Sony Launches an Internet Investigation

An investigation is currently underway to find out where the leak came from which resulted in the publication of an unreleased song recorded by Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz.

Sony management wants to find the person responsible for the leak of the duet between the music superstars without permission.

Kravitz has confirmed that he worked with the King of Pop on the song Another Day, which appeared on the Web over the weekend.

In a video posted on his Website, Kravitz said that he’d like to see the song released in its entirety once the Sony investigation is over.  He added that he had nothing to do with the leak, and that his version of the song has been kept in a safe since it was recorded.

"The DJ who’s speaking over the track – I don’t know who that person is. I don’t know how they obtained it. I don’t know what their purpose is but that person has nothing to do with the track. The song was recorded by Michael and myself. I produced it for him. I wrote the song and I played all the instruments on the track," said Kravitz.

Sony executives, with the help and support of lawyers for Jackson’s estate, are currently trying to remove the sample from the Internet.  They hope to find the origin of the leak.
