Upscale French beauty company Sothys announced the launch of its newest makeup collection for spring-summer 2011. Sothys (pronounced So-tis) was the name ancient Egyptians gave to the brightest star in the sky; which, for them, was a symbol of eternal beauty.
The spring-summer 2011 collection consists of the following specially-formulated beauty products: lip gloss and balm, eyeshadow, foundation, and nail polish.
Shiny lip gloss, made from vitamin E, Aquafix, allantoin, and SEPILIFT (anti-aging, anti-pollution), is ultra-bright, non-sticky and comfortable.
Slightly tinted lip balm is a combination of 3 emollient oils along with shea butter and Maxilip plumping agent to give lips a glossy finish and sweet taste.
Eyeshadow pencils come in two intense shades of purple and brown that are flexible and easy to wear. Their specially formulated ultra-matte waterproof finish helps give eyes a mysterious look.
The foundation is 90 percent mineral powder which is perfect to help revive the complexion and give skin a warm and golden glow.
Finally, pink nail polish is specially formulated with seaweed extracts, derived from cysteine, to help create strong, fortified and nourished nails.
Sothys luxury cosmetics will available at their beauty institute and in select stores this April.
