In the midst of several rumours of another reunion, is has been confirmed that a Spice Girls musical is being written. The show will be called Viva Forever, which was also the name of their 1998 hit single.
Persistent rumours began to circulate over the summer that the Spice Girls would be reuniting once again to perform at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup next year in South Africa. Posh Spice, also known as Victoria Beckham, is married to one of the most well-known soccer stars in the world, David Beckham.
However, those rumours died down when new reports of a musical project began to surface. The stage show, which will feature 14 of their songs, will tell the story of how the girl group came to fame, starting from the beginning.
In another interesting twist, the Spice Girls themselves will be selecting the cast. This project will likely turn into a reality television show.
