A source close to the couple confirmed that 38-year old singer and actor Common and 28-year old tennis champion Serena Williams have broken up, Us magazine reports.
The source explains: "They are two workaholics who couldn’t see each other enough. Things happen."
Common recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about Williams. He said: "Serena and I have been close for about two years. It’s been evolving."
When the host asked him about the possibility of wedding bells in the future, he replied: "I would love to get married and have kids."
A spokesperson for the rapper offered no details about the break up.
