The American director told the Los Angeles Times that he would like to adapt his famous movie franchise, Star Wars, for television.
Lucas has already started working on this project and indicated that Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader would not be characters for the television series which would have mostly secondary characters.
Lucas revealed, "The Skywalkers aren’t in it, and it’s about minor characters."
