According to a report on Coco Perez, Adidas announced that Stella McCartney will design uniforms to be worn by British Olympic athletes at the 2012 Olympic Summer Games being held in London.
This is not the first time that McCartney has collaborated with Adidas. She created a clothing collection for the brand.
Adidas also reveals that the British designer will design four other collections which will be launched over the next two years as part of their joint campaign.
Stella McCartney, who is pregnant with her fourth child, said: "As a British fashion designer, it is an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be creative director of Team GB as the hosting nation of the London 2012 Olympic Games."
McCartney, 38, married editor Alasdhair Willis in 2003. The couple already have three children, Miller, 5, Bailey, 3½, and Beckett, 2½. The fourth should arrive at the end of the fall.
