Stella McCartney says her latest designs make a ”statement”.
The designer believes every item in her autumn/winter 2012/13 collection is easy to wear while still be stylish and flattering.
She said: ”I love the print-on-print and the all-in-ones and pyjama-style pieces. They are so easy to wear and still make a statement. And I love the last dresses on the runway – they create an illusion of curves that bring out the best in the female form.”
In February Stella will be showing her latest collection at London Fashion Week following years in Paris and she’s glad to be back in her native country.
She told Stylist magazine: ”There’s a lot to be excited about in London this year and I really wanted to celebrate that. We’re kicking it off by having a World of Stella, then we’re opening a London store on Brompton Cross and, of course, we also have the Olympics coming up. So presenting a special one-off collection which will focus on eveningwear during London Fashion Week is another great way of celebrating that.”
