Stellan Skarsgård Becomes the Father of Orlando Bloom

According to the Swedish newspaper  Aftonbladet, Skarsgård (Ronin, Amistad, Exorcist: The Beginning, King Arthur), will become `Bootstraps´ Turner, the father of Bloom in this Walt Disney film.

Filming of this much awaited film begins in February, and will probably be filming until December.

Skarsgård commented, "We are going to shoot around the Los Angeles area as well as in the Bahamas and the West Indies," I’m playing the old pirate ‘Bootstraps’ Turner… it should be fun, I enjoyed the first one."
