According to a quote in Britain’s Daily Star, the couple have been on several dates, and were spotted together at a pre-Oscar bash in Los Angeles.

According to the paper, Martin, 59, is so smitten with the actress, that he recently organized a suprise 40th birthday party for her last month.

One friend says, "It’s the real thing – they have become very close. They are ready to let people know they are an item. They tried to act like they were not together at the party but couldn’t stop stealing kisses."
