According to Variety, actor Steve Martin will be joining Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin for an upcoming film written by Nancy Meyers (The Holiday, Something’s Gotta Give).
This romantic comedy, which hasn’t been given a title, will tell the story of two men (Martin and Baldwin) who fight for the love of one woman (Streep).
Meyers will also co-produce and direct the film, which begins shooting in February, with Scott Rudin.
Steve worked with Meyers before when she co-wrote one of his feature films, Father of the Bride.
Steve Martin is also part of the Pink Panther 2 cast, which opens in theatres on February 6, 2009.
