The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the two men, who previously worked on the film The Argentine, will now be working on the film Making Jack Falcone.
Buchman will write the screenplay, while Soderbergh will serve as the project’s executive producer.
The film will follow the story of Joaquin "Jack" Garcia, also known as Jack Falcone. The Cuban-American FBI agent successfully infiltrated the Gambino crime family.
Soderbergh directed the film The Informant, which will hit theatres on September 18, 2009. He is currently shooting The Girlfriend Experience in New York.
