The 61-year-old rocker has responded to accusations made by BostonHerald.com that alcohol played a part in his fall during the show on August 6, which led to the cancellation of the Aerosmith tour.
"Truth be known, I jumped off the stage on purpose. (I was) as sober as you can be," Steven Tyler declared in an interview with Rolling Stone.
The singer of the Boston group still takes all the blame for the consequences of his accident. "I had to ruin it all by falling and I’m sorry. I’ve said that to the fans and my band and everybody else, and I only hope they forgive me for having to cancel such a f*&king awesome tour," said Tyler.
