Surgery for Faith Hill

An old knee injury from playing softball has forced Hill to go under the knife to repair her knee.  Despite the operation, the 40-year-old singer will be back to work soon.  She expressed, "Who has time to slow down?  Doctors had told me to stay off my feet for a bit and now I’m following their rehab program. I intend to be back better and stronger."

In light of the surgery, Hill had to cancel her participation in a tribute to Aretha Franklin, which will take place on February 8 by the MusiCares Foundation.

Hill plans to return to the recording studio to work on a Christmas album.
