The certificate’s date has caused some concern, particularly since the child was born nearly a month earlier, on April 18. A source from the St. John Hospital in Los Angeles explains that the delay was probably caused by the fact that neither of the parents signed the document. In fact, the birth certificate was signed by a friend. The friend claims that the parents were too busy to sign the paper, and that the birth certificate is important to have in order to obtain a passport.
