Boyle shot to fame in 2009 as a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, and also was watched by more than 300 million people on YouTube.
The Scottish singer, who has been both adored and scrutinized since her discovery last April, will be performing in the Canadian city on November 26. The show will be held at First Canadian Place, which is known for providing free concerts during lunch hour to entertain the 10 000 employees who work in the 72-floor tower.
Three days before Boyle takes the stage, the 48-year-old star’s first album will hit stores. The album, I Dreamed a Dream, will be released on November 23.
Boyle’s Toronto performance will begin at 12:15, followed by an autograph session where Boyle will meet her fans.
