Susan Boyle tells her story

The singing sensation is writing her autobiography.

Scottish singer Susan Boyle will tell the world her story now that she has inked a deal to write her autobiography, Orange News reports.

The 49-year old star gained international success after appearing on the reality show Britain’s Got Talent last year. Her first album, I Dreamed A Dream, also came out last year and found itself at the top of charts around the world.

Now, she wants to put her story in a book. She teamed up with Transworld to tell the story of her life. She also wants to pay tribute to her late mother whom she looked after until her death in 2007. Her mom lived to the ripe old age of 91.

Boyle says: "I’m writing this book to try to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and I hope it will benefit other people. My story demonstrates that you shouldn’t just look at the label, you should look at the whole person, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually."

The singer wants to show people that your dreams can come true if you have the courage and the will to make them happen.

The Woman I Was Born To Be will be available in stores in the fall.
