Susan Boyle will perform at Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee pageant.

The ‘Wild Horses’ singer is the latest act to be confirmed for the four-day event at Windsor Castle to celebrate the queen’s 60-year reign, joining a host of celebrities including Rolf Harris, Dame Helen Mirren, TV stars ‘Doc Martin’ star Martin Clunes, ‘The Kumars’ Sanjeev Bhaskar and comedian Omid Djalili.

Susan – who has previously performed for the pope – will sing on the May 13, the final night of the pageant, for an audience including Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh.

The event, which will also feature military displays and dancers, celebrates more than 250 Commonwealth and state visits that the queen has made during her reign.

In addition to the pageant in Windsor, Gary Barlow is putting together a musical extravaganza at Buckingham Palace on June 4 where performers will include Kylie Minogue and Stevie Wonder.

Speaking about her upcoming performance, Kylie has previously said: "I’m honoured to be invited to perform at the Diamond Jubilee Concert.

"To share the stage in front of Buckingham Palace with music legends including Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Elton John in celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee is very exciting."

Stevie added: "It’s an honour to celebrate Queen Elizabeth. It’s an honour to celebrate Great Britain. The time is overdue that I meet Her Majesty."
