T-Pain reveals star-studded new release

Rapper will be joined by Ke$ha, Chris Brown and others on his next opus.

Rapper T-Pain has revealed to Rolling Stone that several superstar collaborations will be included on his forthcoming album entitled rEVOLVEr.

Scheduled for release this October, the artist, producer and actor said his album will feature heavyweight hit-makers Ke$ha and Lily Allen. He also said there could be a possible “guest spot from Drake as well.”

Upon hearing his demo using samples from her song Who’d Have Known, British singer Lily Allen approached T-Pain about formally contributing to the record.

"I sampled one of Lily’s songs,” the 25-year-old rapper told Rolling Stone, “and she heard it and wanted to do it official."

As for his collaboration with Ke$ha – whom he’s been rumored to have secretly dated – T-Pain said: "She’s the new pop version of a rock & roll artist. Trashing hotel rooms, doing what they want. I love that she does that and doesn’t care."

With four albums under his belt since leaving the group Nappy Headz in 2005, the brazenly Auto-Tune-dependant star indicated that his recent collaboration with Chris Brown for Best Love Song has made it onto this fifth solo effort.

rEVOLVer is T-Pain’s follow-up to 2008’s Thr33 Ringz.
