Adam Sandler to Star in Drama

The star has already started working on the film which tells the story of a man who loses his family on September 11, 2001.

In an interview with ComingSoon, Sandler talked about his experience, "I don’t know how to describe the movie, how to sum it up… I can’t wait for Mike Binder, the man who wrote it, and hear him discuss it, because I don’t know how to phrase this. But it’s just about a man who’s been through a terrible thing — he lost his family in 9/11 — and he has a hard time just living life and just being in the moment."

The movie is not based on a true character, but several 9/11 survivors and families were interviewed during the writing of the script.  Jada Pinkett Smith and Liv Tyler also star in the project.  No release date has been announced.

Adam Sandler May Star in Jack and Jill

Sony Studios has purchased the rights to the comedy and would like to put Sandler in the lead role.  At the moment, the script for the project is being kept a secret.

Sandler can next be seen in the comedy Click, which is due to be in theatres at the end of June.

New Trailer for Next Adam Sandler Movie

Frank Coraci directed this comedy about a workaholic architect, that finds a remote that permits him to rewind or fast forward his life.  Problems arise when the remote starts malfunctioning.

The cast also includes:  Christopher Walken, Kate Beckinsale, Blake Heron, Allen Covert, Peter Dante, David Hasselhoff, Sean Astin, Rachel Dratch, Henry Winkler, Katie Cassidy and Michelle Lombardo.

The movie will be in theatres on June 23.

Adam Sandler Is a Father

"The baby is healthy!!  The mother is healty!!", Sandler informed his fans.  No other details were revealed, however, People magazine is reporting that the Sandlers have a baby girl, who was born on Sunday at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

Sandler, 39, and Jackie, 31, were married on June 22, 2003 at the private residence of Dick Clark.  The ceremony took place before 400 guests, including Jennifer Aniston, Dustin Hoffman, Rodney Dangerfield, Sharone Osbourne and Rob Schneider.

We can next see Adam Sandler in the film Click, which opens on June 23.

Adam Sandler and Kevin James Team for Film

According to Variety, the two stars have been talking to Universal studios to play two heterosexual firefighters who pretend to be married homosexuals.

The comedy will be directed by David Dobkin, who had a big success with The Wedding Crashers.

Henry Winkler to Play Adam Sandler’s Father

The film will be the third collaboration by Winkler and Sandler.  They also worked together in The Waterboy and Little Nicky.

Frank Coraci will direct the dramatic comedy about an architect who finds a universal remote that allows him to rewind and fast-forward through parts of his life.  Things become more complicated when the remote starts making its own choices.

Winkler will soon be starring in a television series for CBS.  The medical drama, which also stars Stockard Channing, premiers this fall.

Miss Universe Joins Adam Sandler

Hawkins, who represented Australia in the Miss Universe Pageant, has joined the cast of Click.

In the film, which also stars Christopher Walken and Kate Beckinsale, Sandler will play a workaholic architect.

Thrilled Hawkins, 21, says, "I love Adam Sandler, I think he’s hilarious. The fact that he wants me in his new movie is totally unbelievable."

Chris Rock and Adam Sandler Reunite

In addition to being the star, Chris Rock co-wrote the comedy.  He will play the role of a limousine driver.

Filming of The Gilmores of Beverly Hills is set to begin in the fall.

Rock and Sandler are currently stars of the box offices with their movies, Madagascar and The Longest Yard.  The two movies were the second and third most popular films last week.  Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
