Collaboration of Stella McCartney with Adidas Criticized

Stella McCartney was criticized by animal rights activists in regards to her work with Adidas, a company which apparently uses kangaroo leather for certain shoes.

The vegetarian designer often condemns the fashion industry for their use of fur, and has now become a target of criticism for her partnership with Adidas.

McCartney denied being involved in any type of animal cruelty, and states she is a huge protector of animal rights.

Her spokesperson asserted, "Stella McCartney is a lifelong vegetarian and committed advocate of animal rights and doesn’t use any leather or fur in any of her collections, including of course, her successful Adidas by Stella McCartney collections, which are 100 per cent cruelty free."
