Amber Heard’s sister furious with MTV and Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp ‘s little appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards is far from having charmed everyone and among those outraged people, we find Amber Heard‘s sister, Whitney.

Whitney Henriquez Heard delivered a powerful message by adding the letter “D” in front of the VMA, thus making DVMA, alluding to domestic violence.

Here is what she wrote:

“@MTV you guys are disgusting and clearly desperate! I really hope none of the people who made this call have daughters…. #dvmas”

This TV appearance as an “astronaut” was the first in a very long time for Johnny Depp, and it really didn’t please everyone, even though the actor won his defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife some time ago.

Amber Heard fires her lawyers and changes her strategy for her appeal

Amber Heard was found guilty of defamation because she presented herself as a victim of domestic violence and a jury preferred the version of Johnny Depp.

Amber Heard chose to appeal her verdict, which concluded a surreal lawsuit against Johnny Depp, but for the next chapter of this story, she decided to hire two new high-profile lawyers, David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown.

The plan is clear for the next chapter: to assert the right to freedom of speech, which is guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

The 36-year-old actress still hasn’t given up, deciding to let Elaine Bredehoft go, who was her lawyer during the six-week trial.

Heard and her new team will go ahead with a new strategy to avoid paying a final sum currently estimated at more than $10M (US).

The Heard team seems really confident to turn the situation around in favor of the actress, The Toronto Sun reports.
