Bono as the Jolie-Pitt Twins’ Godfather?

According to The Mirror, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt will have a celebrity godfather, the lead singer of the band U2.

While Jolie, 33, and Pitt, 44, are resting in the South of France, the couple reportedly decided to ask Bono to be the newborn twins’ godparent.

A source from the journal indicated that the rocker immediately accepted the honour.

"They have been friends for years. Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back, " said the source who added, "Since then, they’ve become very close, which Brad is thrilled about. Angelina is inspired by Bono’s humanitarian work and gets on with his wife Ali Hewson. Ali’s given Angelina some clothes from her ethical clothing range Edun."

Bono Working with the Spice Girls

The singer of the group U2 has composed a song, which is still untitled, for the group that is reuniting. Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell will be singing this song during their fourth world tour.

The record company was concerned about their disc sales, for the Greatest Hits album, which will be released next month. They presumed that Bono’s collaboration would help record sales.

A source told the Daily Mirror, "It might seem unusual with the Spice Girls’ pop roots and the much rockier work of Bono, but it works."

Bono is not the first star to collaborate with the Spice Girls since their comeback. Last month, there was an announcement that George Michael would be writing a Christmas song for them.

The Spice Girls tour will be beginning on December 7 in Los Angeles.
