A New Film for Fantastic Four

According to the latest information, 20th Century Fox wants to reinvent the Fantastic Four franchise.

The studio hopes to start again, only two years after the release of the second film, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

The decision comes after the success of the films Iron Man, The Dark Knight and Watchmen, which each feature a darker, more adult side than the typical Fantastic Four films.

In order to put their plan into play, the director, Tim Story, and cast, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis and Julian McMahon, will be replaced.

Nick Lachey Gets Turned Down

According to News Weekly magazine, Lachey asked his girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, to marry him.  The young woman turned down the proposal.  Lachey, who was previously married to singer Jessica Simpson, was upset that Minnillo, an MTV presenter, turned him down.

A source said, "Nick would marry Vanessa tomorrow. She is the one who wants to take things slower. She is in no rush to become Mrs. Nick Lachey."

The What’s Left of Me singer is reportedly worried that his relationship with Minnillo is doomed if she becomes more famous than he is.

The source added, "It’s the Jessica syndrome all over again. One of the reasons Nick and Vanessa’s romance works is that he is  the bigger star. Jessica’s fame ruined their marriage and now Nick can’t help but worry the same thing will happen to Vanessa."

Lachey, 33, is more concerned than ever, now that Minnillo has been offered a role opposite Chris Evans in the next Fantastic Four film.
