Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy’s second heart op a success

Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy’s second heart operation has gone ahead successfully.

The 50-year-old talk show host and wife Molly McNearney welcomed their second child William John, known as Billy, into the world seven months ago, and were devastated to learn he had to undergo life-saving heart surgery after doctors discovered he had a congenital heart defect, but surgery went well on Monday (04.12.17).

ABC released a statement, saying: "Jimmy’s son Billy had a scheduled and successful heart surgery this morning."

The network also announced that Jimmy will be taking time off to spend with his family and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ will be hosted by a series of celebrity guests this week.

Chris Pratt took the chair on Monday to interview ‘Suicide Squad’ star Margot Robbie and country singer Chris Stapleton.

Jimmy tweeted: "Very thankful to Chris @PrattPrattPratt for filling in for me tonight with guests @MargotRobbie & @ChrisStapleton. You are Lord of Stars on the screen and off. (sic)"

Billy – who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia – was originally scheduled to have his second heart operation in late October, but it had to be postponed because the family were suffering from colds.

Jimmy explained: "Basically, the pulmonary valve was completely blocked and he has a hole in the wall between the left and right sides of his heart."

Billy will still have to undergo a third operation in the coming months.

Jimmy – who has kids Katie, 26, and Kevin, 24, with former wife Gina, and three-year-old Jane, as well as Billy, with spouse Molly McNearney – previously admitted he’s nervous for the procedures and wants to get them "over with".

He said: "We would like to get them over with and not have to think about it all the time, but it could definitely be worse."

Despite Billy’s condition, he is still a "healthy and happy" child.

Other stars due to guest host ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ this week include Tracee Ellis Ross, Neil Patrick Harris and Melissa McCarthy.

Chris Pratt threatens ‘pervy’ imposter on social media

Chris Pratt has warned his fans of a "pervy dude" impersonating him on social media.

The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star said he felt "terrified" and "sick", as he alerted his followers of an imposter who was posing as him in an attempt to get personal details from his female fans.

Chris shared a screen grab of an unverified Facebook account set up in his name, admitted he would like to punch the imposter.

He wrote on Instagram: "PERVY DUDE ALERT!!! (Not a joke) It’s confirmed: somebody is trying to pretend to be me on Facebook (and maybe other social media platforms) apparently hitting on a lot of different female fans, trying to get their numbers and who knows what else … My message to any fans who are contacted by someone claiming to be Chris Pratt: Look for the BLUE "VERIFIED" CHECKMARK next to the name. If there is no checkmark by my name that person is an imposter. I’m sorry. (sic)"

He added: "Tell your siblings. Educate our young ones. It’s probably mostly kids who would fall for this. Makes me sick.

"It terrifies me to think someone could be hurt, their feelings or much worse, by this imposter/potential predator. I’ve had many, many people tell me about this. It’s not an isolated incident. If anyone is in contact with this person block them immediately. (sic)"

Pratt, 38, also threatened the imposter and admitted he would like to punch them.

The Hollywood action man wrote: "If I find out who it is I’ll have their account shut down and seriously would like to punch them right in the GD mouth. You hear that imposter!? Stop."

He added: "If it’s you doing it, I’m warning you. Stop right now or you will@be very unhappy with the outcome. Go find Jesus. (sic)"

Anna Faris feels ‘incredibly vulnerable’ after opening up in her memoir

Anna Faris feels "incredibly vulnerable" after opening up about her life in her new book ‘Unqualified’.

The ‘Mom’ star is "really proud" of herself for talking about her own insecurities and feelings of jealousy in her memoir and hopes other people can "relate" to her feelings.

Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she said: "I’ve been able to hide behind my characters for my career, which has been such a luxury. Then I thought, ‘Maybe I have something to say,’ you know, and I can tell people about how lonely I was growing up or how insecure I felt or jealous or whatever. I’m really proud of it.

"I feel incredibly vulnerable. I feel really proud because it’s me, it’s an exposure of who I am. I’ve been doing this acting work for awhile and I feel unbelievably vulnerable at this stage – but I feel proud and I hope that people can relate to it. Hopefully there’s this collective idea that we all go through the same stuff."

Meanwhile, Anna – who has five-year-old son Jack with her estranged husband Chris Pratt – recently admitted she was "really really nervous" about releasing her memoir.

Speaking on her Unqualified podcast, she said previously: "I feel really, really nervous because it feels intimate. I’m excited and when I first got the book deal, I thought, ‘What a great adventure this is going to be,’ and now that it’s getting closer, I feel nervous in a sense that I’ve been able to always hide behind characters. And now it’s like, this is me. It feels a little scary."

Anna Faris doesn’t believe in closure

Anna Faris doesn’t believe in "closure".

The ‘Mom’ actress – who recently split from husband Chris Pratt – insists heartbreak makes people "more human" and she doesn’t agree with drawing a line under a tough situation.

Speaking about her podcast, ‘Anna Faris is Unqualified’, at a promotional stop in New Jersey to plug her new book ‘Unqualified’ she said: "We talk a lot about the idea of closure, which is something that I don’t believe in because I think that it’s important to accept the idea that your heartbreak is an important thing that helps you be more human."

At the fan event, Anna began the evening by FaceTiming her five-year-old son Jack to ensure he brushed his teeth before going to bed.

She said: "Before we begin, this is my son. I know, I’m trying to win you over with my kid."

Jack then thanked the crowd for coming to the event and advised his mom not to "get fired".

Anna has admitted the timing for her newly-released memoir hitting shelves wasn’t ideal because of her marital woes, but she now thinks it was quite fitting.

She told People magazine: "The idea of all this happening and culminating with the book as well, it was like: ‘Oh boy, how do I frame this?’

"At first I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, this is crazy timing.’ Now it sort of feels like maybe in a way everything that’s happened helps bring it full circle."

And she hopes the tome shows fans a different side to her life.

She said: "I didn’t want a book that presents my life as idealistic. I wanted to show the fact that I am unqualified, and I don’t know what I’m doing, and I’m grateful for the people who love me anyway."

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt still ‘great friends’

Anna Faris is still "great friends" with her estranged husband Chris Pratt.

The 40-year-old actress and the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star – who have five-year-old son Jack together – announced they were going their separate ways in August this year after eight years together, and whilst they might not be a couple any more, Anna still has a lot of love for her former flame.

She said: "We’re great. He’s amazing. We’re great friends and we always will be."

Chris, 38, even wrote the foreword to Anna’s upcoming memoir ‘Unqualified’ – which is based on her popular podcast of the same name will hit shelves on Tuesday (24.10.17) – which she wrote about her "life experiences".

Speaking during an appearance on ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’ on Monday (23.10.17) the ‘Mom’ star said: "He was so kind to [write the foreword].

"I decided to write a book about my life experiences and when I started, I thought, ‘This will be a great journey. This is a great idea. I know what I’m doing. I’m 40, I can write a book.’ [Then] it’s like, ‘No. What was I thinking? This is a terrible idea.’

"But what I like to think is the takeaway [is] that a lot of our problems tend to be universal – the idea of jealousy, loneliness, heartbreak. There’s a commonality no matter what profession you’re in or where you live and that’s something the podcast has taught me. We all have the same stuff going on."

It isn’t the first time Anna has shared kind words about Chris either, as she previously said the pair would always be "incredible friends".

She said: "We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends.

"There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still."

Anna Faris’ terror around son’s birth

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were "brought together" by their son’s health issues.

The 40-year-old actress has recalled the "emotionally exhausting" weeks after little Jack’s premature birth five years ago and how she and the ‘Jurassic World’ actor – who she split from in August – were warned the youngster could be "developmentally disabled" after he suffered a bleed on his brain.

In an extract from her memoir ‘Unqualified’ shared by People magazine, she wrote: "The pediatric neurosurgeon sat Chris and me down to tell us that Jack had some severe brain bleeding and there was a chance that he could be developmentally disabled.

"I was in complete shock … So Chris and I did what we could, which was hold hands and hope and face it together…

"These moments can be hard on couples, but for us it really brought us together. It felt like it was us against the world."

Doctors warned the couple they wouldn’t know for sure if Jack had suffered any lasting problems until he was around 18 months old, but he spent weeks being tested and examined in the neonatal intensive care unit.

And Anna, who had been on bed rest for a week before going into labour, said her mindset throughout the terrifying period became: "I have to be as strong as I possibly can … I have to."

After around a month, the ‘Mom’ star and the 38-year-old actor were allowed to take Jack home, and he’s grown up healthy, with just slight vision and leg muscle problems.

Anna wrote: "Today, Jack is at a beautiful age. He has some temper tantrums occasionally (did I mention he’s five?) but he’s a really good kid and he’s happy and delicious and likes cuddles."

Anna Faris is dating cinematographer?

Anna Faris is reportedly dating a cinematographer.

The 40-year-old actress only split from her husband Chris Pratt three months ago, but she’s certainly wasting no time getting back out there on the dating scene as she’s been enjoying a string of romantic dinners with Michael Barrett in Los Angeles.

The pair met one another while shooting ‘Overboard’ earlier this year, but they were not romantically linked until September when they were seen at a carnival together with the blonde beauty’s five-year-old son Jack, whom she has with Chris, in Malibu.

They were then seen a week later at Modo Mio on Sunset Boulevard tucking into "several dishes of various pasta and salad" and sipping on a bottle of wine but, this time, they didn’t mind who saw them as they opted to dine on the open-air patio.

A source told E! News: "It was definitely a dinner date. It seemed romantic in the way they were looking at one another and how they were laughing at the table… No one in the restaurant realized it was her, but she definitely looked to be on a date."

News of her new romance comes just days after she admitted that she and Chris, 38 – who were married for eight years – still get on well and love one another.

The ‘House Bunny’ star said: "We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends. There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still. We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up — unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter.

"It’s understandable that people seemed so invested in our happiness together. All I can say about that is, it’s all true, that we truly adore each other, and we love each other, I think it still comes through."

Anna Faris ‘truly adores’ former partner Chris Pratt

Anna Faris will "always" be "incredible friends" with former partner Chris Pratt.

The 40-year-old actress and the 38-year-old actor decided to end their eight-year marriage in August this year, and despite their split the blonde-haired beauty thinks the pair – who have five-year-old son Jack together – will forever be in each other’s lives because they still get on well and love one another.

Speaking to PEOPLE about her relationship with the ‘Jurassic World’ hunk, Anna said: "We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends.

"There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still."

The ‘The House Bunny’ star has revealed she still "cracks up" when she is with Chris, and she thinks he also finds her humour amusing too.

She added: "We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up — unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter."

But it is not just their comedic traits they are both interested in, as Anna has admitted the former couple still "truly adore" and "love" each other.

She said: "It’s understandable that people seemed so invested in our happiness together. All I can say about that is, it’s all true, that we truly adore each other, and we love each other, I think it still comes through."

Anna is set to release her own book titled ‘Unqualified’ on October 24, which Chris also contributed to.

Speaking about her latest venture, she said: "At first I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, this is crazy timing.’ Now it sort of feels like maybe in a way everything that’s happened helps bring it full circle.

"I am so grateful that he contributed to the book. Chris and I are really great friends, and I think that we always will be."

Chris Hemsworth’s phone gives him ‘anxiety’

Chris Hemsworth suffers from "anxiety" because of his phone.

The 34-year-old actor is filled with an overwhelming feeling of unease when he’s using his mobile device, likening it to the impact of using drugs or alcohol.

Of his anxiety, the Australian hunk explained: "Like meeting your girlfriend at a bus stop, sparking a conversation like, ‘Hi, where are you from?’ Instead, now, you’re on your phone.

"I don’t know about you, but I find my phone gives me a fair bit of anxiety. When you get a text, the dopamine released in your brain is like a drug.

"It’s the same reaction that you might have to cocaine or alcohol or whatever – when you see it, it releases something."

Chris – who has three-year-old sons Tristan and Sasha, as well as five-year-old daughter India with his wife Elsa Pataky – believes social media is the main cause of his unease.

He explained to GQ Australia magazine: "In the past, our information sources had all sorts of ends – a newspaper comes to the end, it’s finished. You stop. A book, there’s a finishing point or there’s a chapter. But Instagram, it’s an endless feed. Facebook, it’s endless. The news is endless. This is now the danger. We don’t stop because there are no ends – there’s nothing to limit your usage and you don’t get to the bottom. That’s the problem.

"Don’t have your phone next to your bed for starters. Don’t take it to dinner, because you’re not giving anyone your attention anymore.

"I prefer the efficiency of phone calls. With texts, the back and forth pulls me away from the kids and what I’m doing. Not to say I don’t do it. But as a society, we’re close to not communicating verbally anymore."

In fact, Chris revealed he’s even been urging his fellow ‘Avengers’ to spend less of their time on their phones while on the set of the new superhero movie, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

He shared: "I was on the ‘Avengers’ set the other week with the ‘Guardians [of the Galaxy]’ guys. There was a circle of people sitting on their phones so I was like, ‘Hey, remember when we used to talk to each other?’

"Chris Pratt gets up and goes, ‘F**k. I know, man. It’s f***ed, isn’t it?’ And he throws his phone down."

Chris Pratt: Anna Faris looked great at Emmys

Chris Pratt thought Anna Faris "looked great" at the Emmys.

The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star praised his estranged wife – who he announced his split from in August – for her appearance at the annual awards show, insisting she did an "amazing job" presenting one of the awards.

Speaking to photographers in Los Angeles, he said: "I know she did great. Anna did an amazing job. She rules! She was great. Her and Allison [Janney], they both looked great."

Meanwhile, Anna’s ‘Mom’ co-star Alison previously praised the blonde beauty for being "courageous and strong" in the wake of her split from Chris.

Alison said: "She has so much love and support on the set of ‘Mom’. She’s a very courageous and strong girl and very professional and love her so much, as [does] everyone. And we love Chris too. We love them both. It’s sad when, you know, people who have to go separate ways, but we support them both and love them both very much."

And Anna recently admitted she didn’t consider Chris to be her best friend when they were together.

She shared: "I was once told that I didn’t need a tight group of girlfriends because Chris should be my best friend. But I never bought that. The idea of your mate being your best friend – it’s overhyped. I really believe that your partner serves one purpose and each friend serves another."

Anna and Chris were thought to be in "couples therapy" to help them best co-parent their five-year-old son Jack.

A source said: "They are going through couples counseling now, which is what you do when you want to divorce and there are children involved. It won’t likely change the status but it could help with their future coparenting.

"Their work separations have taken a toll, and it is not likely that the marriage can be repaired enough to work right now. But there is still love between them. Chris is in demand now and will continue to be traveling all over the world, keeping them apart. That doesn’t make young marriages fare well."
