Anna Faris felt "very insecure" after rumours circulated about Chris Pratt’s alleged infidelity.

The 40-year-old actress – who married the ‘Jurassic World’ actor in 2009 – has admitted she felt "so hurt" by the claims her partner of seven years was cheating on her, and the blonde beauty has revealed she never wanted to be a woman who was "bothered" by marital trouble, although it has plagued her ever since.

Speaking to PEOPLE about how she has coped with the allegations and having her relationship in the limelight, she said: "Chris and I, we talk about this a lot. We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple.

"We were in the public a little bit, there were some tabloid rumours about strain in our relationship.

"I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn’t want to think of myself as somebody who could be bothered by … tabloid s***.

"It made me feel incredibly very insecure."

And ‘The House Bunny’ star – who has four-year-old son Jack with Chris – has admitted she takes pride in her "great relationship", but having to face the growing speculation whilst the 37-year-old hunk was away filming and having to look after their child made it difficult to deal with.

She explained: "I think it was a combination of things. I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would."

Meanwhile, Chris has taken to social media to gush about his wife on her birthday.

He tweeted: "Please join me in wishing Happy Birthday to my darling @AnnaKFaris I’m sending you love from afar, beautiful lady.

"Anna is a daughter/sister/mom/leader/wife and most of all, an actor who loooooves to play characters. Happy Birthday love. (sic)."

Anna Faris has been fined $5,000 after her pet dog was found homeless.

The 39-year-old actress has been dished out the penalty after the Chihuahua – named Pete – she adopted from Kinder4Rescue four years ago was found emaciated wandering the streets in North Hollywood, California, on Friday (18.11.16).

Writing on the Kinder4Rescue official Facebook page, Laurel Kinder – who runs the rescue centre – wrote in a since-deleted post: "Calling Anna Faris house bunny The puppy you adopted from us years ago was found starving on the street. Someone brought it into a vet, scanned the microchip, we’ve been calling you for days no return call did you read your contract about giving our dogs away and the $5,000 fine.

"If you were panicking looking for your lost dog you certainly would’ve contacted us or the microchip company. I’m not sure what you’re guilty of this dog ended up in this condition, you signed a four page contract how does this dog end up on the street Anna, being a celebrity does not excuse you from following the rules or respecting the rescue you adopted the dog from, or abiding the contract. This is why people are not allowed to give Kinder4Rescue dogs away they have adopted from us because they become disposable get passed around and end up on the street like this (sic)."

Anna and her husband Chris Pratt, with whom she has four-year-old son Jack, are reportedly out of town and arranged for the dog to live elsewhere, although it’s not yet known whether that arrangement was permanent or temporary while they were away.

Her representative told People: "Anna is thrilled that the dog has been found, and is ensuring all necessary arrangements are made to bring the dog home."

However, according to TMZ, Laurel has put the actress on the shelter’s do-not-adopt list and is adamant Anna – who signed a lengthy contract when she got the pooch – will have to prove she’s been actively looking for the dog before she’ll be able to get out of the fine.

It’s not yet known if the shelter is willing to hand Pete back over to the couple.

Chris Pratt has gushed about his son to show his support on World Prematurity Day.

The 37-year-old actor took to social media on Thursday (11.17.16) to share a heartfelt message about his four-year-old child Jack – who he has with his wife Anna Faris – and Chris has revealed despite weighing "just over three pounds" when he was born he is "perfectly healthy", and he has credited March of Dimes organization for their help.

The ‘Jurassic World’ star shared a clip of Jack playing in the garden with a Praying Mantis on his Instagram account, which he captioned: "As many of you may know, our son Jack was just over 3 pounds when he was born. Thanks to scientific advances made possible by #marchofdimes funding, today he’s a perfectly healthy, curious 4 year old. Today is #worldprematurityday. 15 million babies are born #prematurely each year around the world. And 1 million of them won’t live to celebrate their 1st #birthday. The @marchofdimes strives for a world where every #baby has a fair chance, yet this is not the reality for many mothers and babies. Join me in supporting their efforts to give every baby a fighting chance by clicking the link in my bio. Thank you! God Bless!!! (sic)."

And the star also took to Twitter to help raise awareness about the condition.

He tweeted: "Today is #WorldPrematurityDay. Did you know that 15 million babies are born prematurely in the world each year… (sic)."

However, this is not the first time the Hollywood hunk has shown his support for the foundation, which helps to support mothers and children, as in two years ago Chris gave a touching speech about fatherhood.

Speaking previously, the dark-haired heartthrob said: "I’ve done all kinds of cool things as an actor: I’ve jumped out of helicopters and done some daring stunts and played baseball in a professional stadium, but none of it means anything compared to being somebody’s daddy. I made promises in that moment about what kind of dad I wanted to be and I just prayed that he’d live long enough that I could keep them.

"Our Jack went from a small, helpless little squirt to a strong, smart, happy, funny, beautiful boy who loves monster trucks and ‘Daniel Tiger’, and, believe it or not, loves vegetables."

The 37-year-old actor also revealed his mother-in-law showed him how to do a French braid when his wife Anna Farris’ hair started getting damaged from the styles he was using.

He told America’s InStyle magazine: "My sister taught me how to braid when we were younger. Then, I would braid Anna’s hair at night … it was a nice little ritual. But her hair started breaking off at the top of the braid because she was sleeping on it. So Anna’s mom thought a French braid might distribute the pressure. She taught me when we were in Hawaii shooting ‘Jurassic World’."

Chris also praised Anna, 39 – the mother of his son Jack – as "effortlessly stylish" but admitted he is less interested in fashion than she is.

He said: "She’s effortlessly stylish. But when we met, I think she appreciated that I was a guy who wore, like, cargo shorts and a T-shirt from Cabela’s. That was my staple wardrobe for a really long time. Now I’m a little more aware of my choices. I don’t just passively have stylists put whatever they want on me. I pay attention.

"In high school my parents and I had a deal. They would pay for either my car insurance or my clothes. So I let them cover the insurance and I got my own clothes. I’d shop at the thrift store. There were a lot of loggers and mill workers up in that area, so the stuff that was donated was generally flannels, old boots, and jeans that were all effed up. But I didn’t go the grunge route. I went more for silk Hawaiian T-shirts and bell-bottom jeans."
