Daniel Radcliffe Likes the Ladies

According to The Observer magazine, Radcliffe loves the fact that he is getting so much attention from the opposite sex, even if it is because of his celebrity status.  The actor exclaims, "I’m 17, I don’t care! It’s wonderful!"

At the age of 18, Radcliffe is one of the wealthiest teenagers in England, with a fortune estimated to be nearly $35 million US.  Radcliffe therefore does know that he must be wary of the intentions of others.  The Harry Potter star is currently single.

Radcliffe does feel confident in his ability to choose friends, saying, "I’d rather take the chance if I really like someone. I’ve got quite a good instinct for people."

Daniel Radcliffe Poses Nude

The 17 year-old star, who is best known for his title role of Harry Potter, was photographed in the nude to promote the play which will be performed in a London theatre.

Equus, by Peter Schaffer, will begin on February 27.  Radcliffe will play Alan Sprang, an adolescent who is being treated by a psychiatrist for his obsession with horses. 

In addition to appearing nude, Radcliffe will also have a sex scene in the play.

Watch the Harry Potter Trailer

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry enters his fifth year of studies at the Hogwarts Institute, and soon realizes that his fellow students don’t want to talk about his recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldermort.

A new teacher is also named by the Ministry of Magic to keep an eye on the Hogwarts.  He will teach them to defend themselves against evil, following the possible return of Dumbledore.  Harry becomes a part of Dumbledore’s Army.

Many other celebrities also star with Radcliffe in the action drama, including Emma Watson, Ralph Fiennes, Emma Thompson and Helena Bonham Carter.

The fifth film of the Harry Potter franchise was directed by David Yates.

Daniel Radcliffe To Appear Nude

The 17 year-old star will be appearing nude in the London stage production of Equus.  The actor hopes to do something different so that he won’t be typecast as the sorcerer’s apprentice, according to Newsweek magazine.

Radcliffe explained, "Part of me wants to shake up people’s perception of me, just shove me in a blender."  The young actor will play a troubled man with an erotic obsession with horses.

For Radcliffe, it will be his first attempt to find other avenues for his acting talent.  He has played Harry Potter for 7 years.

Harry Potter’s First Kiss

According to Hello magazine, Radcliffe and leung were excited about their scene, although they were nervous about the execution.  They are currently filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Leung, 19, plays Cho Chang, Harry Potter’s girlfriend.  "Daniel is a good kisser," she revealed, "I really enjoyed it. He’s energetic and makes you feel relaxed… It’s great working with him."

Radcliffe, 18, enjoyed taking part in his first love scene, saying, "My God, it was fun. Me and Katie – we were awkward and nervous at first but once we got it, it was fine."

The film’s producer, David Yates, said that the crew gathered around the monitor to see Harry Potter’s first kiss.

Daniel Radcliffe Naked in a Play

The 17-year old actor, who plays the magician with glasses in the adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s novels, will play a disturbed teenager working in a stable, in the Peter Shaffer play, Equus.

The play will focus on the emotions of this young man, Alan Strang, who will blind six horses with a metal pick. The production should be on stage next March in London’s West End Theater district.

"It is an extraordinary play, and he’s very much looking forward to the role," Radcliffe’s spokeswoman, Vanessa Davies, said. "He is maturing as an actor and beginning to take on new and challenging roles."

Daniel Radcliffe May Be a Young James Bond

A film is being planned that will dive into the early years of the celebrated Agent 007.

Radcliffe is being considered for the part, as well as Jamie Bell.  Orlando Bloom has recently denied rumours that he is also in the running for the role.

This James Bond entry into the series of films was inspired by the book Silverfin, which is already a bestseller.

The story is set in 1930 when the young James Bond spends his summer at a family vacation home.  It is there that he discovers a man who is performing dangerous genetic experiments.

Daniel Radcliffe in December Boys

The drama, scheduled to begin filming in Australia in November, is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Michael Noonan.

Radcliffe will play the oldest of four orphans competing for the affections of an adopting couple.  The drama, set in the 1960s, will also focus on the main character’s first love affair.

Actress Teresa Palmer will also star in the film.
