Dwayne Johnson is People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2016

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been chosen to be People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2016.

The 44-year-old action star will receive the annual honor and will be the cover star of the publication’s special issue, according to website Gossip Cop.

Johnson – who still wrestles part-time for WWE – has been picked for his muscular physique, chiseled good looks and winning personality.

Since giving up wrestling full-time in 2004, the actor has gone on to become one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars with roles in hits such as ‘Pain & Gain’, ‘Central Intelligence’ and the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise.

Johnson’s next film is the Disney musical ‘Moana’ and then in 2017 he will be seen in the next ‘Fast and Furious’ sequel, a big screen ‘Baywatch’ reboot and a remake of ‘Jumanji’ and will then start work on superhero film ‘Shazam’ and a follow-up to ‘San Andreas’.

In the summer, Johnson was named by Forbes as the world’s highest-paid actor with earnings of $64.5 million.

Johnson follows in a long line of hunks to take People’s honor starting in 1985 with the first winner Mel Gibson.

Other recipients include Chris Hemsworth, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatum and George Clooney – who, along with Johnny Depp and Richard Gere, has taken the title twice.

The 2015 winner was retired soccer star David Beckham – who is married to Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham.

Gamer girl Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe Grace Moretz started gaming when she was "three or four" because she loved being able to take down her older brothers in video games.

The 19-year-old actress and her four siblings, Brandon, Trevor, Colin, and Ethan, all enjoyed competing against one another and she always enjoyed turning on the console to take them on because the virtual world gave her a level playing field compared to their sports matches.

In an interview with website Refinery29, she shared: "I grew up in a family with four older brothers. I never really had any gender cues in my life – I did ballet, jazz, tap; I did basketball and soccer; and I played video games. Video games were a part of my life since I was three or four years old, watching my brothers play and me wanting to play. What I liked about it above a physical sport was that I could fully take down my foot-and-a-half-taller older brother by just being a better gamer than him. It was a good way to even the playing field between us.

"When you’re in the game, you’re the player, and it doesn’t matter if you’re an 800-pound man or 95-pound girl – it’s just whether or not you’re a good gamer."

Chloe insists more girls she could get into gaming because it’s a "fun" way of interacting with guys.

She said: "Gaming is fun, and it’s a fun way for guys and girls to have some friendly competition and even the playing field. It’s not a wrestling match – they can’t overpower you. It’s a fun way girls can exercise their strength."

When she gets the chance, Chloe enjoys gaming now and finds it’s a great way to forget about the stresses of her Hollywood career.

The ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’ star – who previously dated Brooklyn Beckham, the son of David and Victoria Beckham – says her love of video games has helped her acting, because it has widened her imagination.

She said: "Video games are just a heightened form of imagination. There are amazing experiences you couldn’t do in everyday life – it’s like you’re watching a movie … Video games in general really are role-playing. From a young age, I was able to jump into these super-stylized, wild roles and characters through video games. With a movie like ‘Kick-Ass’, when I was 11 years old, I was probably more open to and more excited about it because I had played video games at a young age. I think video games can help build your imagination as a kid."

Victoria Beckham: Harper has a better social life than me

Victoria Beckham says her daughter has a "better social life" than her.

Harper Beckham is only five years old, but her 42-year-old mum says she’s "very sociable" and has "a lot of friends".

The fashion designer also has three sons, Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 11, with her husband David Beckham and it makes her very proud to see them all "happy" and "confident".

She told the November issue of Vogue Australia magazine: "[Harper] works very hard at school and is very sociable, so has a lot of friends. She has a better social life than I do! My children are all very happy and that’s the most crucial thing – they are happy, confident and secure in themselves."

Victoria’s latest comments come after she admitted she doesn’t have much of a "social life" because her four children are her "first priority" in life.

The former Spice Girl said: "[I don’t] have a social life. My four children and David are my first priority. When there’s a play on or a parent/teacher meeting, I’m there. David and I are rarely away at the same time. We do the homework, the bath time and the bed time. Paying someone to do those things for you to make your life easier isn’t wrong but they’re important to me."

And whilst Victoria can’t say for sure if her children will follow in her footsteps and get involved with her self-titled fashion label, the kids are showing an interest in her line of work and share her passion for style.

She said previously: "Brooklyn wants to be a photographer, he loves art. Obviously he shot the fragrance campaign for Burberry, so maybe he’ll be a fashion photographer.

"Romeo enjoyed working with Burberry too, and Harper and Cruz are too young to tell, but they love fashion.

"They all take a lot of pride in the way they look. When we go out for dinner as a family, they all put their little looks together. Cruz spends a lot of time making sure his hair is just right."

Victoria Beckham has no social life

Victoria Beckham doesn’t have a social life.

The 42-year-old fashion designer insists her work and her family life with husband David Beckham and their children Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old Harper keeps her very busy as she’d rather be a hands-on mother than employ staff to raise her kids.

She told the Sunday People: "I don’t have a social life. My four children and David are my first priority. When there’s a play on or a parent/teacher meeting, I’m there.

"David and I are rarely away at the same time. We do the homework, the bathtime and the bedtime.

"Every day, we take Harper to school. She gets her scooter out of the boot, scoots inside and turns around to wave goodbye.

Paying someone to do those things for you to make your life easier isn’t wrong but they’re important to me."

The former Spice Girls singer, who suffered from severe acne when she was younger, makes frequent visits to skin specialist Sarah Chapman for facials – but sometimes lies to her husband as to her whereabouts.

She admitted: "I try to see Sarah Chapman at least once a month but I’ve been known to tell David I’ve been to a meeting when really I’ve gone to Chelsea to see Sarah. He’ll say, ‘How come you’re back from the meeting not wearing make-up?. You’re not wearing make-up, which isn’t like you!’."

But Victoria insists she’ll never have cosmetic surgery on her face.

She added: "I’m not going to be one of those women with a 70-year-old body and a 25 year old’s face. Let’s hope it becomes more acceptable for women to age."

Victoria Beckham’s appearance-proud children

Victoria Beckham’s children take "a lot of pride" in their appearance.

The 42-year-old fashion designer – who has sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 11, and daughter Harper, five, with husband David – still doesn’t know whether her kids will want to follow in her footsteps, but they already share her passion for style.

She said: "Brooklyn wants to be a photographer, he loves art.

"Cruz spends a lot of time making sure his hair is just right."

While Brooklyn and Romeo have undertaken modeling work in the past, Victoria and David insist their school work comes first and would only agree to any of their kids taking on campaigns if they truly wanted to be involved.

Victoria told Grazia magazine: "I think they’ve got to want to do it, it’s got to be fun. School work always has to come first, but Burberry is a brand that is almost like family.

"I’m friends with Christopher Bailey and it was he who actually said, ‘I’d love it if the kids would do the campaign.’ And it was fun, they enjoyed it."

Victoria Beckham: Salmon keeps my skin healthy

Victoria Beckham eats salmon "every day" to keep her skin healthy.

The 42-year-old fashion designer has admitted that her skin wasn’t always perfect, but her dermatologist told her to try eating the oily fish once a day to help clear her complexion, and since she started she hasn’t looked back.

Speaking to Net-a-Porter’s digital magazine The Edit, she said: "I used to have really problematic skin and he [her dermatologist] said to me, ‘You have to eat salmon every single day,’ I said, ‘Really, every day?’ And he said, ‘Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.’ "

And whilst the former Spice Girl can boast about having perfect skin, she can’t say the same about her wardrobe choices in years gone by, as she has taken the time to reflect on her "fashion mistakes".

She said: "I have made so many fashion mistakes but I actually don’t look at them as mistakes. I celebrate those things. I laugh occasionally but I’m not ashamed of any of that."

Recalling two instances in particular, the mother of four – who has children Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and Harper, five, with husband David Beckham – admits it was a mistake to wear Louboutin heels when she was heavily pregnant.

She said: "At some point I thought it was OK to wear a PVC catsuit. When I was pregnant with Romeo, I walked around Disneyland in Christian Louboutin heels, literally at nine months’ pregnant!"

And the fashion designer also took the time to gush about her retired footballer husband, saying that she wouldn’t be where she was if it wasn’t for the star and his support.

She said: "I couldn’t do any of this if it wasn’t for David; he is such a supportive husband and someone who inspires me so much. His work ethic is incredible, and he is the most fantastic husband and devoted father."

Victoria Beckham is ‘really’ happy

Victoria Beckham is "really, really happy".

The 42-year-old fashion designer – who has children Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and Harper, five, with husband David Beckham – thinks her contentment in her personal and professional life is reflected in her latest collection.

She said: "There’s not one single thing in the collection I wouldn’t wear myself, not one piece.

"I’d say [the collection] was easy and happy. And I guess that’s how I feel.

"I’m really lucky to absolutely love what I do and for things to be going so well and to have such a great family – all those things and I think that’s what you can see in the collection. I’m really, really happy."

The former Spice Girls singer admits she is much more comfortable with herself than she was 20 years ago.

Asked if being older is sexy, she told Britain’s Grazia magazine: "I think so, and I know that I feel happier in my skin now than I did at 20.

"With age comes experience, assuredness and knowledge, all of which are very desirable attributes in a woman."

Victoria is a "girly girl" at heart and loves getting dressed up.

She said: "I think I’m quite a girly girl at heart and I enjoy the whole process of getting dressed up – from choosing an outfit to having my hair and make-up done – I always have. For me, it’s a way of celebrating being a woman."

But backstage at her New York Fashion Week show earlier this month, Victoria was pictured in a simple shirt, slouchy linen trousers and comfortable sandals, a far cry from her usual polished look.

And the designer admits she is always too busy on show days to worry about what she looks like.

She said: "That’s just what I wear to work. There’s just too much going on on the day of the show to get myself all done up, but you’re right, not many people see me dressed like that."

Victoria Beckham moisturises with coconut oil

Victoria Beckham smothers herself in cooking oil to keep her skin super smooth.

Instead of using expensive cosmetic products, the 42-year-old fashion designer says coconut oil which is used to make meals is better than anything on the market for moisturising your body.

Sharing her top three beauty tips in an exclusive interview with UK TV show ‘This Morning’, she said: "Number one I would say coconut oil. So I use coconut oil – the kind of oil that you would cook with – I use it all over my body as well because it’s really, really moisturising, so I would say coconut oil."

Victoria’s other top two tips are eating a "balanced diet" packed with "good fats" such as "avocado, nuts and lots of oily fish" and always taking off your makeup before you go to bed.

The Spice Girls star also revealed her love of fashion and makeup was instilled in her as a child when she used to watch her mother Jackie get ready.

She said: "I’ve been interested in beauty and makeup for as long as I can remember, I remember when I was really young and I was going to school and my mum would get out her lipstick from her bag and put a little bit of her lip on my cheek and she’d tell me that I looked a bit peaky and try to liven me up a little bit, if you like.

"I’ve always loved makeup, I’m very, very girly, I used to sit and watch my mum get ready, my mum is very glamorous and I remember sitting on her bed and watching her apply her makeup, get dressed and do her hair … I like to make the best of what I have, I’m not a supermodel, clearly, I’m not a makeup artist, I’m a real woman."

And now history is repeating itself as Victoria’s five-year-old daughter Harper loves to sit and watch her get ready and play dress up with her clothes.

The label boss – who also has sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 11, with her husband David Beckham – said: "Harper loves beauty! She loves it, I’m very close with all of the children but the great thing about Harper being a little girl, she loves to play with makeup and that’s really great mother and daughter time, she is very, very girly, she also loves to run around in the garden with her brothers and play football but she is very, very feminine and she loves playing with makeup and my clothes as well – she has been able run in [Alia] platforms for a few years right now, she can wear heels like most grown-ups cannot!"

David Beckham steals Victoria’s beauty products

David Beckham steals his wife’s beauty products.

The 42-year-old fashion designer – who has Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old Harper with her husband – has revealed David’s secret to always looking good.

Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, she said: "David does steal my beauty products! It doesn’t annoy me, he looks so beautiful, that no, it doesn’t annoy me."

Meanwhile, the former Spice Girl previously insisted she couldn’t do her job without the support of her husband.

She said: "David [is] so great. I couldn’t do any of this without him. He is very supportive and it means I can come away and work and know he is being the best dad looking after the kids. We work very well together, because David travels a lot and when he travels I am at home. There is always someone there with the children."

And Victoria recently gushed about how David is the "best partner anybody can have".

She added: "David comes to my shows and David is my business partner. Everything we do, we do everything together. We really support each other … He’s the best partner anybody can have.

"I tend not to talk too much about work when I get home because I’ve been working on it all day and there’s so many other things to catch up with regards to the children and what he’s doing."

Victoria’s full interview with ‘This Morning’ will air on Thursday (09.15.16) on ITV.

Victoria Beckham believes in the power of crystals

Victoria Beckham makes her staff carry crystals to emit positive energy.

The Spice Girls star runs her own acclaimed self-titled fashion label and in a bid to keep the success going she keeps healing crystals on her person and hands them out to her team so she is surrounded by good vibes.

She said: "I’m really into crystals. I’m a real positive thinker. I believe in creative visualization – the glass is always half full. I have no time for anything negative. I bought crystals for all my team, so they carry them too."

Victoria – also known as Posh Spice – isn’t the only star to rely on the power of crystals; Adele, Madonna, Miranda Kerr and Sam Smith are also firm believers in their properties.

Sam splashed the cash on the holistic treatment at healers Spellbound Sky in Los Angeles when he was recovering from an operation on his vocal cords and also purchased a "love potion" to help him find a man.

Perhaps Victoria, 42, could hand out the stones to her and husband David Beckham’s kids – Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old Harper – who all have dreams of stardom.

Brooklyn has already tried his hand at photography and done some modeling, Romeo has starred in Burberry campaigns and is tipped to become a catwalk star, Cruz is a budding soccer player and also could be the next Justin Bieber after showcasing his singing talents and Harper will follow her mother into her fashion label.

Although Victoria loves everything about motherhood it is not without its embarrassing moments and the megastar was recently left red-faced at her kids’ sports day.

Recalling the incident on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’, she said: "I was at sports day and I thought, ‘It’s the taking part that counts.’ One of the moms said, ‘We’ll run at the back together.’ Then she steamed ahead! She won and I was at the back."
