David Beckham wants more kids

David Beckham wants "one or two more" children.

The 36-year-old soccer star – who has sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and seven-month-old daughter Harper, with wife Victoria Beckham – admitted while the couple are happy with their current number of kids, they are "always" thinking about expanding their family.

He said: "We might have one more or two more, you never know. We’re not thinking about it yet, but if it happens, great. We’re enjoying the kids as it is. It’s always a thought."

Meanwhile, David explained he is thrilled to have a baby in the house once again, as he is so "great" at changing dirty nappies.

Speaking to British chat show host Jonathan Ross, he added: "I must say that I just love being a dad again. I am great at changing nappies."

Victoria has previously admitted while she "loves" being pregnant, she doesn’t want to miss any moments in her other children’s lives.

She said: "I love being a mum and my children are my priority. The thing is I’m not against having more children. I feel lucky having the kids I have and I guess I do like being pregnant.

"But definitely not just yet. I want to enjoy the kids I’ve got right now. Our entire lives are planned around their lives. We don’t want to miss ­anything in their lives. Ever."

David Beckham ’embarrassed’ by underwear commercial

David Beckham "didn’t know where to look" when his underwear commercial was aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday night (05.02.12).

The soccer star appears in just his underpants in the advert for his underwear collection for H&M and he admits he got embarrassed when it came on the TV during the NFL showpiece game.

David – who has four children, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, Cruz, six, and seven-month-old Harper, with fashion designer wife Victoria – said: "I’m very shy. When we were watching the Super Bowl yesterday in a room of about 20 people and it came on and I actually didn’t know where to look. It was kind of embarrassing.

"The kids loved it but they were also embarrassed as well because there was other people in the room."

While he was embarrassed about seeing his almost-naked body on the screen, David admits he felt more confident shooting the commercial.

He told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show: "Shooting it, there wasn’t too many people in the room so it was pretty easy."

The handsome athlete – who has previously appeared in underwear commercials for Armani – is very proud of the collection and loved working with the Swedish high street store.

He said: "It was something I created before H&M came in, something I wanted to do after the success of Armani.

"I love underwear, I love wearing it so it was something I just wanted to kind of create myself."

David Beckham named ‘Sexiest Man on the Planet’

David Beckham has been crowned "The Sexiest Man on the Planet 2012".

The soccer superstar has been awarded the title in heat magazine’s inaugural 101 Hottest Hunks in the World list 2012.

David – who raises four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, with his wife Victoria Beckham – beat a host of famous hunks to the top spot, including Ryan Gosling,

Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper, who came second, third and fourth respectively.

Speaking about David’s victory, heat editor Lucie Cave said: "heat is known for showcasing the hottest celebrity men each week, but this is the first time we’ve compiled a definitive list of the sexiest men in the world. Our readers and panel of experts clearly have impeccable taste as there is genuinely no one more deserving of the title Sexiest Man on the Planet 2012 than David Beckham. He’s got the lot – talent, style, sex appeal, charisma. Women adore him, men want to be him, and we’re absolutely thrilled that he has topped our poll."

Other heartthrobs to make the top 10 include Robert Pattinson, Tom Hardy, Johnny Depp and Zac Efron.

The top 25 was compiled by counting the online votes of 1,000 heat readers and the choices of an expert panel comprised of Premier Models founder Carole White, celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston; and Heat Style Editor Jo Hoare.

Each guy was judged on talent, sex appeal, dress sense, and personality.

The results from 26-101 are based solely upon the votes cast on the survey on www.heatworld.com.

The full list will appear in this week’s issue of heat on sale on Tuesday (31.01.12).

David Beckham visits sick Australian kids

David Beckham has visited sick children in an Australian hospital.

The British soccer star – who last week spent time with underprivileged youngsters in the Philippines – took a trip to the Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital, where he spent an hour visiting young patients and their families. 

Among those he met was 19-month-old Allegra Fewson-Ward, who is suffering from a bone infection, and her mother Jackie admitted she was hoping he had a "healing kiss". 

She said: "I hope it helps with her healing, maybe he’s got the healing kiss. I don’t think she’ll remember but certainly we’ll keep reminding her of it." 

The Los Angeles Galaxy player – who was in the country to play against soccer team Melbourne Victory – also met with doctors, one of whom was wearing an England shirt from the 1990s which he asked the sportsman to sign. 

Commenting on the visit, David admitted it was a "good trip" and he was glad to put a "smile" on the faces of the children.

He told NineMSN: "It’s one of the best things I love to do. I’m an ambassador for UNICEF and me and my wife have our own charities as well. Going to see the kids, going to see their smiles, giving them a smile, it’s something that I do believe heals and gives them that little bit of happiness. It was a good trip. 

"It’s heart-wrenching. I don’t know how the parents do it at times. It’s an amazing hospital, it’s beautiful. They’re doing such great things, it’s really incredible."

David Beckham has a passion for fashion

Soccer star David Beckham admits that while he never expected to become a designer, he’s become quite passionate about his role as a fashion icon through sponsors like Adidas, reports This is London.

"It’s something that had you said 10 years ago I’d be involved in the fashion side, I’d have said ‘no chance’ but now I enjoy it, it’s something I’m passionate about, when you see the product and it’s as good as it is, you get excited about it," Beckham explained.

"It’s something I’ve become interested in over the last five years. My career has been solely about playing and always will be until I stop but I’m lucky enough to have sponsors like Adidas and other things I’ve ventured into with the fashion side."

No doubt much of the success is due to a strong relationship with designer James Bond, whom he works alongside on his Adidas Originals line: "We’ve been doing it for a couple of years, me and James now, I’ve known him a lot longer than that and the collaboration has been so successful in the interest we’ve had, the sales we’ve had and the product," the soccer star explained in a video posted on the website Hypebeast.

"It’s the best I’ve ever seen sports-wise and lifestyle – you can train in the stuff and work out in it and go out in the evening, people love it. We’ve a good relationship and we’re going to continue to have a great relationship but most importantly we’re going to continue to bring great stuff out."

Nobody does bodywear like Beckham

Ambitious 36-year-old David Beckham has triumphed over the soccer field – and now plans to conquer the fashion world – with an equally ambitious line called David Beckham Bodywear.

Beckham recently gave details of the new venture to US Weekly: "Over the past year, I’ve been developing my bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced.”

"The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally," he continued. "In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward, and I’m excited and looking forward to showcasing the range to H&M customers."

The famous footballer, father of four and husband to Victoria Beckham adds his bodywear collection to a growing list of David Beckham-branded items, including the fragrances Instinct, Intimately Yours and the new Homme. He’s also held countless endorsement deals over the years, with the likes of Pepsi, Pepe Jeans, EA Sports, Vodaphone, Gilette and Police.

The David Beckham Bodywear line will be available in 1,800 stores over 40 countries worldwide beginning February 2012. Beckham’s longtime business partner, Simon Fuller, has stated that this line is critical for his friend and that it will further "the evolution of David’s journey from sporting hero to entrepreneur and icon."

David Beckham’s sexy fragrance ad

Sensuality and seduction are the focus of a brand new, smoldering ad created for David Beckham’s forthcoming male fragrance, Homme.

The famous footballer – husband to Victoria Beckham and father of four – has partnered with Coty Beauty to launch this new fragrance available this fall.

The print campaign was photographed by Alasdair Mclellen and has zeroed in on Beckham’s sex appeal and good looks.

”I wanted to create a modern, masculine fragrance that reflects my style,” said Beckham of Homme.

Steve Mormoris, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for Coty Beauty, elaborated on the partnership: "David Beckham Homme is a strategic launch for us and represents a key new orientation for the David Beckham fragrance brand — getting back to the male roots of the brand, enhancing David as an athlete and an aspirational man.”

Homme is composed of notes of ginger, pepper, pine and fire, with heart notes of cashmere wood, leather, rosemary, mahogany wood, patchouli and musk.

Beckham’s other current endorsements include Emporio Armani, Adidas, Diet Pepsi, Yahoo, Castrol, Motorola and Police. His new Brand Beckham logo is reportedly used in collaboration with all endorsement deals.

Homme hits shelves in September 2011 as a 30 and 50 mL Eau de Toilette, along with accompanying body care products.

A corresponding television ad for the fragrance is also in the works.

Victoria Beckham has short maternity leave

Victoria Beckham, 37, who gave birth to daughter Harper Seven by c-section last Sunday, July 10, won’t be able to enjoy a lengthy maternity leave as her latest fashion collection will launch at New York Fashion Week in September.

Near the end of her pregnancy, Victoria was tired and couldn’t wait to have the baby, an insider told People. “She was saying, ‘I just want her to get here and want to be holding her in my arms – not in my belly.’”

“She had not been all that tired until the end,” the source added, “When it is just so hard to be active so pregnant.”

The busy mother and businesswoman was fully prepared for the July 10 arrival of her daughter, said the insider.

“She was so excited and really just ready for the baby. She [had] been working really hard to get as much done as possible before Harper’s arrival. She was unsure of how she would manage time and schedule after [Harper] arrived."

The style icon left the hospital a day earlier than expected on July 12, and couldn’t wait to take the baby home to be with daddy David, 36, and big brothers Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, reports the Daily Star.

The mother of four has cleared her busy schedule for the next couple of months to relax at home and enjoy the new baby.

Brand it like Beckham

International soccer star David Beckham recently announced he is developing his own line of underwear, and a new fragrance, reports WWD.

After years of speculation, Beckham finally confirmed plans to launch his own line of bodywear, and a new fragrance with the help of his business partner Simon Fuller.

“I have had the idea of doing a bodywear collection for some time now,” Beckham told WWD. “The push to do something of my own really came as a result of my collaboration with Armani.”

According to the handsome athlete and father of three – with another on the way – his Armani campaign helped boost sales from $22.7 million to 43.9 million in 2008, and proved to the star “that there is a real market for good-looking, well-made men’s bodywear.”

Planning to focus on well-cut T-shirts and fitted boxer shorts, Beckham said,“It’s not my natural inclination to see myself as a brand, I’m just a person who has been fortunate to explore other interests and passions outside of the game I love.”

“I will always be associated with my sport but I am now working across other areas that will continue long after my career has finished.”

Beckham added he has already completed some design and merchandising work on the line, “I can’t wait to show people the collection — although I’m not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again.”

Beckham’s new fragrance Homme by David Beckham will launch in September, however the bodywear launch date is still unknown.

David Beckham and son involved in car accident

Soccer star David Beckham was involved in a car accident last Friday morning (May 6) on Highway 405 in California, reports Us magazine.

Beckham, 36, was driving with his 12-year-old son Brooklyn, when he rear-ended a stalled vehicle in the carpool lane near Torrence, California, law enforcement officials told TMZ.

Although Beckham and his son were not injured, the other driver, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time, was taken to hospital for medical attention.

Fortunately, Victoria Beckham, who is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, was not in the car at the time.

Last week, the couple was listed as one of the richest in the world. They earned more than $30 million last year, thanks mainly to the success of Victoria’s fashion collection. She also recently signed a contract worth millions with British carmaker Range Rover.

The former Spice Girl is not the only one contributing to family income. David Beckham received more than $90 million over the past two years to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team, in addition to recently signing a contract worth millions as Samsung global brand ambassador for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
