David Beckham and Snoop Dogg to design kids’ clothes

Soccer all-star David Beckham may soon follow his wife into the realm of fashion design, reports the Daily Mirror.

While wife Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham designs high-end haute couture, Beckham will be partnering with rap artist Snoop Dogg to create a new line of children’s clothing, as he awaits the birth of his fourth child.

"I’d love to do a Babygro range and baby house shoes with Beckham," said Dogg, who plans to meet with the all-star athlete in July. "It’s going to be fly. It’s great news they are having a baby."

The unlikely partners first met in 2008, when Beckham made an appearance on Dogg’s show Fatherhood. The rapper and soccer star have been close friends ever since.

"Whenever I make a record I give him a copy before it’s done. He’s like a brother. I’m gonna show him to rap, for shizzle. He’s my boy. I love soccer just as he loves hip-hop. Beckham needs to keep doing what he’s doing, he’s a great father," enthused the rap star.

According to Dogg, the Beckhams, already parents of three sons, have him to thank for their newest bundle of joy.

"I said that after their 11th anniversary they should have some more kids and romance to some Snoop tunes," Dogg revealed. "Now he’s having a beautiful girl to play with my daughter Chocolate."

David Beckham loses $25 million U.S. lawsuit

Soccer star David Beckham, 35, plans to continue fighting his legal battle against gossip magazine In Touch and prostitute Irma Nici, after a U.S. judge has dismissed his lawsuit, reports Thisislondon.co.uk.

Last year, Beckham filed lawsuits in Germany and the U.S. against the magazine after they published an article alleging he cheated on his wife with prostitute, Irma Nici. Beckham claimed the magazine was guilty of libel, slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Under oath, the soccer star swore that he had “never met Nici, let alone committed adultery or paid her for sex.” However, the Bauer Publishing Company claims they took Nici at her word, and attempted to verify her story as best they could. The judge ruled that Beckham’s story fell under “public interest,” and that Beckham’s legal team failed to prove that the magazine acted with malice.

Beckham’s lawyer, Richard Kendall, argued that the magazine did not verify their source’s information, and that the magzine’s reporting was reckless. Court documents show the athlete was visiting his sick father in London during one of the alleged encounters with the prostitute, Irma Nici.

"Bauer do not dispute for purposes of this motion that their story is false," publicist Jeff Raymond said. "They have not provided one shred of evidence to support the claim this story is true. David Beckham’s clear evidence proved that this is without foundation."

"We have already won a court ruling in Germany and are awaiting damages," said Raymond. "Unfortunately, the U.S. legal system requires us to show that the magazine acted maliciously. Any knowledgeable person knows this story not to be true, and we will continue to fight this in court and the decision will be appealed."

Beckham is married to former Spice Girl, Victoria, 36; they have three sons and are expecting their fourth child this summer.

Victoria Beckham says baby’s gender unknown

Fashion designer and former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, 36, who is pregnant with her fourth child, has spoken out against rumours that she is expecting a girl, reports People.

Earlier this month, British newspaper the Sun published a story that Victoria had an ultrasound and was told that she was expecting a girl.

Mama Beckham put the rumours to rest at her New York fashion show this month, saying, “I can go on the record and say contrary to rumours, I do not know the sex of my baby!"

She and husband,  soccer star David Beckham, 35, are the parents of three boys, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5 years. The fashionista found out she was pregnant in November, and told the children on Christmas day about a special present they would be receiving in the summer.

The couple haven’t decided if they’re going to find out the baby’s gender in advance. A little girl would finally provide Beckham with a mini-me fashionista, but she says they just "feel so lucky and so blessed" to be expanding their family.

"We know what to do with boys," she says of her three sons. "They’re excited about having a little brother to teach how to play soccer. … But, if it’s a girl, we’d be over the moon as well."

David Beckham cries tears of joy over Posh’s pregnancy

Soccer star David Beckham, 35, was overwhelmed with emotion, crying tears of joy after his wife, Victoria, 36, told him she was pregnant with their fourth child, reports Music-News.

The former Spice Girl learned she was pregnant during a trip to England last November, and surprised Beckham by organizing a romantic meal at home to tell him they were going to have a little brother or sister for Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5.

A source said: “She started a conversation about their future as a family and whether it should be in the UK or US. But when he said they have three children to think about, she smiled and said ‘four.’

“David just beamed at her and welled up. He’s an emotional guy and it was very overwhelming for him. He told her he couldn’t have wished for better news. He’s so happy, he can’t stop crying!”

Victoria announced her pregnancy to her children on Christmas Day, again bringing tears to David’s eyes.

“It was magical,” the source added. “Victoria told them mummy had an extra-special present but they would have to wait for it. Then she told them they could expect another brother or sister.

“David welled up again while the kids were screaming and running around. It was the best Christmas present they could have had as a family, and it was a very emotional day.”

The Beckhams have asked friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay to be the godparents of their fourth child. A source said: “The Ramsays were delighted and honoured to be asked. For all his foibles, Gordon is a great dad and Victoria loves Tana like a sister.”

Beckhams expecting baby no. 4

Yesterday (January 9), David and Victoria Beckham announced that they are expecting their fourth child, reports People.

"David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to confirm they are expecting their fourth child in the summer," their rep told the magazine. "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are very excited about the arrival of their new brother or sister."

The famous English couple admitted that it was a pretty full household with three sons ages, 11, 8, and 5, but hinted last year that they were open to the idea of having another child.

“I think one day, if we’re blessed to have more children, it would be amazing," Victoria, 36, said last year when asked about additional kids with her soccer star husband. "It’s a lot having three boys … But who knows, one day?"

The couple’s business partner and mentor, Simon Fuller, creator of the Idol franchise, was the first to congratulate the couple.

"I’m absolutely thrilled for them," Fuller said. "Family means everything to David and Victoria and this is simply the best news they and the boys could have wished for at the start of 2011."

Victoria Beckham uncertain about menswear

British designer Victoria Beckham, 36, continues to make her way in the world of women’s fashion but says, for the moment, she’s not ready to start designing for men, reports Coco Perez.

“I’m not really interested, for now, to create clothes for men,” said Posh. The ex-Spice Girl and better half to soccer star David Beckham is uncertain about how she would even begin.

“How on earth, as a male, do you design dresses for women? Because how I work is I actually put the dresses on myself. And I won’t disclose any of their answers but quite a few of my male friends have actually said they do put the dresses on themselves.”

If she were to create a collection for men, she could always ask her husband to be her model – word is he’ll be promoting his own line of underwear soon.

Meanwhile, Beckham continues to dress many female stars with her fashions. Last September, she launched her fifth collection of ready-to-wear for spring 2011, as well as her first line of handbags.

David Beckham’s underwear for sale

Handsome soccer star David Beckham, who has been the face (and body) for several Armani underwear ad campaigns since 2007, has decided to launch his own line of underwear, reports the Daily News.

When Beckham stripped down for his Armani ads, sales went through the roof, climbing as much as 30 per cent according to some sources.

“It was decided not to renew the Armani contract and develop a business of David’s own. He has seen how fulfilling it has been for Victoria to branch out into business and relishes a similar challenge,” said a source.

The new venture will be backed by Simon Fuller and Alasdhair Willis, husband of designer Stella McCartney, sources told MTV.

If the underwear collection is successful, Beckham plans to expand operations with his own line of grooming products and moisturizers.

Beckham, 35, is also reported to be branching out into the television world. The Daily Mirror reported that Saturday Night Live has offered the Galaxy star a guest spot on the show.

Romeo Beckham gets designer genes from Posh

 

With the support of his parents, eight year old Romeo Beckham, middle child of David and Victoria Beckham, has signed an agreement to create a collection of sunglasses for children, according to a report from Thisislondon.co.uk.

“Romeo has a real eye for fashion. He has strong opinions on what works and what doesn’t, and has been badgering David and Victoria for months about designing his own sunglasses. It is no passing whim – Victoria said she’d only back the project if he was certain he wanted to do it,” revealed a family friend.

To promote his collection, Romeo might call upon his young celebrity friends, including Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Leni, daughter of supermodel Heidi Klum, and TV chef Gordon Ramsay’s four children.

 

Singer-turned-fashion designer mom, Victoria, and soccer star dad, David, also have two other sons, Brooklyn, aged 11, and Cruz, 5.

 

The source added: "The glasses are made especially for children and will have a cool ‘RB’ motif on one arm. The range was originally going to be called Bambino Beckham. Both Victoria and David are delighted."

The Beckhams heat up new ad

David and Victoria Beckham are more passionate than ever in the new ad campaign promoting their new fragrance named Intimately Beckham Yours, reports Thisislondon.co.uk.

Pictures of the ad campaign have been released and show the Beckhams getting down and dirty in an elevator.

More clothes come off as the ad continues to the point where Victoria Beckham appears to be completely naked. As the ad wraps up "David is seen looking shocked and wiping lipstick from his mouth as Victoria stares suggestively at the camera."

This is not the first ad campaign starring the famous couple but this is, by far, the most passionate and most daring to date.

In an ad for their Spring/Summer 2010 fragrance, called Beckham Signature, the couple played the sensuality card.

Soccer star David Beckham is getting ready to launch a men’s clothing collection in collaboration with his wife’s VB fashion line.
 
It apparently took a bit of arm twisting for Victoria Beckham to convince her hubby to get involved. A source says: "Victoria has been trying to persuade him to do it for a while and he’s finally succumbed. She has reassured him that he has an eye for fashion."
 
The source also added: "David is hoping to produce an entire range of men’s couture clothing of fitted suits, smart day wear and an evening range."
 
Victoria Beckham is making quite a name for herself in the fashion world. There was some talk in the spring that singing superstar Beyoncé asked Beckham to design her stage costumes. At the time, it was reported that Beyoncé appreciated Victoria Beckham’s style and elegant creations.
