No Ad Campaign for Beckham and Jolie

In an interview with Extra, soccer player David Beckham denied that he is making an underwear ad campaign with Angelina Jolie.

The British press reported that the American actress signed with Emporio Armani, and that she would be appearing in the fall/winter ad campaign for Armani underwear with Beckham.

Beckman said, "I don’t think that’s true! I definitely don’t think that’s true." He also added that he would not do a steamy underwear ad, because he is married and Jolie is also in a relationship.

"She’s an amazing person and so is Brad Pitt.  They’ve got an incredible couple – they’ve got an amazing family. You know she wouldn’t do it and I wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t do it because I’m married," Beckham explained.

Jolie To Pose With Beckham

According to FemaleFirst, the actress has signed a deal with Emporio Armani. The Italian fashion house is pleased that Jolie is teaming with the soccer star to pose for several ads.
 
Management at Armani has ensured that the advertisements will not be too risqué to protect Jolie and Beckham’s families.
 
A source stated, "The two are exceptionally beautiful on camera but both are in committed relationships so the advert would have to be sexy without offending their partners."

Coty Collaborates With The Stars

The cosmetic group has four new fragrances that will be released in the next few months and each one is a collaboration with a celebrity. “We stick with what works,” said Coty’s spokesperson to CosmeticNews.

Country singer Tim McGraw will release his second fragrance, Southern Blend, in August intended only for the U.S. market. The fragrance was created by Richard Herpin of Firmenich and will cost about thirty dollars.

Faith Hill, Tim McGraw’s wife, will also release her perfume in October, but no further details have been given.

In September, model Kate Moss will release Vintage, her third perfum with fruity and oriental notes created by Olivier Polge.

Finally, Victoria and David Beckahm will release a fragrance for men and women called Signature Story.

Victoria Beckham Is Bored In France

The soccer star and former Spice Girl bought the 19th century villa in Var, France six years ago, reports FemaleFirst.
 
After having spent several vacations there with their three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, the couple are now finding that they are bored because there is not alot of chic restaurants and cool clubs.
 
The family is currently staying there for a short vacation, but the two stars will decide when they return to America if they will sell the property.
 
A source said, "They fell in love with the place when they first saw it but now Victoria thinks it’s too far away from the action."

Victoria Beckham Changes Her Image

FemaleFirst reports that the former Spice Girl was tired of her breast implants and had them changed from 34DD to 34B.
 
The operation is part of a new image for the star, who is married to soccer player David Beckham, and wants to revamp her image from a soccer player’s wife to a more fashionable one.
 
A source said, "Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old image." The source added, "She had the operation three weeks ago and is very pleased with the results. After the procedure she came to London for business then went to France to heal properly in private."

Victory for the Beckhams

Abbie Gibson, who took care of the Beckhams’ kids from May 2003 until March 2005, will have to publicly apologise to the celebrity couple for spilling details about them in an article titled, Beckhams Behind Closed Doors in News of the World in April 2005.

The decision was made on Tuesday (June 16) by a London Superior Court judge, who believes that Gibson violated the Beckhams’ privacy by dishing about their everyday lives.

The nanny had spoken to the media, revealing that the former Spice Girl was about to break up with her soccer player husband when she was seven months pregnant with their third child.

Concerning the telephone threats that Gibson accused David of making, the woman’s attorney declared, "Ms. Gibson is happy to confirm that David Beckham did not at any stage make any such telephone calls to her."

Beckham could be putting her career aside while she and her husband, David, try to conceive their fourth child, reports FemaleFirst.

The couple is desperately hoping to have a girl this time, after having three boys, Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 4.

The soccer player stated, "I really want more kids and I hope it happens soon. I want a little girl. That would be amazing."

David Beckham unveiled the fall/winter Emporio Armani underwear at Selfridge’s in London yesterday. 

The Italian celebrity designer says of Beckham, “David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country.”

Akon to Perform at 2010 World Cup

Singer Akon, who is quite established as an international artist, was chosen to arrange the official theme song for the 2010 World Cup soccer competition.

Akon, originally from Senegal, was approached by FIFA to become the musical director of the event, which will take place in South Africa in June next year. He will be opening the ceremony with his composition.

"I’ve been hired as musical director for the World Cup," the singer said. "I will be overseeing the World Cup anthem and music at the ceremonies and I’m off to South Africa this week for meetings. I love soccer, so it’s a great honour," he added.

Even though he is friends with British soccer star David Beckham, Akon admitted that he’ll be rooting for his own country in the games.

Soccer star David Beckham categorically denies the allegations that he had an extramarital affair with Mariann Fogarasy, a Hungarian model.

The paparazzi took photos of the star having an intimate candlelight dinner with Fogarasy just before a soccer match in Budapest.

However, Beckham claims that he loves his wife, Victoria, too much to even fathom cheating on her. "I have no desire for other women. I only love Victoria. Ninety percent of what is written about us is invented. The last one was this story about the Hungarian model. I have never been out to dinner with this young lady," said Beckham.
