David Beckham relies on face masks to stay young

David Beckham loves to wear the "occasional face mask".

The retired soccer star has revealed he uses the skin care treatment to protect his enviably handsome appearance, admitting it makes him "feel nice."

David shared: "One thing I do love is a face mask. Which I do in private, and definitely don’t put on Instagram!

"You know, getting in bed, putting the telly on, and putting a face mask on. When you’ve had a rough day, it makes you feel nice."

David – who has sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12, as well as daughter Harper Seven, six, with his wife Victoria – explained that due to his parenting commitments, he isn’t able to spend lots of time grooming himself in the morning.

As a result, David has a very simple approach to his beauty regimen.

He told the American edition of Esquire magazine: "I haven’t got an hour to spend in the morning on my complexion. I have four kids. I want it simple. I get up, shower, sometimes cleanse depending on what I did the night before.

"I moisturise always; I use some eye cream and some hand cream. Hair, I just get out of the shower and brush some product in. I do like a thickening shampoo. When you get to a certain age, it can help. None of this is groundbreaking, but it’s the essentials: exactly what you need. I take moisturiser with me everywhere. I use it mornings, afternoons, evenings."

David, 42, has created a new men’s grooming line of his own called House 99.

And he’s revealed he relies on some of his own products to keep his beard in tip-top condition.

The London-born star explained: "I take moisturiser with me everywhere. I use it mornings, afternoons, evenings. And I wanted beard oil in the range, because I’ve always got a bit of scruff.

"I remember Victoria turning to me one day and saying, ‘Your beard is really rough, and it doesn’t smell so good.’ And I’m a clean person!

"So this oil softens the beard and smells great. I’m most proud of the tattoo body moisturiser. I have one or two tattoos – just one or two – and I like them to look good."

The Vamps want Cruz Beckham duet

The Vamps want to collaborate with Cruz Beckham.

The ‘Can We Dance’ hitmakers – comprising James McVey, Brad Simpson, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans – are friends with the aspiring singer’s older brother, Brooklyn Beckham, and have told the ‘If Every Day was Christmas’ singer they will be on hand if he needs help or advice, not to mention a studio session together.

Asked if they would mentor 11-year-old Cruz, James said: "That would be great I said to him in the past it would be good to do stuff.

"I think it’s cool that he is really working on it. I’ve seen a few things on his Instagram and he’s really good.

"It’s nice that he is playing the guitar from the start and I really admire that. I think it’s definitely someone to watch for the future. I’d love to do some stuff with him."

But The Vamps aren’t the only people who want to help Cruz, as Simon Cowell has previously admitted he’d love to sign the youngster to his record label.

He said: "Get him in and we’ll sign him.

"I met them when they were younger and I have to say they are really incredible kids.

"They could have been really spoilt but they weren’t – they were really funny when they came down to one of the shows.

"I know the Beckhams get criticised for being in the public eye but if you’re in the public eye your kids are going to be too."

Fashion designer Victoria, 42, has expressed her pride in her children, saying that they are "hard-working" and that she couldn’t ask for more.

She said: "You don’t have a rule book when you have a child. You just do the best that you can and I think the kids are doing a pretty good job.

"They’re well-mannered, hard-working, they’re fun and they’re happy kids. So what more can you ask for?"

Brooklyn Beckham’s tattoo tribute

Brooklyn Beckham’s latest tattoo is a tribute to his siblings.

The 18-year-old star – who has brothers Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12, and six-year-old sister Harper – has taken to Instagram to show off his latest inking, the numbers "02 05 11", which are believed to refer to his family’s birth years.

While the photography student didn’t caption the snap with anything, he tagged his tattoo artist, Mr. K, of New York City tattoo parlour Bang Bang.

But eagle-eyed fans were quick to speculate that his inking could refer to his siblings’ birth years because Romeo was born in 2002, Cruz in 2005 and Harper in 2011.

It’s not the first time Brooklyn has been inked. The son of David and Victoria Beckham had a compass etched onto his lower left arm earlier this year.

He shared a picture of the tat and tagged the renowned artist Dr Woo, simply writing: "Thanks mate."

Brooklyn had two tattoos done shortly after he turned 18 in March.

In April, Brooklyn got his first inking, an image of a Native American chief, inscribed onto his forearm at the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood, by the legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney.

Brooklyn wrote: "Honoured to have my first tattoo done by dads friend Mark Mahoney(sic)", and added: "Thank you so much Mark x just like dads.(sic)"

He also has a camera inked on his upper left arm, a nod to his passion of photography.

While Brooklyn’s father David has tattoos over a lot of his body, the former footballer is "sure" his son will regret some of his inkings.

He recently said: "Thankfully I don’t feel I’ve made any with my tattoos. My son’s started and I’m sure he’ll make mistakes. But it’s part and parcel of life and being creative. That’s something you can’t stop someone doing, it holds them back."

Victoria Beckham dresses up as turkey for Thanksgiving

Victoria Beckham celebrated by Thanksgiving by dressing up as a turkey.

The 43-year-old star got into the holiday spirit yesterday (23.11.17) by taking to Instagram Stories to show off a snap of herself wearing a feathered bodysuit, which may have been Photoshopped, while lying on the floor.

She captioned the image: "Happy Thanksgiving! Kisses (sic)"

Earlier this year, Victoria – who has four kids, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper with husband David Beckham, 42 – admitted she was thankful she wasn’t met with harsh criticism when she launched her first fashion collection in 2008.

She said: "I’ve got a pretty thick skin. It could have been worse. They could have said, ‘We thought it was going to be rubbish, and it is.’

"Instead, they thought it was really good, and I look at that as a positive. I look at everything as a positive, to be honest with you."

What’s more, Victoria recently admitted her daughter Harper is particularly thankful for her life.

During a joint interview with her friend Eva Longoria, she said: "Harper knows that Mummy and Daddy, and Auntie Eva do things to help other people, and she wants to do that as well.

"She understands, even at six, that she is very blessed. She’s very lucky to have what she has."

In 2015, Kim Kardashian West shared a Thanksgiving throwback photograph on her Instagram account of herself dressed up as Victoria when the singer was in the Spice Girls, during which time she was dubbed Posh Spice.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star wrote: "I’m also thankful for Posh Spice!#HighSchoolTalentShow (sic)"

Victoria Beckham: Spice Girls reunion won’t happen any time soon

Victoria Beckham won’t be squeezing herself into a PVC catsuit for a Spice Girls reunion "any time soon".

The artist formerly known as Posh Spice and Mel C refused to take part in a reunion with the other three members, Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut single ‘Wannabe’ and first album ‘Spice’, scuppering plans for new music and a massive concert in Hyde Park in London.

In the last few years Victoria, 43, has established herself as one of the leading lights of the fashion world with her eponymous label and she is content to leave her girl group days in the past.

Speaking about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion in an interview on ‘This Morning’, she said: "It’s not happening. At some point you have to know that was great … Girl power is still out there, and I still believe in it. But I won’t be slipping into a PVC catsuit any time soon."

When interviewer Alison Hammond cheekily responded, "Just in the bedroom!" Victoria – who is married to David Beckham – replied: "You said that and not me!"

Victoria gave a joint interview with Eva Longoria to the UK TV show to talk about the Global Gift Gala charity event that the former ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress hosted in London at the weekend.

The fashion designer always helps her friend with the Gala and she insists she and David, 42, try and instill philanthropic ideals in their four kids, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper.

Victoria said: "Harper knows that Mummy and Daddy, and Auntie Eva do things to help other people, and she wants to do that as well. She understands, even at six, that she is very blessed. She’s very lucky to have what she has."

Talking about the working mum guilt she feels on occasions, she added: "I think as a parent you’re constantly questioning, ‘Am I doing the right thing?’ You know, we’re tough on ourselves, especially when you’re a working mum, you’re very tough on yourself. So when you see that your kids are turning out to be really good, kind, happy human beings, you know, what more could you ask for really?"

Eva added: "She’s the sweetest, most loyal person you could have in your life."

The 8th annual Global Gift Gala London saw a whole host of stars from the world of music, fashion and television join together to raise funds and make a difference to the lives of children and women around the world.

The event took place on Saturday (11.18.17) at the Corinthia Hotel and was compered by British TV star Konnie Huq and guests included Dame Joan Collins, Ore Oduba and Ronan Keating among others.

This year, organizations set to benefit from the gala include The Global Gift Foundation, The Eva Longoria Foundation – which focuses on women’s education and entrepreneurship – and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, which helps fund the hospital’s most urgent needs and supports seriously ill children treated at the hospital.

Victoria helped raise $25,000 by taking off her ‘Victoria Beckham Dorothy Pump’ shoes and earrings that she was wearing and putting them up for auction, along with her matching clutch bag.

David Beckham treats Brooklyn to reunion pizza

David Beckham treated his son Brooklyn to "the best pizza" in New York City on Wednesday (08.11.17).

The 42-year-old retired footballer reunited with his eldest lad, 18, who is studying photography in the Big Apple, and admitted he has "missed" being around the teenager all the time.

He shared a selfie with Brooklyn on his Instagram Stories, on which he wrote: "I’ve missed this face," and drew an arrow pointing to his boy.

David also posted a picture of the pair embracing while wearing matching coats at New York City pizzeria Lucali.

He added the caption: "Just relaxing after eating the best pizza in NYC @lucali_bk .. We don’t look happy at all lol (sic)"

In the comments, David’s wife Victoria Beckham – who also has kids Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six, with the former England captain – wrote: "I miss u!! Wish I was there too!! X kisses!! (sic)"

In another Instagram Story post, he shared pictures of several glasses of red wine at the restaurant.

David’s reunion with Brooklyn comes just days after he admitted being "concerned" about Brooklyn heading to university overseas.

He said: "When you have children – young children and older children going to university in America – you are of course concerned and worried."

The former footballer also admitted to being nervous about how the current political climate will impact his children.

He said: "What are their lives going to be like? That’s my main concern."

Victoria has previously revealed she got emotional after Brooklyn headed to New York.

She said: "I’m still crying, Brooklyn’s moved to New York, he’s 18, and I haven’t stopped crying. I miss him so much, so much."

Victoria Beckham remembers ‘inappropriate’ Spice Girls outfits

Victoria Beckham thinks she sometimes dressed and looked "inappropriate" in the Spice Girls.

The 43-year-old fashion designer admits she made some questionable sartorial choices in her teenage years but she wasn’t allowed to wear anything too sexy or revealing.

However, when she became Posh Spice – one fifth of the globe conquering girl group along with Mel B, Geri Horner, Mel C and Emma Bunton – her outfits got more and more revealing on stage and for their videos.

Speaking in the new issue of Vogue magazine, she said: "Did I have a perm that was slightly distasteful? Yes. Did I wear strange jeans? Yes.

"Did I look inappropriate ever? Not until the Spice Girls. My Mom would never let me go out dressed like that."

Victoria used to use empty Chanel bottles that she thought were "glamorous and luxurious" to decorate her teenage bedroom because she wasn’t allowed to put posters up, a rule she passed on to her and husband David’s own children, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and six-year-old Harper.

She said: "My dad worked really hard to have the money for us to have a nice house, so Mom would not let us put posters up and I wouldn’t let my kids stick posters up. If they must have a football (soccer) shirt, then we will get it framed and put in on the wall nicely."

And the ‘Stop’ singer has tried to inspire and encourage her children in the same way her parents used to motivate her.

She said: "My family brought me up telling me I could achieve absolutely anything. Whenever I said I can’t do it, my dad, he just wouldn’t hear it. He’d say, ‘What do you mean you can’t do it? Why? Why?’ And I do that to my own children as well."

Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham ‘chose’ each other

Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham "chose each other".

The 20-year-old actress recently reconciled with the aspiring photographer, and though it had been over a year since they split, the ‘Carrie’ actress insists it did’t feel like any time had passed when they got back together.

She told Us Weekly magazine: "I think we chose each other. It’s been years now off and on and it’s just one of those things, you come back and it’s like no time spent away from each other at all.

"I think that’s the most important thing and you’re lives are an open book. We like to have our own little private world and I think that’s important for both of us."

And Chloe admitted she likes to "steal" her "adorable" boyfriend’s clothes – but he swipes her beauty products.

She admitted: "We share a lot, well I share a lot of his clothes. Well, I steal a lot of his clothing. That’s more the realistic thing here.

"I think he’s adorable. I give him good facial products and I take his jackets!

"So he steals my facial products, I give him a good facial regime and I get to wear the jackets."

The ‘If I Stay’ actress doesn’t care what they do on their date nights, just so long as they’re together.

Asked her favourite date night, she said: "Just he and I together. Don’t need much more than each other’s company whenever we can grab it."

Chloe gets along "very, very well" with 18-year-old Brooklyn’s famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham, but she admitted she was in awe of the former Spice Girls singer when they first met.

She gushed about the 43-year-old fashion designer: "I think if anyone didn’t say that when they met her, that would be shocking.

"I think she’s one of the most incredible, important, smart, sophisticated businesswomen and mothers that I’ve ever met. She’s a real heart and a real beautiful person."

Lapland UK creators reveal Harper Beckham’s favourite elves

David and Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper Beckham is obsessed with Lapland UK’s Elves Okey and Dokey, the attraction’s co-creator Alison Battle has revealed.

Alison and her husband Mike decided to create the amazing interactive Christmas experience which lets kids meet Father Christmas after being left disappointed by the countless meetings with Santa Claus they’d had with their four sons, Michael, Matthew, Joseph and Christian, when they were younger.

Lapland UK is visited by a host of celebrities and their children each year with The Beckhams coming with their kids the past two Yule Tides, Sir Paul McCartney visiting with his daughter Beatrice, now 14, in the past and Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish coming with their two sons, Zachary, six, and Elijah, four, for the last five years.

When children visit they get to interact with Santa’s Elves, including Conker, Wish and Dough among many more, but six-year-old Harper is in love with Okey and Dokey who are played by Alison and Mike’s identical twin sons.

Speaking to Lisa Snowdon at the launch of their new book ‘The Untold Story of Father Christmas’ and to celebrate Lapland UK’s 10th anniversary, Alison spilled: "Our boys are our inspiration for the whole thing, three of them are currently at university and as soon as they can they come back and get into costume.

"Our twins are identical and when they were younger they were in the West End so they’re quite theatrical and they dress up and call themselves Okey Dokey and they’re quite fun for the visitors because they try and spot which one is which. Harper Beckham is absolutely in love with them. When she’s come the last couple of years she just wants to see Okey Dokey."

Although they have many famous visitors, Mike and Alison say that the VIPs are always the kids and insists David and Victoria, despite their global fame, are just like any other parents who want to see their family – which also includes, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12 – have a magical time with Father Christmas when they come.

Alison said: "The celebrities go round with the other parents and families and no one bothers them because it’s all about the child and the belief. We’ve never done a private tour for anybody, and the celebrities are very warm and want to spend time with their families and the public respect that."

Mike added: "It’s the best of British, there’s all these wonderful families there with the best ambitions and the best values just trying to make memories with their families and have a great time. The children are always the VIPs at the end of the day."

Lapland UK opens its magical pathway on 18 November and is open on selected dates until Christmas Eve (12.24.18) and some tickets are still available from Laplanduk.co.uk.

‘About Lapland: The Untold Story of Father Christmas’, written by Alison and Mike and published by Bloomsbury, is available in book stores from October 2017.
