According to the Daily Mail, Beckham, 32, wants to learn more about Scientology, the religion practiced by her friends, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. The former Spice Girl recently confirmed that she will begin studying the religion.
Beckham’s husband, David Beckham, however, does not share an interest in the religion. A source said, "Victoria is agreeing to study about Scientology – but at the moment David is less sure."
According to People magazine, the family will move in mid-July to a home that is, "modern, airy, very light and spacious with lots of windows".
A source told the magazine, "Victoria will land in L.A. on Saturday to sign the contract. She will meet with interior designers, discuss fixtures and all aspects of the house plan before flying out shortly afterwards."
"The house they’ve chosen is big but not huge," says the source. "That said, it is big enough for them as a family of five, along with additional space for family members that will visit from Britain."
The Beckhams are moving to California because David has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy. The California soccer team paid $250 million for the former England team captain to play in the United States.
