Madonna kisses Drake on stage

Madonna stunned Drake by kissing him on stage at Coachella last night (04.12.15).

The 56-year-old singer made a surprise appearance during the ‘Worst Behaviour’ star’s set at the Los Angeles festival after her left the stage following a rendition of his song ‘Madonna’ and she came out to sing her own songs ‘Hung Up’ and ‘Human Nature’.

Drake then took a seat and she circled him while singing ‘Express Yourself’ then surprised him with a passionate smooch, much to his apparent horror.

The pop superstar, who was wearing a black vest emblazoned with the phrase ‘Big As Madonna’, didn’t appear to notice the 28-year-old singer wiping his mouth in apparent disgust after the liplock.

She said as she left the stage: ”I’m Madonna, b***h.”

Meanwhile, Drake laughed and asked the crowd: ”What the f**k just happened?”

The ‘Living for Love’ singer – who raises four children, Lourdes, 18, Rocco, 14, and Mercy and David, both nine – has made no secret of the fact she has a crush on the rapper and their moment on stage saw her fulfill a ”lifelong ambition”.

She said recently: ”The lifelong ambition I still want to fulfill is to go on a dream date with Drake — and only kiss him. ”

Lil Wayne suing Cash Money for $51m

Lil Wayne is suing record label Cash Money for $51 million.

The 32-year-old rapper has filed a lawsuit, which has been obtained by gossip website TMZ, against the company, whose CEO is fellow rapper Birdman, claiming they owe him millions of dollars for his upcoming album ‘Tha Carter V’.

As a result of the alleged withholding of funds, Wayne is looking to leave the record label and is also keen for a judge to declare he is the joint copyright holder for everything released on his Cash Money imprint, record label Young Money, which includes Nicki Minaj and Drake recordings.

Sources connected to the ‘Lollipop’ hitmaker claim that Wayne was due to receive $8 million in advance of recording the album, which he started in December 2013, and then a further $2 million when he finished the record last year – but they insist he hasn’t received the money.

The insiders added that ‘Tha Carter V’, which was initially due to be released last May before being delayed until December 2014 and still not released, will drop if Birdman pays up.

Just last month Wayne hit out at Cash Money in a Twitter outburst in which he claimed the record label were ”refusing” to put out the record and insisted he wanted to leave the company because he felt like a ”prisoner”.

In a series of tweets, he wrote: ”To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it.

”This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.

”I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy

I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u

”Pray.”

However, shortly after his Twitter outburst, Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant insisted he wasn’t going to leave the record label.

Rihanna and Drake split?

Rihanna and Drake have reportedly split up again.

The on-again, off-again couple, who rekindled their relationship in February after briefly dating in 2009, have allegedly called off their romance after a series of arguments.

A source told UsMagazine.com: ”Rihanna and Drake had another fight. He is too in love with her, which has always been the problem. They have been fighting, but that could all change any day now. It is how it always is with them.”

Another source said they are ”currently on yet another break.”

The ‘Stay’ hitmaker, 26, and the 27-year-old ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ singer had been inseparable in recent months and friends insisted last month that they ”were always meant to be together.”

One insider said: ”They got on so well and have always had a special connection from the moment they met…and now they have found each other again, everyone just feels like this is it.

”Their friends are so happy that they’re together. There’s a real feeling among their inner circle that they were always meant to be together. They really are made for one another. Everyone knows it. And Drake could not be happier. They couldn’t be better suited.”

The pair were first spotted out together when Rihanna joined Drake at Soixante Dix Neuf nightclub in Paris in February, shortly after the rapper admitted she was his dream girl.

He said: ”I mean, I think about it. Like, ‘Man that would be good.’ We have fun together. She’s cool and s**t. But we’re just friends. That’s my dog for life.”

Drake bought Rihanna $42,000 ring

Drake has bought Rihanna a $42,000 ring.

The ‘From Time’ rapper, who is reportedly dating the ‘Unapologetic’ singer, has splashed out on the yellow diamond, although it is not believed to be an engagement ring.

A source told The Daily Star newspaper: ”Rihanna was delighted with the gift.

”She has accepted it as a token of Drake’s love. He’s now even changing his schedule to spend as much time as possible with her.

”It’s all getting increasingly serious between them.”

The ‘Stay’ hitmaker, 26, and the 27-year-old star have been ”inseparable” in recent weeks and Rihanna hopes he will ask her to start looking at properties soon so they can plan to move in together.

The loved-up pair have been dating exclusively for a number of weeks, following a brief fling in 2009, after Rihanna’s split from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The pair were photographed holding hands in London and embraced after Drake’s performance at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (04.13.14).

A source said: ”Rihanna immediately ran to Drake, jumped into his arms and planted a fat kiss on his lips.”

Rihanna and Drake were spotted holding hands after his concert in Manchester on Tuesday night (03.11.14).

The ‘What Now’ singer, 26, and the 24-year-old rapper are rumoured to have gotten back together and they now appear to have confirmed their relationship after they were seen holding hands as they made their way to the after-party at Club Entourage.

Following the party the couple are said to have continued their night out together by renting out an entire bowling alley where they stayed until four o’clock the next morning, according to TMZ.com.

This isn’t the pair’s first date since reportedly rekindling their romance however, as they were also seen getting hot and steamy at London’s celebrity hotspot Cirque Le Soir on Monday night (03.10.14) and appeared to have enjoyed a romantic meal together on Sunday (03.09.14) as they were photographed leaving the Nobu restaurant in Mayfair.

Speaking about the music stars’ night at Cirque Le Soir, a source said: ”There’s definitely no question about their romance anymore. Rihanna and Drake spent the whole night with their tongues down each other’s throats and didn’t seem to care about everybody seeing.”

Chris Brown and Drake sued over club brawl

Chris Brown and Drake are being sued over their New York City nightclub brawl.

The duo escaped charges following a fight at W.i.P. Nightclub in June 2012, which left a number of people injured including Eva Longoria’s former husband Tony Parker and after he filed a civil suit against the club seeking damages after suffering a corneal laceration, W.i.P’s owners filed documents insisting all damages should come from Drake and Chris.

According to TMZ, the club insisted the duo "contributed to, instigated, participated and/or engaged" in the fight and should be held responsible for compensation.

In the paperwork Tony previously filed he alleges that the club’s security was negligent for allowing the fight to ever happen.

Drake is alleged to have started the fight after claims his entourage sent a note to Chris about his girlfriend Rihanna – who split from Brown in February 2009 after he assaulted her before reconciling last year.

However, criminal charges were not filed as investigators found insufficient evidence to prosecute the pair.

Surveillance footage of the incident was said to be too blurry to identify anyone and interviews with those involved were inconclusive.

One Direction win three 2012 MTV Video Music Awards

One Direction were the big winners at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday (06.09.12).

‘The X Factor’ 2010 contestants scooped up three prizes at the ceremony in Los Angeles, California.

Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Niall Horan won Most Share-Worthy Video, and Best Pop Video for their track ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and Best New Artist.

The boys dedicated their Best Pop Video gong to their fans and joked about their clumsy ways after a mishap.

Niall told the audience: "This one’s for our fans, you’re amazing. This one’s for you."

Liam joked: "We’ve had this award two seconds and we’ve already broken it."

Meanhwhile Louis took time out to thanks their boss and record company.

He said: "Thanks to Simon Cowell and all at SyCo, this one’s for our fans."

The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards will air on Friday (07.09.12) at 9pm on MTV UK, Sky 126 and Virgin 311.

Drake slams Chris Brown in new single

Drake has slammed Chris Brown in his new single ‘Enough Said’.

The rapper’s latest track features previously unheard vocals by late R&B singer Aaliyah and has angered fans who have accused him of using the song as a vehicle to diss his love rival Chris.

Drake raps: "Running through the city with n****s I’d give a kidney/ Selling under 150 you n****s got to be kidding/ Is this even still a discussion?/ Don’t you ever wake up disgusted?"

The line has been perceived as a dig at Chris’ mediocre album sales after his latest offering ‘Fortune’ sold 135,000 copies in its first week while Drake’s ‘Take Care’ shifted 600,000.

Fans took to twitter in a rage after hearing the song, which has been released to honour the anniversary of Aaliyah’s tragic death in a plane crash.

@Cazba21 Now posted: "I love Drake but not sure reworking Aaliyah for 10 year anniversary and "dissing" Chris Brown in it is really in the right spirit!"

@In_Boss_U_Trust asked: "Is the Drake song with Aaliyah in it really a diss to Chris Brown cuz if so, that’s disrespectful" (sic)

The rivalry between Drake and Chris came to head in June when the pair were involved in a violent club brawl, allegedly sparked over Barbados beauty Rihanna who Drake is rumoured to have dated.

Chris – who split from Rihanna in 2009 after he was accused of violently assaulting her – has since branded Drake "a p***y n***a" in a freestyle remix.

‘Enough Said’ is believed to be part of a special upcoming Aaliyah LP.

Drake recently dropped clues saying: "I have some great Aaliyah news coming soon. Just some special things. Great things for music, period."

Chris Brown ordered to appear in court

Chris Brown has been ordered to appear in court next month.

The R ‘N’ B singer was called in as part as a routine progress hearing on Tuesday (10.07.12) as part of his felony battery conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

While he didn’t attend in person to report this time, Judge Patricia Schnegg, has expressed concerns about a discrepancy in hours that the Grammy Award-winning star had completed in his required community labor.

The judge asked the probation department to establish where Chris resides because he owns a home in Los Angeles, California and had been doing his community service in his native state of Virginia.

She also wants an audit done on Chris’ hours to ensure the accuracy leading to her order for him to appear at his next progress report on August 21, according to website RadarOnline.

Last month a fight broke out between Drake and Chris’ entourages in a New York City club that resulted in Chris receiving stitches for a gash to his chin.

There were multiple injuries from shards of glass from broken bottles, including Eva Longoria’s ex-husband, Tony Parker.
