Drake and Chris Brown offered 1m each to fight

Drake and Chris Brown have been offered $1 million each to continue their feud in a boxing ring.

The pair and their entourages were involved in a fight at a New York club earlier this month in which several people were injured and Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman has revealed billionaire Alki David has offered to pay out the huge sums and give another $1 million to charity if they take part in a public fight.

He told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Obviously they have a grudge. It’s just three one-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt."

The singers have been at war over Rihanna, who had a fling with Drake after splitting up with Chris when he assaulted her three years ago.

Unconfirmed reports revealed Chris sent a bottle of champagne to Drake’s table as a peace offering but it was returned with a note reading, "I’m f***ing the love of your life, deal with it."

The gesture is then thought to have angered Chris and resulted in him confronting Drake, who allegedly threw a punch at his rival, leading to a brawl breaking out.

Meanwhile, Eva Longoria’s former husband Tony Parker is recovering in Paris after having eye surgery to repair the corneal laceration he suffered during the bar brawl.

The basketball player’s hope of representing France in the London 2012 Olympics is now in doubt and he suing the nightclub for $20 million, claiming it should never have let Rihanna’s exes in at the same time.

The San Antonio Spurs star filed the lawsuit against W.i.P. Nightclub on Thursday (22.06.12) in New York State Supreme Court and in the paperwork he alleges that the club’s security was negligent for allowing the fight to ever happen.

Sneakbo hoping for Drake track soon

Sneakbo is hoping to record a track with Drake soon.

The Canadian rapper is a huge fan of rising UK star Sneakbo – saying he even had an influence over his flow on last album ‘Take Care’ – and the young rapper hopes they will hook up on a track soon.

Sneakbo exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Hopefully we are gonna get a track together, but we aint really talked about that yet. He has rung me though, and we twitter direct messages."

‘The Wave’ rapper is also rumoured to be working with Jessie J, but while he wouldn’t confirm if they are set to go into the studio together, he thinks they’d be able to make a track together.

He added: "There’s rumours that I could work with Jessie J, but I’m not saying anything. She’s definitely too commercial for me, but I’m an artist, and I like trying new things, and I believe I can do any style."

Sneakbo – real name Agassi Odusina – is famed for his ‘Jetski Wave’ musical style but showcased a new, more laid back sound on recent single ‘Sing for Tomorrow’, but promises his album will have plenty of tracks in both styles.

He added: "My album is going to be more of the wave type of vibe, but there will be more tracks like sing for tomorrow

"I can hit electro and party beats and all that but Sing for Tomorrow connected with me fans well, and I love that type of stuff, its real life stuff, so my album will have that vibe and the party vibe together."

Lil Wayne calls on Drake to end Chris Brown feud

Lil Wayne has called on Drake to end his feud with Chris Brown.

Wayne – the founder and co-head of Young Money Entertainment, the label Drake is signed to – has called on the musician and the ‘Yeah 3x’ singer to stop arguing because it is bad for business.

Drake and Chris have been at war due to their individual romantic relationships with Rihanna and their argument spilled into violence last week when a huge brawl erupted in a New York nightclub between them and their entourages, which left Chris with a cut to his lip, and various bystanders injured.

Sources say several people from Young Money including Wayne, Birdman and co-founder Mack Maine, have called Drake to tell him to make up with Chris.

They are keen for him to end the beef because many of the label’s acts have appeared on tracks with Chris and he is behind a number of their hit records and while the company say will stand by Drake no matter what, one source told TMZ.com: "Making money matters most."

Drake is said to be unwilling to make amends with Chris until he says he wasn’t responsible for the fight at the W.i.P club last week.

Despite the altercation, Drake’s friend Meek Mill has insisted there are no huge problems between the two.

He said: "I talked to Chris immediately after that, on the phone. There’s nothing there. Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this.

"Things get out of hand. That don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake."

Chris Brown meets with police

Chris Brown has met with police following his altercation with Drake’s entourage.

The ‘Yeah 3x’ hitmaker suffered a gash to his chin following a fight at New York club W.i.P on Wednesday night (13.06.12) and has now discussed the incident with authorities, but neither he nor his rival are being treated as suspects in the inquiry.

According to gossip website TMZ, Chris met with detectives in New York as a "witness and a victim" and his lawyers later spoke to police to present evidence to show Drake and Meek Mill were the aggressors.

Drake has also been "cooperating" with authorities, but it is not known if he has spoken directly to police himself yet.

Meanwhile, a girl who needed 16 stitches after being hit with a bottle during the alleged brawl has blamed the "stupid famous people" involved.

Hollie C., a 24-year-old Australian tourist, was struck by a flying glass bottle during the altercation, which reportedly stemmed from a row over Chris’ former girlfriend Rihanna.

In a video clip she recorded after being released from hospital, she said: "I’ve just looked on the internet and realised the reason why I have 16 stitches on my head, on my face is because of some stupid famous people having a fight over a girl.

"Now where’s the justice in them driving away in a limo while I had to catch the train home on one of my holidays?"

Hollie drifted in and out of consciousness after the incident and she was taken to a nearby hospital and discharged on Thursday (14.06.12) morning. She has since filed a police report.

Chris has been at war with Drake over his alliance with Rihanna, who split up with the ‘Beautiful People’ hitmaker after he was convicted of assaulting her three years ago.

Unconfirmed reports revealed he sent a bottle of champagne to Drake’s table as a peace offering but it was returned with a note reading, "I’m f***ing the love of your life, deal with it."

The gesture is then thought to have angered Chris and resulted in him confronting Drake, who allegedly threw a punch at his rival, leading to a brawl breaking out.

No arrests have so far been made in connection with the incident.

Drake tours with studio

Drake has a "studio bus" on the road with him.

The rapper is currently in the middle of his Club Paradise US tour and will officially begin recording his next album immediately after it finishes next month, but he has already done some work for other artists while he is travelling.

He told MTV News: "I’m really excited to start working on new music. I start like June 18.

"I got a studio bus out here so me and 40 started working on a couple joints the other night. Just getting warmed up. I did like the ‘Amen’ track for Meek [Mill] and I did ‘No Lie’ for 2Chainz."

The ‘Over’ hitmaker is particularly excited for fans to hear his appearance on French Montana’s track ‘Pop That’, which features a host of guest artists.

He said: "I’m on French Montana’s single; me, him, [Rick] Ross and [Lil] Wayne, which is a crazy lineup.

"And then on Justin Bieber’s record. I wrote a song for him as well."

However, Drake joked he wasn’t sure whether the track, ‘Right Here’, would make it on to the teenage singer’s forthcoming ‘Believe’ album.

Speaking before the record’s track listing was released by Justin this week, he joked: "Awkward Justin Bieber moment. Yeah, we’ll see. It’s a good song though; produced by Hit-Boy."

Justin Bieber recording with Timberlake producer

Justin Bieber is recording with Justin Timberlake’s producer.

‘Baby’ singer Bieber has long been a fan of the elder singer turned actor, and is currently working with Timbaland, who was behind the latter’s biggest hits including ‘Cry me a River’ and ‘What Goes Around… Comes Around’.

Bieber tweeted last night: "in the studio with @timbaland and the crew. #creating (sic)."

Rapper Lil Wayne also dropped by and Bieber posted a picture of them skateboarding together.

Referring to Wayne by one of his nicknames, he later wrote: "Good time in the studio last night. back at it tonight. oh yeah…and big bro came and when i say big bro i mean @LilTunechi. #BELIEVE IT #family (sic)."

It is not known if Wayne will appear on Bieber’s album, as he previously said he didn’t want to work the 17-year-old at this stage in his career as he thinks he would "f**k his s**t up."

Bieber – who is set to call his third album ‘Believe’ – is also said to be in talks with Drake and Kanye West about appearing on the record, and has also worked with Black Eyed Peas main man will.i.am on tracks.

Drake’s new album leaked online

It seems to have become customary for a new album to appear on the Web a few days before its official release. This time, Canadian rapper Drake is the victim of bootleggers.

Over the weekend on a Toronto radio station, the singer-songwriter debuted his latest single Crew Love, from the upcoming album Take Care.

Unfortunately, the full content of Take Care, scheduled for release on November 15, has since then managed to make its way into the file-sharing sites.

The leak is even more concerning since there were legal reasons surrounding its delayed release. Some of the samples used on the album needed permission from the original artists, pushing the original planned release date back three weeks from October 24, the singer’s 25th birthday.

When news of the leak broke, Drake kept his cool. On Sunday, November 6, he posted his comments on Twitter.

“I am not sure if the album leaked. But if it did thank god it doesn’t happen a month early anymore.” He followed up with: “Listen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it…and take care until next time.”

Drake debuts new single

With only a little over a week to go until the debut of his new album, Take Care, on November 15, rapper Drake has unveiled yet another single, Crew Love,, featuring The Weeknd, reports Consequence of Sound.

Considering that the song was recorded by two Toronto-born rappers, it seems fitting that Drake chose Toronto radio station Flow 93.5 to debut his newest single.

Crew Love is the fourth official single to drop ahead of the album’s release, following Headlines, Make Me Proud featuring Nicki Minaj, and The Motto featuring Lil Wayne – the latter of which will only be available on the album’s deluxe edition, along with the bonus track Hate Sleeping Alone.

Drake had originally planned to release his sophomore album on October 24 – his 25th birthday – but the LP was pushed back because the label had some trouble securing releases for three of the samples used on its tracks.
