Jennifer Lopez and Drake’s romance ‘fizzled’ out

Jennifer Lopez and Drake’s romance "fizzled" out because of their busy schedules.

The ‘On The Floor’ singer has reportedly cooled down her romance with the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker but the pair aren’t ruling out making another go of it "in the future".

A source close to Jennifer told Entertainment Tonight: "She likes Drake. They’re just busy, so it has fizzled.

"She’s a mom with an insanely busy career. He’s touring in Europe. Who knows what will happen in the future when they’re more able to be in the same place."

It comes after it was revealed the couple have decided to "take some time apart" but are still very much "in each others’ lives".

A source said: "They have taken some time apart, not because they don’t want to be with each other, just because their schedules started getting insane.

"JLo and Drake are still talking, so people should know they are not in any means angry or that some incident happened. It mainly had to do with timing. They have just cooled things off a bit and it’s not as fast as it was in the beginning. They very well may go to dinner tomorrow or in a month. They are in each others’ lives, just doing their own thing now."

It is thought the 47-year-old singer – who has eight-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her marriage to ex Marc Anthony – was alluding to the couple’s split when she posted a cryptic Instagram quote over the weekend.

She wrote: "Timing is everything. If it’s meant to happen, it will, and for the right reasons."

The pair are said to have become close whilst working on music together late last year.

A source said at the time: "They do work on music together [but are] clearly enjoying each other on another level too. Jen loves the attention and she seems very happy to be spending time with him. Drake is very charming. He treats Jen with lots of respect. She seems very smitten."

Drake: Rihanna is ‘the queen of everything’

Drake has dubbed his ex-girlfriend Rihanna as "the queen of everything".

The 30-year-old rapper has previously enjoyed an on/off relationship with the ‘Love on the Brain’ singer which culminated last year, and despite the pair no longer being an item it seems the star still holds her in high regard as he played their joint hits ‘Work’ and ‘Too Good’ at his show at London’s O2 Arena on Monday night (30.01.17)

He said on stage: "She’s like the queen of everything.

"If you want your woman to feel sexy and s**t you play the Riri records."

The ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker has seemingly moved on from the 28-year-old singer though, as he has recently been romancing Jennifer Lopez.

A source said previously about their budding relationship: "Jen is looking forward with excitement to the new year. She keeps hanging out with Drake, and he has visited her house. She has nothing but nice things to say about Drake.

"They do work on music together [but are] clearly enjoying each other on another level too. Jen loves the attention and she seems very happy to be spending time with him. Drake is very charming. He treats Jen with lots of respect. She seems very smitten."

Meanwhile, it was reported that Rihanna felt "sick" when she heard of Drake’s new beau, but is also slightly relieved the ‘One Dance’ rapper has moved on.

An insider claimed: "That picture of them together, all hugged up, made Rihanna sick. To the point where she wanted to throw her phone down three flights of stairs.

"Rih is just glad it’s not her falling for this BS.

"Better J.Lo than her. The only thing Drake’s ever been good at is talking a good game and never following through."

Kanye West ‘set to snub the Grammys’

Kanye West is among a host of stars reportedly set to snub this year’s Grammy Awards.

The 39-year-old rapper is apparently poised to shun the annual awards bash on February 12 in protest against perceived racism, while the likes of Justin Bieber and Drake consider the Grammys to have become irrelevant, especially to younger artists.

A source explained to TMZ that the music stars consider the awards show to be "out of touch".

Kanye has been nominated for eight gongs at this year’s ceremony, but has always lost out when he’s gone head-to-head against a white singer.

Justin, 22, has received four nominations, but intends to be somewhere else on the night of the Grammys as he considers the ceremony to be unrepresentative.

Drake, on the other hand, is set to be on tour in Europe, even though he has received eight nominations.

However, TMZ also adds that all three artists could still change their minds before the event is staged at the Staples Center in Los Angeles next month.

The glitzy bash is to be hosted by British comedian James Corden, who previously revealed he is relishing the opportunity.

He said: "I am truly honored to be hosting the Grammys next year. It’s the biggest, most prestigious award show in music, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night."

Recording Academy President CEO Neil Portnow said James is the perfect candidate to replace previous host LL Cool J.

He explained: "He’s got big shoes to fill after the magnificent run we had with LL Cool J, but James Corden is a commanding, dynamic showman who, we believe, is perfect to host the Grammy Awards."

Jennifer Lopez couldn’t be happier

Jennifer Lopez couldn’t be happier.

The ‘Shades of Blue’ star – who is rumoured to be dating Drake – is thankful her careers is going well, her eight-year-old twins Max and Emme, who she has with ex-husband Marc Anthony, are "thriving" and she is able to spend a lot of time with her family.

She said: "I’m very happy right now. I feel so fortunate. The kids are doing great — they’re in school and they’re thriving. That makes me the happiest of all. Mommy gets to be creative and I’m home to them every night, so it’s all good."

Though she has two successful TV shows, a Las Vegas residency and is currently recording new music, the former ‘American Idol’ judge insists she isn’t perfect, but would rather not focus on the things she can’t do.

She laughed to ‘Extra’: "There are many [things] that I can’t do. Let’s not talk about that. Let’s talk about the things I can do!"

The 47-year-old beauty recently admitted that "everything" she does is for her kids.

She said: Everything I do is for them.

"Once you have kids, it’s a whole different world. You go along as an actress or performer in this business and it’s [always] ‘Me, me, me. My business, my career, my things. What am I going to do next?’

"When you have kids it becomes not about you, it becomes about them and what’s going to make them happy and what’s going to make them better, and what’s going to be better for them."

And the ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ hitmaker admits she’s scared of "failing" her children.

She added: "Your whole [life] changes and it’s this beautiful, freeing kind of loving feeling.

"Things get, in a way, easier, because you know what’s important. But also harder, because you just don’t want to ever fail them."

Kanye West and Jay Z to duet?

Kanye West and Jay Z are reportedly planning a duet to help them patch up their friendship.

The 39-year-old rapper – who was hospitalised for "temporary psychosis" in November – hit out at the ‘Empire State Of Mind’ hitmaker last year for not visiting him or his wife Kim Kardashian West after the beauty was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, in October.

It was recently reported that the pair have now put their differences behind them after the ‘Famous’ rapper went to meet the 47-year-old musician and his wife Beyoncé Knowles earlier this month, and insiders now say new music could be on the way.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kanye is over the moon to have his ‘family’ back. He is starting to feel like himself again, knowing he has the support of Jay and Beyoncé.

"Some new tracks would be fascinating given what Kanye has been through over the past year. But under the watchful eye of his mentor and ‘big bro’ Jay, it would be huge."

In his original comments, Kanye slammed the producer – who has daughter Blue Ivy, five, with Beyonce – for not visiting after Kim’s ordeal, and claimed his own children, North, three, and Saint, 13 months, have never met Jay’s little girl.

He fumed: "Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say, ‘How you feelin?’ You wanna know how I’m feelin? Come by the house.

"Bring the kids by the house like we’re brothers. Let’s sit down.

"I can’t take this s**t bro. Our kids have never even played together."

Meanwhile, the ‘Stronger’ singer previously claimed there would "never" be a follow up to their 2011 collaborative album ‘Watch The Throne’, because of conflicts between Jay Z’s streaming service Tidal, and Apple Music.

Launching into Drake’s song ‘Pop Style’, on which he originally had a verse, he told the audience at his gig: "Let me tell y’all something. There will never be a ‘Watch The Throne 2’. That’s the reason I wasn’t on this song.

"I wasn’t on the song cause of Hov. ‘Cause of some Tidal/Apple bulls**t. And that s**t be getting me tight every time I perform this motherf***er.

"I start freestylin’ to it. Jay thought of a couple lines, I said, ‘Man, just go ahead and throw that on there, [Drake] would be so surprised he probably wouldn’t expect you to be on there. And we sent it back to him. And he was like, ‘Oh s**t, the Throne is on this s**t.’ Then Jay thought about it, and out of respect for Meek Mill he didn’t want to be on the track. And I said, ‘Look, I’ll call Drake, I’ll call Meek, I’ll call y’all, we gotta squash this s**t, we gotta let people have this song.’ But then it went into some political s**t, some s**t about percentages on songs."

Jennifer Lopez: ‘Everything’ I do is for my children

Jennifer Lopez says "everything" she does is in support of her children.

The 47-year-old singer and actress has eight-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian from her former marriage to music producer Marc Anthony, and has said that her life has stopped being all about "me, me, me" since she gave birth as she instead focuses her efforts on making "them happy".

‘The Boy Next Door’ actress said: "Everything I do is for them.

"Once you have kids, it’s a whole different world. You go along as an actress or performer in this business and it’s [always] ‘Me, me, me. My business, my career, my things. What am I going to do next?’

"Things get, in a way, easier, because you know what’s important. But also harder, because you just don’t want to ever fail them."

Jennifer – who is reportedly in a relationship with 30-year-old rapper Drake – says she’s thankful to have "wonderful people" in her life so that she doesn’t have to do anything alone, and is pleased she can take things "one day at a time".

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ at the People’s Choice Awards – where she took home the gong for Favourite Crime Drama TV Actress for her role in ‘Shades of Blue’ – Jennifer said: "Nobody does anything alone. Even with the kids, it takes a village.

"But I just have wonderful people in my life. I have a lot of loving people, a lot of people that believe in me and believe in what we’re doing together.

"They know the kids come first and everything else kind of falls in line after that, and we just take it one day at a time."

Serena Williams says love can be a ‘magical’ thing

Serena Williams thinks love is a "magical" thing.

The 35-year-old professional tennis player – who previously dated Drake, Common and Grigor Dimitrov – announced on social media in December that she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and just weeks later she has now said she believes love is something "you may only experience once".

Asked to define love, the sports superstar said: "Love is magical. It’s something that you may only experience once in life."

And despite her fiancé whisking her away to Rome to recreate the first time they met in order to ask her to marry him, Serena claims the most romantic thing a man has ever done for her "hasn’t happened yet".

When asked for Vogue.com’s ’73 Questions’ video segment about the most romantic gesture she has received, she said: "That hasn’t happened yet."

Last month, Serena revealed the happy news of her engagement on her verified Reddit account, with a poem which read: "I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance. But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes."

Serena – whose older sister Venus Williams, 36, is also a champion tennis player – previously revealed she wants to have children "some day" but still feels like she is too young.

She explained: "I definitely want to have kids one day. That’s something I’ve always wanted since as long as I could remember. And the older I get, the more I’m like, ‘I’m too young!’ "
