The offer is available on a variety of plans, with both 3G and 4G speed tiers to choose from.
The terms state that the free month is only applied after two months of service. A one-time SIM card charge also applies, as per the fine print.
The flash sale ends on May 1st.

Bell’s Lucky Mobile is kicking off Eid celebrations with a new offer — 4 GB of bonus data per month for 12 months.
The catch? You’ll need to register for Auto Top-Up with select plans starting at $35/month to qualify. Auto Top-Up plans come with 2GB/month of bonus data to begin with, so this Eid offer only nets you an extra 2 GB/month.
Lucky pitches its Auto Top-Up plans as an easy way to avoid missing payments. Using your payment of choice, the company adds funds directly to your account balance every month to cover service charges.
The offer lasts until April 24th, and is available online and at select retailers across the country.

Bell’s Lucky Mobile launched a flash sale offering one month of free service for customers who buy online.
The offer runs until April 3rd, 2023 and is available online and at select retail stores, though Lucky says that does not include Dollarama, The Source, Easyhome or Circle K, which have their own bonus offer.
The free month of service will be applied as a credit on the customer’s third month of service, which means you need to stay with Lucky for two months before you get the deal.
Along with the free month of service, customers who buy their Lucky SIM card online can get it for 50 percent off.
Lucky offered a similar deal for St. Patrick’s Day earlier this year.

This offer ends on July 21st and is available online and t select retailers. Your SIM card has to be activated by August 19th to redeem this offer. There’s also a one-time $10 SIM card charge.
Additionally, the offer requires a minimum plan of $35 per month.
Auto top-up is when you authorize payments on your credit card, Visa Debit or bank account to your account balance every month to cover your monthly charges.

Rogers flanker brand Chatr is back with another ‘flash sale.’ This time around, the provider is offering 2GB of bonus per month for six months when you get a new plan.
Chatr’s offer is available for new activations of its plans starting at $35/mo. Like with previous offers from the provider, this one will expire if an account becomes inactive or if customers change their plan before the end of the six-month period. With that in mind, make sure to pick a plan that you’ll want to keep for at least six months.
The 2GB bonus is just one option for Chatr customers to boost their monthly data. Customers who sign up for Chatr’s auto-pay system also get a bonus 500MB of data per month. That stacks with the current 2GB offer, making it 2.5GB for the first six months.
Chatr’s flash sale runs until June 27th, but if you can’t take advantage of it this time around, it’s worth noting that the provider has similar offers to this available relatively often.

The Rogers flanker brand isn’t a stranger to such sales. The company recently offered a 3GB flash sale that ended March 31st and a 4GB sale that ended March 21st.

Over the weekend, Bell’s Lucky Mobile and Rogers’ Chatr Mobile launched flash sales offering customers 3GB of bonus data per month for six months.
Now, both flanker brands have added a free month, sweetening the offer.
Lucky’s website notes that customers can sign up and “get one month of free service.” According to the fine print, the free month is applied as a credit to customers’ second month of service and is based on the price of customers’ rate plan before tax.
Customers can get this alongside the six months of bonus data. Both offers end March 31st.
Chatr, on the other hand, extended its flash sale until April 1st. Along with the 3GB bonus data for six months, Chatr offers one month’s fee in credit. That credit will be applied on customers’ “third-anniversary date.”
Additionally, Chatr’s one-month free credit is available on some plans that the bonus data is not. To get the bonus data, you need to activate a $35/mo plan or higher, while the one-month credit is available on all Chatr plans.
At the time of publication, Telus’ Public Mobile had not offered a free month, but it was offering 2GB of bonus data per month for 12 months compared to Lucky’s and Chatr’s 3GB/mo for six months.

Telus’ Public Mobile also has a flash sale going on. Customers can get 2GB of bonus data per month for a year.
The offer is available in-store until March 31st, 2022. Alternatively, it’s available online if customers order a SIM before March 31st and activate that SIM by April 15th.
To claim the offer, customers need to activate a new Public plan that costs $25/mo or more using promo code 12MONTHS2GB. Public’s website says the bonus data will be “applied for 12 months as long as you’re with us.”
However, the fine print on the website notes that the bonus data will expire if the account becomes inactive or if customers change the rate plan. In other words, make sure the plan you pick when signing up is one you’ll want for the next 12 months.

It’s worth noting that all of Public’s plans include unlimited international text and picture messaging. Customers can also get an extra 500MB of data each month if they use Public’s AutoPay service.
All included data is capped at 3G speeds.
Moreover, Bell’s Lucky Mobile and Rogers’ Chatr Mobile also have flash sales on, but I think Public’s offer is a little better. It has a smaller bonus (2GB/mo instead of 3GB) but over a longer period of time (12 months vs. six months), which works out to more data in the long run.

Moreover, Chatr had a flash sale last weekend as well where it offered 4GB of bonus data per month for four months. However, this deal is slightly better — you get 1GB less per month, but thanks to the extra two months the offer lasts, you end up with 4GB more data total.
