I gotta feeling Peas and Super Bowl a good mix

Peas please, say the organizers of the Super Bowl television sportscast seen by millions around the globe, according to the blog Sports By Brooks

Since the infamous wardrobe malfunction of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s 2004 performance, organizers have called upon rock legends in recent years, few under the age of 60. Since TimberJack’s tempest in a C-cup, artists who have succeeded them include Paul McCartney (2005), Rolling Stones (2006), Prince (2007) Tom Petty (2008 ), Bruce Springsteen (2009) and The Who (2010).

The choice of Black Eyed Peas would be appropriate given the band’s popularity on radio with hits like “I Gotta Feeling,” “Boom Boom Pow,” and “Imma Be” — bringing a breath of fresh air to the new Dallas Cowboys’ stadium in Arlington, Texas. The $1.3 billion stadium can accommodate 80,000 fans – an enviable gig for any musician.

After all the legendary rockers, and the Black Eyed Peas will bring some current musical vibes to the traditionally country music lone star state.
