Julianne Moore’s children aren’t impressed by the Oscars.

The ‘Still Alice’ star, who is nominated for Best Actress at the prestigious ceremony in Los Angeles next month, claims her son Caleb, 17, and daughter Liv, 12, were more excited about her starring in ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part One.’

She said: ”They could take or leave the Oscars. ‘Mockingjay’ was a big deal!”

Despite being considered a front-runner ahead of the prestigious ceremony, Julianne is determined not to get swept up by the buzz either.

The 46-year-old star said: ”I try to take it one day at a time. Otherwise, I get overwhelmed.”

But she has started looking at designer dresses for the event.

She told Us Weekly magazine: ”I have a couple of dress options. I don’t like to do things last-minute. I’m always impressed when people say, ‘I chose it 15 minutes ago!’ ”

The actress plays a professor grappling with Alzheimer’s disease in the film and admits she felt a lot of pressure to do her character justice.

She explained: ”The challenge is always there. Are you going to get it right? This is a disease that I had no knowledge of, so I really felt a responsibility to gather as much information as I could.”

Jennifer Lawrence ‘scared’ of paparazzi

Jennifer Lawrence is ”scared” of paparazzi.

The 24-year-old actress – who rose to fame playing Katniss Everdeen in the ‘Hunger Games’ – has admitted that the photographers make her anxious every time she goes out.

She said: ”I knew the paparazzi were going to be a reality in my life.

”But I didn’t know that I would feel anxiety every time I open my front door, or that being chased by 10 men you don’t know, or being surrounded, feels invasive and makes me feel scared and gets my adrenaline going every day.”

Jennifer – who had personal photos hacked and then leaked online earlier this year – is lobbying for people to be protected against the sharing of such images.

She told Associated Press: ”If somebody jumps my fence and takes a picture through my window of me naked, that’s illegal, but the photos can still be everywhere the next day, and that makes no sense.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star previously slammed the nude photo hack, calling it a ”sex crime”.

She said: ”It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change …

”Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory.

”It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world.”

Liam Hemsworth’s family thought he was possessed by demons when he was a child.

The Australian actor, 24, admits he and his older brother Chris Hemsworth, 31, were very naughty when they were growing up, as their grandfather gave them rifles and homemade weapons to play with, and claims their uncles used to call him ”Devil Child.”

He said: ”For some reason, my grandpa thought they would be good to give to us – we would just do stupid s**t out in the bush.

”I think everyone agrees that I was the naughtiest as a kid. My uncles used to call me ‘Devil Child’ or ‘Triple’ for triple six. They used to tell my brother Chris that they were going to get the demons out of him because he was also a little crazy. But to me, they’d just be like, ‘You’re too far gone. There’s no exorcising you anymore.’ ”

The ‘Hunger Games’ star believes his work ethic is what separates him from other people and insists he has worked very hard for his success.

He said: ”If you put the work in, and you show that you’re willing to work hard, you’ll succeed. I feel that I often put in more work, and that is what separates me from the other people.”

Liam ended his engagement with Miley Cyrus, 21, last year after four years together, but they are still on friendly terms.

He told the November issue of NYLON Guys magazine: ”There’s not much to say; there’s no bad blood there.”

Chris Martin writes love songs about Jennifer Lawrence

Chris Martin is ”sweeping” Jennifer Lawrence ”off her feet.”

The Coldplay frontman, who split from Gwyneth Paltrow in March after 10 years of marriage, has reportedly been pulling out all the stops to romance ‘The Hunger Games’ actress, including writing new love songs about her, since they started dating in June.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: ”He writes her songs and loves taking her to private romantic spots. Chris is sweeping Jen off her feet. That’s his thing.”

The 24-year-old beauty initially told pals that her romance with the 37-year-old rocker, who has daughter Apple, 10, and son Moses, eight, with Gwyneth, wasn’t serious, but is becoming increasingly attracted to him since watching him perform on stage in the UK earlier this summer.

The insider said: ”Jen was blown away at his London show. His music is absolutely part of the attraction. The better she gets to know him, the more she likes him.”

The ‘Magic’ hitmaker’s friends were previously said to be thrilled he has moved on with the ”carefree” actress following his split from Gwyneth, 41.

An insider said: ”She’s just a cool girl. She’s the anti-Gwyneth. She’s not so rigid, and Chris is responding to that. He’s enjoying being with someone carefree. He’s smiling again. Genuinely.”

Lindsay Lohan is suing the creators of ‘Grand Theft Auto’.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress – who turned 28 today (07.02.14) – has finally hit the video game makers with a civil lawsuit after they allegedly used her image for a character named Lacey Jonas without her permission.

The star’s lookalike alter-ego parties at infamous celebrity haunt, the Hotel Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, ”a place where the plaintiff once lived and often frequents”, according to the case documents.

According to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, the troubled actress is coming after game creators Take-Two Interactive for an unspecified sum of money.

Lindsay has been threatening legal action since December, shortly after the fifth installment of the video game was released, and is annoyed because companies usually pay to copy her likeness.

The legal papers claim the ”game features a mission where the plaintiff’s look-alike asks another character to take her home and escape the paparazzi” and features a character sporting the same ” likeness, clothing, outfits, clothing line products, ensemble in the form of hats, hair style, sunglasses, jean shorts worn by [Lohan]…before the release of the GTA V video game.”

The video game cover also strikingly resembles a famous picture of Lindsay in a swimsuit taking a selfie and making a peace sign.

The gaming company has declined to comment.
