Trade-in your old PS4 and get $300-$350 in credits at GameStop

GameStop Canada is currently offering a console trade-in event.

Available only in-store, exchanging your used PlayStation 4 can net you $30o – $350 in value which will go towards purchasing a new PlayStation 5 console bundle.

Check out the trade-in value breakdown below:

  • PS4 PRO – Get $350
  • PS4 SLIM 1TB – Get $320
  • PS4 SLIM 500GB – Get $300

The deal is in-store only and can’t be combined with other trade offers. GameStop’s page notes that to be eligible for a trade-in, your console must be in full working condition with no alterations.

It’s worth noting that you can only use the credit towards buying a new PlayStation 5 bundle. If GameStop doesn’t have the new-gen console bundle stock, then you’ll have to wait until the bundles are available.

The trade-in offer is available starting today, Friday, September 9th, until Sunday, September 11th.

Trade in an old iPhone or iPad and use credits towards a PS5 at GameStop

Got an old iPhone or iPad you want to get rid of? EBGames GameStop is currently offering a trade-in promotion where you can exchange an old iOS or iPadOS device for store credits that can be spent on a PS5 bundle.

Available only in-store, the trade-in gets you in line for GameStop’s next PS5 Bundle drop. The oldest iPhone GameStop will accept for the trade-in is an iPhone 8, whereas the oldest iPad it will accept is the 11-inch third-gen iPad Pro.

Trading in a 64GB iPhone 8 can net you $175 in-store credits, whereas a 1 TB iPhone 13 Pro max would get you $1,550. You can check your device’s trade-in value here.

It’s worth noting that the offer can not be combined with a different trade, and is limited to one per person. Additionally, the offer page says “Only pristine devices will be accepted,” so if your old device is banged up, it might not be eligible for a trade-in.

Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GameStop Canada has revealed its next holiday sale to lead up to Boxing Day.

Running from December 10th to 24th, the ‘Be Merry, Be Bright’ promotion offers savings on a variety of 2021 games. It should be noted that many of these have essentially been carried over from Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Available only in-store, exchanging your used PlayStation 4 can net you $299.99 to $449.99 in value which will go towards purchasing a new PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X/S console bundle.
