American alt rock band the Foo Fighters will perform intimate concerts in the garages of eight lucky winners of the Garage Contest, reports MusicNews.
The Garage Band Tour will kick off in New York on April 8, and visit Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver and Dallas before wrapping up in Seattle on April 27. Each city’s show will be held in the garage of that region’s winning fan and will be limited to 50 guests.
Entrants must explain, in 25 words or less, why the Foo Fighters should play their garage. Entries must be accompanied by a photograph of the garage in question.
The contest is open now until the end of March, with winners announced at the beginning of April.
Along with the intimate performance and a ‘meet and greet’ with the band, the eight winners will receive an autographed copy of the band’s new album, Wasting Light, and an official photograph with the band.
