Justin Bieber: Drake is a ‘legend’

Justin Bieber has branded Drake as a "legend".

The 23-year-old musician took to Instagram on Monday (06.26.17) night to praise the ‘Hotline Bling’ singer for being a "culture shifter", and even branded the star as "the best" in his field right now.

Posting a professional photo of the 30-year-old singer on stage, Justin wrote: "More than a rapper, a culture shifter and legend.. best of our generation (sic)"

The kind message comes as the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker has been attempting to turn his life around in recent months after previously being known for getting himself into trouble.

Most recently, the star shared two mugshots from his 2014 arrest in Miami, Florida, on the photo sharing site as he vowed he will now stay on the right path as jail "is not a cool place to be".

The ‘Love Yourself’ singer captioned the Instagram post: "Mugshot #jailsnotacoolplacetobe, #notfun#neveragain (sic)"

Justin – who was just 19 at the time of his arrest – faced multiple charges when he was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), resisting arrest, and driving with a suspended license when he was caught drag racing in Miami Beach in a yellow Lamborghini three years ago.

It’s not the first time Justin has shared an old mugshot with his followers either, as in April he shared another snap from his 2014 arrest alongside a more recent picture.

He wrote at the time: "I LOVE THIS because it reminds me IM NOT EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE BUT THANK GOD IM NOT WHERE I USED TO BE!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME DO YOU BELIEVE IT? (sic)."

Previously, it was claimed that Justin is on a "spiritual mission".

The singer is believed to have had "an epiphany", which led him to realise that he needs to reconnect with religion and nature, and during days off from his ‘Purpose’ world tour he was spotted meditating in parks and enjoying some solo strolls.

A source said: "He believes nature and religion – not concert venues and nightclubs – should become his life priorities."

Ariana Grande’s diamond crown to be auctioned

Ariana Grande’s ‘Dangerous Women’ crown is set to be auctioned.

The 24-year-old singer wore the jewel-encrusted headpiece in promotional shots for her most recent LP, but she is set to say goodbye to the accessory when it goes under the hammer later this month.

Nate D. Sanders Auctions will host the sale on June 22, and bidding on the crown – which was designed by Mary Collins of Vauje Jewelry – will start at $5,000, and the lucky buyer will also receive images of Ariana wearing the headpiece.

An official listing for the lot states: "Crown worn by 21st century superstar Ariana Grande for her ”Dangerous Woman’ album. Grande wore this crown for the promotional campaign of the album, in photos designed to looks like gorgeous mug shots. ‘Dangerous Woman’ premiered at #2 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S., and at #1 in the U.K.

"Brass crown is adorned with handset rhinestones next to spikes all along the crown. Measures 4.5” tall in front, and 7” in diameter.

"Crown is designed by Mary Collins of Vauje, and comes with her notarized LOA, along with laminated photos of Grande wearing the crown. Near fine."

Meanwhile, it was recently announced the ‘Bang Bang’ singer is set to receive honorary citizenship of Manchester in recognition of her efforts in arranging the One Love Manchester benefit concert, a star-studded musical extravaganza to raise money for those involved in a terrorist attack at her concert in the city last month.

Council leader Sir Richard Leese told BBC News: "[Many people already see Ariana as] an honorary Mancunian. This seems a fitting moment to update the way we recognize those who make noteworthy contributions to the life and success of our city.

"We’ve all had cause to be incredibly proud of Manchester and the resilient and compassionate way in which the city, and all those associated with it, have responded to the terrible events of 22 May – with love and courage rather than hatred and fear … [Ariana had] exemplified this response."

Manchester City Council also revealed they plan to hold an event to recognise the "great many selfless acts and demonstrations of community spirit in the aftermath of the atrocity".

Ariana Grande writes thank you note to fans

Ariana Grande has written an emotional-filled letter to her Instagram followers after completing the European leg of her Dangerous Woman tour.

The 23-year-old singer thanked her fans for their loyalty and support they have shown her since the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena on May 22, which occurred shortly after she’d performed on stage at the indoor venue.

She wrote: "At the close of this European leg of my Dangerous Woman tour, I just wanted to thank you properly for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown me, my crew, and each other during this challenging time. Spending this time with you this month has been so very healing and special! Thank you for being here."

The chart-topping star also thanked her fans for the "generosity" they’d shown in relation to the One Love Manchester show, which was staged to raise money for the victims of the attack.

The event, which was held at Emirates Old Trafford, was attended by around 50,000 people and also featured performances from a number of big-name stars, including the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Liam Gallagher.

In her Instagram message, Ariana wrote: "Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity in supporting One Love Manchester and for helping the families as much as you possibly could. Thank you for bringing your absolute brightest, most passionate, contagious energy to these shows and for wiping my tears away. I’m immensely grateful!!!! I hope you can feel my love, wherever you are because I’m sending you all that I’ve got. See you so soon. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Ariana is set to become an honorary Mancunian on July 12.

The singer is to be recognized by the city after raising money for those affected by the terror attack, which left 22 people dead and more than 50 injured.

Manchester Town hall boss Sir Richard Leese recently said: "We’ve all had cause to be incredibly proud of Manchester and the resilient and compassionate way in which the city responded to the terrible events of May 22 with love and courage, rather than hatred and fear.

"Ariana exemplified this response. I think many people would already consider her an honorary Mancunian, and we would be delighted to make it official."

Hailey Baldwin dating model

Hailey Baldwin is dating a hunky male model.

The 20-year-old beauty was introduced to Cameron Dallas, 22, by mutual friends and after spending a lot of time together, including at the Met Gala last month, their bond has grown increasingly romantic.

A source said: "[They] met through friends and had an instant connection. They are both signed with IMG [modeling] agency and run in the same friend group.

"Hailey has been friends with Cameron for a while now. But most recently they’ve taken their friendship to the next level."

However, things are said to be casual between the pair as neither of them "want anything serious" right now.

The source told E! News: "Hailey wants to keep it low-key between them. It’s not serious, but they are definitely into each other."

And while another insider confirmed Hailey and Cameron have been "hanging out" but are not exclusively dating, they think that could change.

The source said: "Hailey likes him so time will tell."

The new couple were spotted at a party thrown by their modelling agency at Delilah restaurant in Los Angeles on Wednesday (06.07.17), where they mingled with their mutual friends, but hadn’t arrived together, though they were pictured leaving afterwards.

The source said: "They weren’t together all night, but they had plans to be together after the party."

Hailey previously dated Justin Bieber and, after they split, admitted she found it difficult being in a relationship with someone in the public eye.

She said: "I don’t want attention out of dating somebody.

"It’s hard to date somebody in this industry. You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else."

Selena Gomez: One Love Manchester was ‘beautiful’

Selena Gomez has praised Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester benefit concert as "beautiful".

The 23-year-old singer hosted the concert on Sunday (04.06.17) at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground in the English city to raise funds for those affected by the terrorist atrocity which killed 22 people and left more than 50 injured after the star’s concert at Manchester Arena on May 22.

And now Selena, who wasn’t among those asked to perform at the show, has said everyone involved did a "beautiful job", and even took a moment to praise ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber for his "great" performances of ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Cold Water’.

The 24-year-old singer told American radio station SiriusXM’s ‘The Morning Mash Up’ on Monday (05.06.17): "It was beautiful. I thought everyone did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how she ended it. I thought Justin did great."

Over the course of the evening, stars such as Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, Take That, Coldplay, Niall Horan, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Little Mix, and Liam Gallagher all took to the stage to raise money for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

Whilst on stage, Ariana took a moment to thank the crowd – 14,000 of whom were at her show when the attack happened – for being the "medicine that the world really needs right now."

She said: "Before we go any further, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being here today. I love you so so much. Thank you. I want to thank you so much for coming together and being so loving and strong and unified. I love you guys so much and I think that the kind of love and unity we’re displaying is the medicine that the world really needs right now. So I want to thank you for being just that."

The star – who fought back tears for most of her performance – then spoke about meeting with the mother of 15-year-old Olivia Campbell who was killed in the atrocity, and said she’d changed the whole setlist of the evening in order to comply with the young girl’s wishes.

She continued: "And I want to also say I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia’s mommy a few days ago. And as soon as I met her I started crying and I gave her a big hug and she said that I should stop crying because Olivia wouldn’t have wanted me to cry. And then she told me that Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits.

"So that means that we had a totally different show planned and we had a rehearsal yesterday where we changed everything and this evening has been so light and so filled with fun and love and bright energy and I want to thank you for that."

Justin Bieber ‘pokes fun at Donald Trump’ during One Love Manchester

Justin Bieber poked fun at US President Donald Trump backstage at the One Love concert in Manchester on Sunday (06.04.17).

The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker reportedly made a joke about the billionaire businessman during Niall Horan’s set at the event in Manchester, which was designed to raise money for the victims of last month’s attack in the city.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Justin was dancing to Niall’s new song ‘Slow Hands’ and laughed when someone thought it was called ‘Small Hands’.

"He quipped, ‘No, that’s our President’. He then added of Niall’s tune, ‘That’s a hit right there’."

President Trump has been ridiculed for his supposedly small hands for decades, and it’s something he’s even made reference to during his political campaigning.

Justin was joined at the event in Manchester by a star-studded list of performers, including Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande.

However, Usher – who was originally scheduled to appear at the show – missed the concert to be with his diabetic son on his first day of summer camp.

The singer-songwriter took to social media to reveal he wasn’t able to make it to the UK because he was with his son Usher Raymond V.

He wrote on Instagram: "So happy to see that last night’s concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails.

"I would have loved to be there but It was my son’s first day at Camp Kudzu, one of the few summer camps for kids living with diabetes. This was an important day for him and for myself as a proud father. Stay strong UK. (sic)"

But, in a previous post, Usher appeared in a video to tell Manchester his heart was with the city.

He said in the clip: "My heart is with you, Manchester. I’m so sorry for all of your loss and all the pain that you’ve gone through. My family and I send our heartfelt condolences to each and every one of you at this difficult time.

"We need to love each other. We need to be good to each other. Stay strong, be united, because only through that love can we help we help each other heal."
