Sofia Richie’s special relationship with Justin Bieber

Sofia Richie has a "special relationship" with Justin Bieber.

The 18-year-old model – whose parents are singer Lionel Richie and his ex-wife Diane Alexander – is believed to have been dating the ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer for the last few months and she enjoys hanging out with the 22-year-old pop star because he is "easy to talk to".

She told the new style issue of Billboard magazine: "We have a special relationship. Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles."

Despite the attention her relationship receives, Sofia insists she doesn’t care and has learned how to cope with the trickier sides of fame from watching how her older sister, Nicole Richie, coped in the spotlight.

She said: "I remember the paparazzi and the s**t people would say to Nicole, and she wouldn’t respond.

"I’m going to be real with you: It. Doesn’t. Bother. Me. As long as I’m happy."

Having Lionel as a father means Sofia has been around famous people all her life, but she still gets starstruck by some of his pals.

She recalled: "One night he intercoms me, like, ‘Come have dinner in the studio’.

"So I go down and it’s my dad and Pharrell Williams. I’m like, ‘I can’t just sit here and casually have a dinner with you two! I’m so sorry, I’ve got to go back upstairs.’ "

But now she’s legally an adult, Sofia is ready to move out of the family home.

She insisted: "It’s time to go."

However, the ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’ hitmaker will miss having her around because she’s a big influence on his wardrobe.

She said: "My dad can leave the house looking a little crazy. I have to tell him to change."

Justin Bieber was ‘so thankful’ someone bought him lunch

Justin Bieber was "so thankful" when a kind stranger bought his lunch for him after his card was declined.

Kody Christansen stepped in to foot the bill for the 22-year-old singer in a West Hollywood branch of Subway last Thursday (09.01.16), because he wanted to save the ‘Sorry’ singer the embarrassment of having to step out in front of waiting paparazzi to get an alternative means of payment.

Speaking to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, Kody said: "[Justin] put his card into the machine and it was declined. He said, ‘I have to run out and get another card.’ I decided to pay it for him to spare him the second trip out into the crush of about 20 photographers. I said, ‘I got it.’ And he asked if I was sure. He was so thankful."

Kody – an actor who also works as a waiter in Soho – admitted that he was going to keep the encounter to himself out of "respect" for the ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker, but when the news got out anyway he decided to open up.

He said: "I wasn’t going to tell anyone out of respect for him … I didn’t want it to get out that he had his card declined."

The kind stranger also revealed that just one year previous to his encounter with the superstar, he was living on the streets in New York. He claimed that he spent time living in "four or five homeless shelters" as a result of a drug and alcohol addiction he developed whilst trying to chase his acting career.

The former homeless man was in LA to sign copies of his recently released memoir ‘Hollywood Heartbreak, New York Dreams’, and he gave a copy of the tome to Justin.

He said: "He was totally cool with me and took an interest in my book. I was living in a New York City homeless shelter a year ago, and now I’m buying one of the biggest stars in the world lunch."

Justin Bieber’s credit card was declined at Subway.

The 22-year-old pop star is worth millions and was no doubt left embarrassed after a fan reportedly recognised him and offered to pay for his meal at a branch of the sandwich shop in West Hollywood on Thursday (01.09.16).

A source told DailyMail.com that one of the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker’s beliebers footed the bill for his impressive order of a foot-long sandwich, four bottles of milk and cookies.

The pop hunk dropped by the store on 8859 Sunset Boulevard with his girlfriend Sofia Richie, who was waiting in his car.

The couple had taken a visit to Barney’s in New York on the same day as Bieber’s Subway pitstop.

It comes after the ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer and Sofia – who is Lionel Richie’s daughter – jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for her 18th birthday at the weekend and amped up the heat after sizzling pictures of them locked in a series of steamy embraces – and with Justin semi-naked – emerged on the internet.

Meanwhile, Justin is currently on a hiatus from Instagram after he shocked Beliebers across the world when he decided to deactivate his account on the photo sharing platform after a public spat with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The ‘As Long As You Love Me’ hitmaker opted to close down his profile when he feuded with Selena, 23, over a comment he made about his fans being mean to the people he likes.

He wrote at the time: "I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like (sic)"

However, Selena wasn’t having any of it, telling the star: "If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you (sic)."

And Justin soon fired back: "It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers (sic)."

Cruz Beckham is learning guitar in a bid for pop stardom after a clip of him singing went viral.

The 11-year-old child of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and retired soccer player David Beckham wants to become a singer and has taken up the instrument to improve his musicianship.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cruz has a natural affinity with music and he’s been desperate to learn the guitar. He’s had lessons for months and is constantly strumming away, singing along.

"Obviously he still has far to go, but there’s certainly potential there.

"He’s got a natural stage presence."

The news of Cruz’s new musical venture comes four months after his mother Victoria posted a video on Instagram of the schoolboy singing. The clip went viral, and it wasn’t long before it caught the attention of Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun. The move to learn guitar comes as Cruz aims to make himself an all-round performer.

Cruz – who has two brothers Brookyln, 17, and Romeo, 13, as well as a sister, four-year-old Harper – isn’t the only young Beckham to be thinking about their career already. Brooklyn has decided he wants a future in photography, as he knew "straight away" that it was something he wanted to do.

He said previously: "I studied photography in high school and straight away I knew it was something I was interested in.

"When I left school I started shooting in my spare time and really started enjoying it. I bought a few books and then I ended up interning for David Sims on a couple of shoots."

Fashion designer Victoria, 41, has also expressed her pride in her children, saying that they are "hard-working" and that she couldn’t ask for more.

She said: "You don’t have a rule book when you have a child. You just do the best that you can and I think the kids are doing a pretty good job.

"They’re well-mannered, hard-working, they’re fun and they’re happy kids. So what more can you ask for?"

The ‘What Do You Mean’ hitmaker shocked Beliebers across the world when he decided to deactivate his account on the photo sharing platform after a public spat with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Fans who now try to access the singer’s account are no longer met with an error message but are instead presented with a string of pictures and videos the 22-year-old singer has posted during his two week absence.

The ‘As Long As You Love Me’ hitmaker opted to close down his profile when he feuded with Selena, 23, over a comment he made about his fans being mean to the people he likes.

He wrote at the time: "I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like (sic)"

However, Selena wasn’t having any of it, telling the star: "If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you (sic)."

And Justin soon fired back: "It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers (sic)."

The former couple then went on to accuse each other of cheating, with Justin ending the argument by writing: "I cheated…Oh and I forgot about you and Zayn (sic)"

However, later on, Selena admitted she regretted the online spat, telling her Snapchat followers that "what she said was selfish and pointless".

Britney Spears says Justin Bieber is a "very nice and kind boy".

The ‘Piece of Me’ hitmaker remembers meeting the ‘Baby’ singer when he was just 16-years-old and has praised him for being "unassuming".

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 1 show, she said: "He walked into my hotel room and he was like a kid. Literally he looked like he was 13 years old but he was 16. And I was like, ‘Who is this kid in my hotel?’

"And my sister was like, ‘This is Justin Bieber and his mother.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, I cannot believe this.’ He’s very unassuming. He’s a very, very nice, kind boy."

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old singer previously admitted she feels sorry for the 22-year-old star because of his continued exposure in the spotlight.

She said: "Whoever is in the spotlight, people are really quick to judge. There are a lot of kids coming up who’ve experienced that. You know, Justin Bieber, he’s huge, and he experiences that. It’s just the way the world works, unfortunately …

"I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I kind of don’t pay attention to it. I have my relationship with God and myself and that’s what matters to me. I really don’t care what most people think."

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Britney has enlisted the help of a "swagger coach" to increase her confidence.

A source said: "Britney’s been gradually getting better for years and being in Vegas is a big help for her state of mind. You can see the difference in how she was in those first shows in 2013 to now.

"But it’s her new life coach – who she calls her ‘swagger coach’ – that’s helping her take things to the next level. She won’t tell anyone what they do or who he is, but it’s working. She’s more confident than she’s been in forever.

"And after years of going from one boyfriend to the next, she’s enjoying being single – she feels empowered and like she can do what she wants."

The 37-year-old singer has said he has no advice for the ‘Let Me Love You’ hitmaker after nude pictures of his manhood leaked online and has said it is "his prerogative" what he does in his spare time.

The ‘Yeah!’ hitmaker – who helped launch the Canadian pop star’s career with his manager Scooter Braun – said: "He does have a brain of his own. He listens he has a mind of his own. What he chose to do with his penis is his prerogative you know what I’m saying.

"He’s managing that aspect of his life. I have nothing to do with Justin Bieber’s private parts."

Meanwhile, the R&B superstar admits that while he always gives his protege his opinion he doesn’t feel he has to be his life mentor because Justin is so young and he won’t judge him on his past mistakes.

He told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show: "I mean, as a mentor, he’s accepted my opinion, I give my perspective. He’s like a child to me so I don’t necessarily feel like his business [coach].

"I feel like I’m talking to someone who has hardships. Like, if you child ever has difficulties … anyone listening understands nobody’s perfect."

The 22-year-old hunk was holidaying in Bora Bora in 2015 when the intimate pictures were taken and he worried his manhood would look less-than-impressive in the pictures.

He said: "I was scared. I first saw the one with the black bar over it. I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I just got out of the water. Shrinkage is real.’"

However, it seems he had nothing to worry about.

He added: "No, no. That’s as big as she gets."

The ‘Hands To Myself’ hitmaker has tried to make contact with the ‘What Do You Mean’ singer since he deleted Instagram after their very public spat but he won’t pick up.

Sources close to the 22-year-old singer told TMZ that he is fed up of constantly being at war with Selena and claims she is always trying to get involved in his business.

And the whole situation is also said to have amused Justin because Selena herself threatened to quit Instagram earlier this year because of the constant "drama". However, the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker has helped him get completely over their on off relationship, which they called off in late 2014.

Meanwhile, Selena seems repentant for her actions, which led to the singer quitting the photo sharing site.

Taking to Snapchat, she wrote: "What I said was selfish and pointless."

The feud began when Justin threatened to quit Instagram after his fans started to hate on his rumoured girlfriend Sofia Richie.

He wrote: "I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like. (sic)"

Taking to Snapchat, she wrote: "What I said was selfish and pointless."

Their bitter spat kicked off when the 22-year-old singer threatened his fans that he’d make his account private if they didn’t stop hating on his rumoured girlfriend Sofia Richie.

Under the comment, Selena had something to say and wrote: "If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you (sic)."

But Justin was hardly enamoured by her response and slammed the 24-year-old star, claiming she used him.

He wrote: "It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers (sic)."

Then the pair’s argument turned to claims about cheating, where Selena accused the singer of being unfaithful.

In retaliation, he wrote: "I cheated…Oh and I forgot about you and Zayn (sic)," appearing to reference former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
