Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber ‘still together’ but have ‘issues’

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are trying to work through their relationship issues.

The on/off couple have decided to put some space between them for a short period while they both focus on themselves and deal with their own problems.

A source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "[The distance between them is] not because they are broken up or taking a break… [But] that doesn’t mean things are perfect between them. They have issues just like any other couple."

The decision to take some temporary space comes after Selena – who underwent a kidney transplant last year – opened up about her struggles with mental health.

The source explained: "She’s still working hard, looking after her health, and doing what’s good for her… Justin isn’t walking all over her."

But, not only are they trying to deal with their own problems and manage a relationship in the spotlight, Selena’s mother Mandy Teefey isn’t happy about their recent reunion.

The insider said: "It’s not easy for Selena to be stuck in the middle. Her family not liking him is the biggest issue – but if they can get through that or if her family changes their tune, things will be a lot smoother."

Mandy addressed the 25-year-old singer’s relationship recently when she claimed she hadn’t spoken to 24-year-old Justin – even over text message – in "years".

However, she also said that Selena is old enough to make her own decisions about her personal life as long as she’s "happy, safe and healthy."

She explained: "Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.

"She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health. I do not control her the way it has been portrayed. Selena is an adult and can make her own choices."

Justin and Selena first started dating in 2009 but have been on and off for years.

Their most recent reunion came last year after Selena split from The Weeknd.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have reportedly split.

The ‘Sorry’ singer rekindled his romance with the ‘Wolves’ hitmaker in November, but they are taking a break following a string of rows, though insiders insist they will "absolutely get back together" and have stayed in regular contact, even though they’re not spending time together.

The source said: "They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to ‘break up,’ however, they’ve been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed.

"They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other."

Another insider compared the pair – who previously had an on/off relationship from 2011 to 2014 – have been "having issues" and admitted they had found the "pressure" of conducting their romance in the public eye very difficult to deal with.

The source told E! News: "They both have expressed that they have been feeling overwhelmed with a lot of pressure that has come with their public relationship, and haven’t been seeing eye to eye on things."

Selena, 25, is currently in New York and hasn’t seen Justin since the day before his birthday, which was on March 1.

And she’s said to be using her time apart from the ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker to try and "mend" her relationship with her mother Mandy Teefey, who was unhappy about her getting back together with Justin.

The source said: "Things are not amazing between them."

While they may be on a break, the ‘Bad Liar’ singer made was was thought to be her first public acknowledgement of her relationship with Justin with a birthday tribute last week.

Posting a picture of herself holding a polaroid which appears to be a photograph of Justin, Selena wrote: "March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom. (sic)"

Justin Bieber to launch clothing line

Justin Bieber looks set to launch his own clothing line after placing trademark requests on three possible brand names.

The 23-year-old singer is believed to be planning a move into the world of fashion, after documents were obtained which involve the star seeking to secure trademarks on three brand names based around his middle name, Drew.

According to The Blast, the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker has filed requests for trademarks against the names ‘The House of Drew, ‘La Maison Drew’, and just ‘Drew’.

The documents also list the "goods and services" of all three trademark requests as "clothing and wearing apparel", and were submitted by Bieber Time Holdings, LLC.

Under the "goods and services" section of the application, each trademark request reads: "Clothing and wearing apparel, namely, shirts, shorts, jeans, jackets, skirts, slacks, blouses, dresses, vests, coats, sweaters, scarves, swimsuits, robes, infants’ and children’s clothing, namely, t-shirts, sweaters, long sleeved shirts, shorts, pants, jumpers, jumpsuits, overalls, one-piece playsuits, pajamas, dresses."

Each of the requests was filed on February 16, though as of the time of writing it is unclear when the ‘Love Yourself’ singer is planning on announcing his first collection.

Justin’s decision to list baby clothes in his documents comes after it was recently revealed he is to become a big brother again after his father Jeremy – who also has Jazmyn, nine, and Jaxon, eight, from a previous relationship – and his new wife Chelsey Rebelo announced they are expecting their first child together.

Jeremy shared a photo on Instagram of Chelsey, 29, showing off her growing bump in a floral bikini.

He captioned the post: "My beautiful wife and… (sic)"

Jeremy and Chelsey tied the knot in Jamaica earlier this week, and Justin – who attended the wedding alongside his girlfriend Selena Gomez – served as a groomsman during the ceremony.

Justin Bieber is to be a big brother again.

The ‘Sorry’ singer and his girlfriend Selena Gomez flew out to Jamaica earlier this week to celebrate the nuptials between his father Jeremy Bieber and Chelsey Rebelo, and now his dad – who also has Jazmyn, nine, and Jaxon, eight, from a previous relationship – has revealed he’s expecting a baby with his new wife.

Jeremy shared a photo on Instagram of Chelsey, 29, showing off her growing bump in a floral bikini.

He captioned the post: "My beautiful wife and… (sic)"

Justin served as a groomsman when Jeremy and Chelsey tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony on Monday (02.19.18).

The ‘Believe’ hitmaker looked over the moon in several official wedding photographs shared on social media by the happy couple and their guests.

In one, he could be seen throwing his hands in the air as he rushed down the makeshift beach aisle, whilst in another he had a huge grin on his face as Jeremy and his bride took their vows.

Justin’s new stepmother shared a photograph from their special day, which featured the pop star.

She wrote: "Yesterday was the most amazing day ever. I married my best friend! I love you! (sic)"

While the 23-year-old singer’s dad simply captioned his photo: "Family."

Though the ‘Wolves’ hitmaker wasn’t visible in any of the ceremony photographs, one of the of the guests shared a picture of Selena with the bride-to-be’s twin nieces and two other attendees prior to the nuptials.

Justin flew to Texas on Sunday (02.18.18) to pick up Selena, 25, before they headed to the Caribbean together for the wedding.

Oprah Winfrey donates 500k to March for Our Lives

Oprah Winfrey has pledged $500,000 to March for Our Lives.

The media mogul was inspired by the generosity of George and Amal Clooney and agreed to match their donation to the anti-gun violence cause, which was organized by the survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting in Parkland, Florida, and will see children and families marching in the streets of Washington D.C. on March 24 to protest gun violence and mass shootings.

She tweeted: "George and Amal, I couldn’t agree with you more. I am joining forces with you and will match your $500,000 donation to ‘March For Our Lives.’ These inspiring young people remind me of the Freedom Riders of the 60s who also said we’ve had ENOUGH and our voices will be heard."

George And Amal – who made the donation in the name of their eight-month-old twins Ella and Alexander – revealed they are planning to march alongside those at the protest, after being moved by the students of Stoneman Douglas High School.

In a statement, the ‘Money Monster’ star said: "Amal and I are so inspired by the courage and eloquence of these young men and women from Stoneman Douglas High School. Our family will be there on March 24 to stand side by side with this incredible generation of young people from all over the country, and in the name of our children Ella and Alexander, we’re donating 500,000 dollars to help pay for this groundbreaking event. Our children’s lives depend on it."

Steven Spielberg and producer Jeffrey Katzenberg have both reportedly donated $500,000 to the cause, while other stars who have raised awareness for the initiative include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Morgan Freeman.

Instead of wedding gifts, ‘Trainwreck’ actress Amy Schumer asked for donations be made to Everytown for Gun Safety when she and Chris Fischer tied the knot last week.

Justin Bieber proudly took on the role of groomsman at his father Jeremy Bieber’s wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica on Monday (19.02.18).

The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker looked over the moon in several official wedding photographs shared on social media yesterday (20.02.18).

In one he can be seen throwing his hands in the air as he rushed down the makeshift beach aisle, whilst in another he had a huge grin on his face as Jeremy and his new wife Chelsey Rebelo took their vows.

Justin’s new stepmother shared a photograph from their special day, which featured the pop star.

She wrote: "Yesterday was the most amazing day ever. I married my best friend! I love you! (sic)"

The pair have been on/off for years after they first started dating in December 2010 and then split in November 2012, but he is said to be glad about having a second chance with the singer.

A source recently said: "Justin wants to be a better man because he doesn’t want to screw things up with Selena. He knows he’s lucky to have this second chance and he’s not taking it for granted."

According to PEOPLE, the 23-year-old singer flew to Texas on Sunday (02.18.18) to pick up Selena, 25, before they headed to the Caribbean together for the wedding.

Jeremy took to his Instagram account on Sunday to share a picture of himself and Chelsey at the bottom of some airplane steps.

He captioned the image: "Times. (sic)"

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux split over a disagreement about where they should live.

The pair have revealed that they decided to part ways at the end of last year after two and a half years of marriage and sources close to them have claimed that a difference of opinion on where to live was one of the main causes for the break up, with Jennifer preferring Los Angeles, while Justin opting for New York.

An insider explained to ETOnline: "He much prefers being [in New York] and that’s been a major issue for them for a long time.

"Justin has a very diverse friend group, and he likes that they’re not all ‘in the industry. He’s friends with people in the restaurant world, writers, comedians, artists, tattoo artists. It’s an eclectic group and he doesn’t have that type of network in LA.

"Justin can hop on his [motorcycle], walk in the neighborhood, hang at a bar and all that without being bothered, but for Jen, the paparazzi are all over her.

"He really wanted her to be comfortable [in New York. He even negotiated with the paps to make a deal that they would only shoot her once per day and then leave her alone. He also agreed to move out of his apartment, which he loves."

"She just never really could get settled in, she wasn’t happy [in New York. He was bicoastal, she was not."

The source added that the pair fought to make their relationship work but were ultimately unsuccessful.

The insider explained: "They really were a great couple. And they cared a lot about each other. Justin was always really protective of her. They both wanted this to work."

Justin, 46, and Jennifer, 49, announced their split this week, following increased speculation about the state of their marriage.

In a joint statement, the former couple said: "In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.

"Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Selena Gomez’s mother ‘doesn’t approve of her relationship’

Selena Gomez is reportedly trying to convince her mother to accept her relationship with Justin Bieber.

The ‘Wolves’ singer and her boyfriend rekindled their romance in 2017, but Selena is having to insist to Mandy Teefey that the ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker – who has previously been involved in a number of controversies – is a changed man.

A source said: "Selena is still trying to convince her mom that Justin has changed for the better. There is still animosity there and her mom hasn’t turned a full leaf and accepted the relationship."

The brunette beauty has reportedly made some headway with her mother, but Mandy is still not entirely convinced that Justin is the ideal boyfriend for her daughter.

The insider explained to Hollywood Life: "It is certainly better but it seems it’s going to still take some time for her mom to change her thoughts on Justin.

"She still is in protect Selena mode and she always will be, but Justin isn’t out of the woods just yet as her mom still needs much more convincing things have really changed for the better."

However, it might prove difficult given that ’13 Reasons Why’ co-producer Mandy recently claimed she hasn’t spoken to Justin – even over text message – in "years", and admitted she is "not happy" with the relationship.

Justin Bieber a ‘sweet supportive’ boyfriend to Selena Gomez after rehab

Justin Bieber is supporting girlfriend Selena Gomez as she readjusts to life after her stint in rehab.

The ‘Wolves’ singer – who has spoken publicly about her mental health issues including anxiety and depression – was reported to have spent two weeks at the Privé-Swiss rehab facility in Connecticut last month.

And after her 23-year-old boyfriend whisked her off on a romantic getaway to Laguna Beach, it has been claimed he’s doing his best to support her in her recovery.

A source revealed: "It was [one of] her first nights out in public since rehab. They were seated away from all the action outside by the pool for privacy. They seemed very sweet together, cozying up and canoodling. He was being very tender and attentive … a sweet, supportive boyfriend."

Selena, 25, is said to be a big fan of the hotel, and also spent time there with her ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd.

Another insider told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: "She stays there a lot … She’s on and off with Justin, but they’re back on … for now."

The couple appear very much back on, spent the weekend staying at the luxurious Montage Hotel for a romantic pre-Valentine’s Day getaway.
