Selena Gomez: I like bad boys

Selena Gomez has a "weakness" for bad boys.

The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ hitmaker admits she has a particular preference when it comes to the men she dates.

She said: "I have a weakness for bad guys. Bad boys."

And the 23-year-old singer also praised her "girl crushes" Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence for being "a whole lot of what women should be more of".

When asked who her girl crushes are in a behind-the-scenes video for Marie Claire magazine, she added: "Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence. Them together, in particular. I think they’re just a whole lot of what women should be more of."

Meanwhile, the ‘Good For You’ beauty previously admitted she is "so done" with all the speculation surrounding her romances, particularly her five year on/off relationship with Justin Bieber.

She said: "At first I didn’t care. To me it was: I’m 18, I have a boyfriend, we look cute together, we like that. Then I got my heart broken and I cared. Because people had no idea what was going on, but everywhere it was a million different things. I was kind of in a corner, banging my head against the wall. I didn’t know where to go.

"I’m so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore."

And when it comes to the women in her life, Selena credits her close pal Taylor Swift for being there for her "through thick and thin".

She said: "I mean I’ve known her for ten years she’s been one of my best friends through thick and thin, walked by my side. Her whole family has been so supportive of me and yeah, she’s been there during crucial points in my life and in my career.

"She’s known for embracing her personal story and creating a beautiful thing out of it and I was a little hesitant with that and she was always the person to encourage me to tell my story and be proud of who I am."

Selena Gomez destroys fan’s Bieber sign

Selena Gomez destroyed a fan’s "Marry Justin Please" sign at her concert in Fresno, California on Sunday night (08.05.16).

The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ hitmaker – who dated pop superstar Justin Bieber, 22, on and off for three years until 2014 – become infuriated when she spotted the handmade sign pleading her to reconcile her romance with the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker.

A 30-second video, which has now gone viral on social media, shows the singer pointing towards the piece of paper and being handed it, before screwing it up and throwing it over to the opposite side of the stage before she resumed her song.

It comes as no surprise that the 23-year-old beauty is annoyed to see her fans bringing up her ex-boyfriend at her ‘Revival Tour’ concert as she recently said she’s getting irritated by having to constantly answer questions about their relationship.

She previously said: "I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life.

"I would leave a room feeling defeated, feeling embarrassed, but I would always make sure to put that smile on my face because I wasn’t got to let them get to me."

Selena even shunned a Met Gala after- party so she didn’t run into Justin and his new flame Hailey Baldwin.

A source said: "Selena and her girls were supposed to go to the after-party at The Boom Boom Room, but when she found out Justin was going to be there, she changed her plans. She didn’t want to be there with Justin and Hailey. It’s a small place and that would just be way too uncomfortable."

Meanwhile, the pop star has started "dating" again, but admits she finds it hard to "trust" people.

She said: "I’ve been dating. I’ve been having the best time. But I don’t trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I’m going to have fun."

Hailey Baldwin breaks foot

Hailey Baldwin has broken her foot.

Exactly one year after the 19-year-old model broke a bone in her foot after first twisting her ankle on the night of the Met Gala, she has suffered an identical injury.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday (05.04.16), two days after the Met Gala, Hailey wrote: "Last night I twisted my ankle the night of MetBall and last year I broke my foot the day after… (sic)."

She later added: "Ya girl broke her foot in the same place on the exact same day a year later…. WHAT IS IT WITH ME AND METBALL? Lol (sic)."

It is not clear exactly how Hailey’s injury occurred.

Last year Hailey was spotted wearing a brace for over a month as she recovered from breaking her foot.

She tweeted: "Potentially just broke my ankle on my way to the airport but at least the Margiela’s are looking good," before confirming the news with a message which read "broke my lil foot (sic)."

Meanwhile, Hailey has enjoyed an on/off romance with Justin Bieber, 22, over the past year and recently admitted that dating a celebrity is not ideal.

She said: "I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls … it’s hard to date somebody in this industry.

"You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else. And you have to, as best you can, block out all the extra noise."

And while Hailey doesn’t want attention just for who she dates, she is also determined not to make a name for herself because of her famous friends, including Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

She added: "I just want people to look at me for what I’m doing right now. I would rather people be talking about me as an individual."

Celine Dion to receive 2016 Billboard Icon Award

Celine Dion will receive the Icon Award and perform Queen’s ‘The Show Must Go On’ at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards (BMAs).

The 48-year-old singer will be recognized for her 36-year career at the upcoming ceremony by becoming just the fifth person to receive the prestigious accolade, following in the footsteps of Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, the late Prince and Jennifer Lopez.

Celine – whose beloved husband René Angelil and brother Daniel Dion both died of cancer earlier this year – also personally chose the Queen song to perform on May 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and BMA Executive Producer Mark Bracco thinks the song is a fitting choice.

Mark said in a statement on Wednesday (05.04.16): "Celine Dion has a huge repertoire of monster hits and she personally chose to perform ‘The Show Must Go On’ as her Icon performance on the Billboard Music Awards. I think at this moment in her life, the song has many meanings and it’s an amazing choice."

The Icon award will join Celine’s many other career accomplishments, including another 10 Billboard awards and five Grammies, while she has also sold a staggering

250 million albums worldwide.

Celine was just 12 years old when she began her writing and recording music but her career really took off in the 90s when she moved away from her native French and began releasing records in English.

And things escalated in the latter part of the decade, largely thanks to recording ‘My Heart Will Go On’, the theme from hit 1997 movie ‘Titanic’, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as doomed lovers aboard the ill-fated ship.

Celine – who married René, her manager, in 1994 – has had a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino for the last five years, but took a break in August 2014 to support her husband through his cancer battle, and also called off a number of shows at the beginning of the year following her spouse’s death, before returning to the stage on February 23 for the first time.

However, the ‘Think Twice’ singer – who had sons Rene-Charles, 15, and five-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy with her husband – is currently on a break from the run of shows and will return on May 17.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber and Pink will all perform at the BMAs and more artists are to be announced in the coming weeks.

Rapper Ludacris and R ‘n’ B star Ciara will host the annual awards show on Sunday, May 22 at 8 pm.

Prince’s jibe at Justin Bieber

Prince described Justin Bieber as a mediocre artist in a never-before-seen interview

The late ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker had a phenomenal pop career which spanned five decades and saw him release 35 albums on which he mastered all musical genres.

Since his shock death at the age of 57 last month an interview he conducted in 2014 for Rolling Stone magazine has now surfaced in which he took aim with a jibe against ‘Sorry’ singer Justin, whom he claimed epitomized record labels obsession with signing a personality over a purely talented individual.

In the Q&A, Prince said: "You’re trying to find the personality first, make sure you’ve got that locked in. And it’s better if they got scandal on ’em or a reality show or sex tape. And they have it down to an art. They’re getting street cred for Justin Bieber now!"

Prince conducted the interview at his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis when he was aged 55 and Justin was 20. It was intended to run as a cover on the magazine but was later scrapped and this is the first time excerpts from the chat have been released.

Tom Parker to invite Beckhams to his wedding

Tom Parker wants Victoria and David Beckham to come to his wedding.
The ‘Glad You Came’ hitmaker met the Beckhams when his band The Wanted performed at their son Romeo’s 10th birthday party in 2012 and would love for the retired soccer star and fashion designer – who also have Brooklyn, 17, Cruz, 11, and four-year-old Harper – to attend his forthcoming nuptials to fiancée Kelsey Hardwick.
Tom, 27, exclusively told BANG showbiz: "I’m definitely going to invite the Beckhams to my wedding. I love them. We did Romeo’s birthday a couple of years ago so that was such an unbelievable experience – they’re such a nice family so that would be cool if they could come. They’ll definitely be getting an invite. "
The hunky singer – who plans on getting married in 2017 – is a massive soccer fan and idolises the former England captain.
He added: "David Beckham is literally my idol. When I was growing up I used to love soccer, well I still do, but I used to buy all these soccer boots and I genuinely thought I was David Beckham."
Tom is planning on inviting lots of stars to his wedding including Justin Bieber – who shared the same manager Scooter Braun as his band – but he doubts the pop superstar will come.
He said: "Well, we were signed to the same management company and we all got really close when we signed there so, yeah, if he turns up that will be great. But I won’t be holding my breath with that one. "

Justin Bieber faces Prince fan backlash

Justin Bieber has angered fans with a thoughtless response to a Prince tribute.
The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker has faced a backlash after appearing to take issue with guitarist Andrew Watt hailing the late singer – who was found dead at his Paisley Park estate yesterday (21.04.16) – as
"the last of the greatest living performers."
Responding to the former California Breed guitarist’s lengthy Instagram post paying tribute to his idol, Justin commented: "Well not the last greatest living performer."
His post has since been deleted, but not before sparking outrage online.
One follower blasted: "I’m content to say that Prince has more talent in his little toe nail than @justinbeiber will ever have (sic)"
Another posted: "R.I.P Prince #legend can’t believe Bieber disrespected him like this, shame (sic)"
Justin is one of very few stars not to have spoken out following Prince’s passing.
Meanwhile, Andrew’s original post hailed Prince as his "guitar idol" and lamented how the world will be much less "cool" without him.
Alongside a photo of himself on stage in a Prince T-shirt, he wrote: "This past Tuesday night before my show I was picking out an outfit…
"I was so tired from the past week of endless traveling and gigging that I grabbed my Prince shirt and said f**k it I’m gonna channel the purple one tonight…
"I didn’t shower after the gig out of pure exhaustion…I went to sleep in that shirt and then I wore it again all day yesterday…
"today waking up to this news I am truly beside myself…devastated…the last of the greatest living performers…my guitar idol…his connection to ALL his instruments yielded a sexual transcending aura and the world is just less fucking cool without him walking on it…
""Electric word life It means forever and that’s a mighty long time But I’m here to tell you There’s something else… The after world" #RIPPRINCE (sic)"

Hailey Baldwin hates people standing ‘too close’ to her

Hailey Baldwin hates when people "stand too close" to her.
The 19-year-old model – who is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin and niece of Alec Baldwin – finds it especially irritating when a person invades her personal space and decides it’s OK to get so close she can feel them breathe.
Asked what her "pet peeve" is by Hashtaglegend.com, the beauty revealed: "A pet peeve of mine is when people stand too close to you unnecessarily, like you know when someone’s so close to you that you hear them (breathes deeply) in your ear? And you’re just like, ‘Why are you so close to me?’ "
Hailey – who was romantically linked to Justin Bieber at the beginning of the year – is close friends with fellow models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner and she insists her "squad" are all just normal people with abnormal jobs.
She said: "I don’t think of famous friends as ‘famous friends’ they are just my ‘friends’ and the people I have relationships. It’s all very normal, we’re just normal humans at the end of the day, are jobs and our lifestyles may not be normal, but what we do together is what any other normal people our age are doing."
Hailey realizes the modeling business has changed and a person’s social media presence now has a huge influence on their career.
But the blonde starlet – who has 5.2 million followers on Instagram and 643,000 on Twitter – enjoys interacting with her fans.
She said: "Social media plays a huge part in my life and a huge part in my career. In this day and age it has completely taken over. By being yourself is how you can be a role model, being real and letting people in on how you really are is how you become a role model."

Ruby Rose: It’s a compliment when people say I turned them gay

Ruby Rose takes it as a "compliment" when women tell her she has "turned them gay".
The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star admits that while it’s not a "possibility" for straight girls to become gay just because they find her attractive, she finds it endearing when they message her on social media with gushing comments about how they’ve fallen for her, but she just laughs it off.
In an interview with Galore magazine, the openly lesbian and gender fluid actress said: "When people say to me that I turned them gay, I just laugh, because that’s not really even a possibility. I just think that, as human beings, we are drawn to what we can’t have.
"We are drawn to fantasy over reality, and often are in love with an idea of a situation rather than the reality of it. I think people like the idea of ‘turning gay for someone,’ but it’s not actually that simple. Ultimately, that statement is just a form of endearment or a compliment, but it’s not real."
Ruby’s striking androgynous look often draws her comparisons with Justin Bieber.
Although she doesn’t see the resemblance herself she takes it as a complement because Justin is a beautiful "21-year-old boy".
She said: "If I’m going for a skate and I have a hat on, people say, ‘Oh, you look like Justin.’ And we do dress very similarly, but facial structure-wise, I feel like we don’t look anything alike.
"It’s just funny that sometimes we wear the same thing to the same place, and we’re like, ‘Aww man … why are we doing this to ourselves?’ But honestly, it’s such a compliment, because he’s a 21-year-old boy and I’m not 21 anymore, so that’s kind of awesome."

Hailey Baldwin: The industry is ‘scary’

Hailey Baldwin finds the showbiz industry "quite scary".
The 19-year-old model admits it can be quite daunting joining the industry at such a young age because of all the rumours surrounding her life.
She said: "Oh boy. This whole industry can be very crazy, it’s very fake and can actually be quite scary at times. But I think the biggest LOL for me was that I was pregnant and engaged to be married."
And Hailey has had the added bonus of seeking advice from her father, ‘The Usual Suspects’ star Stephen Baldwin and her uncle Alec Baldwin.
She shared: "I guess you could say that people definitely pay more attention to everything I do because of my family."
When asked what advice her dad has given her, she added to MTV News: "To always make sure I’m doing everything I can to take care of myself!"
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty – who has been romantically linked to Justin Bieber in the past – previously admitted a relationship with him could be "complicated".
She shared: "He’s not my boyfriend. He’s going on tour and relationships are just complicated. Everyone is making this to be such a big deal and it’s really not. And it’s just between me and him."
