Born to Be Somebody, a new song penned by Diane Warren especially for pop star Justin Bieber, will make its debut playing over the end credits of his upcoming 3-D concert documentary, Never Say Never, which opens in theatres February 11, reports MTV.
The inspirational track will be officially released a few days later on February 14, when Bieber’s new album, Never Say Never – The Remixes, hits shelves. The remix album features big name collaborators Chris Brown, Rascal Flatts and Miley Cyrus, who have teamed up with Bieber on some of his most popular tracks.
At the New York premiere of his movie, the pop star seemed excited to share the song with his fans, postponing his Q&A session until the credits had finished rolling. "Turn the music up!" he shouted, "They gotta hear the new song."
The ballad was written specifically for the movie by famed songwriter Diane Warren (Un-break My Heart, I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing), who won a Golden Globe last month for her song You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me, which was performed by Cher in the musical Burlesque.
"That’s a good age difference between Cher and Justin — 40 years!" Warren commented to The Hollywood Reporter.
