The 23-year-old singer accidentally struck Maurice Lamont with his huge pick-up truck as he left The City Church service in Beverly Hills last week, and luckily for he star, he won’t face charges over the mishap as it was an accident.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ.com that Justin "had no intent to strike the paparazzo when he left church last week", and so police "are not recommending any criminal charges against him".

"Isn’t that something? He’s a good kid though. I think the truck was a little bit too big for him though ’cause there’s no way he could see over the front.

Justin Bieber addresses tour cancellation

Justin Bieber has finally addressed his tour cancellation, calling it his way of staying "sustainable".

The 23-year-old singer recently shocked the world when he pulled out of the final 14 dates of his extensive ‘Purpose World Tour’, and on Wednesday (02.08.17) the star finally took to Instagram to share a lengthy note with his fans explaining his decision.

The note read: "Im so grateful for this journey with all of you.. Im grateful for the tours but most of all I am grateful i get to go through this life WITH YOU.! Learning and growing hasn’t always been easy but knowing I im not alone has kept me going. I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times.

"I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the way I treated them! i let bitterness, jealously and fear run my life.!!!! I am extremely blessed to have people in the past few years help me build my character back up reminding me of who I am and who I want to be!!!

"Reminding me my past decisions and past relationships don’t dictate my future decisions and future relationships. Im VERY aware I’m never gonna be perfect, and I’m gonna keep making mistakes but what I’m not gonna do is let my past dictate my future.. What I’m not gonna do is be ashamed of my mistakes. I wanna be a man that learns from them and grows from them.!!

"I want you all to know this tour has been unbelievable and has taught me so much about myself.. I am reminded of how blessed I am to have a voice in this world. I’ve learned the more you appreciate your calling he more you want to protect your calling. (sic)"

He continued: "Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE.. I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind heart and soul to be sustainable. So that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be and the father I want to be.

"This message is just an opportunity for you to know my heart, I’m not expecting anyone to understand, but I do want people to have an opportunity to understand where I am coming from! THIS MESSAGE IS IS VERY GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT BUT ITS FROM THE HEART. BUT I ITHINK THERES SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT IMPERFECTIONS!!" (sic)"

Justin Bieber’s dad flies to LA

Justin Bieber’s father has flown to Los Angeles to spend some quality time with him.

Jeremy Bieber, 42, jetted in to LA from Ontario, Canada, last weekend with the pop star’s half-brother Jaxon, seven, and he was spotted driving around in a convertible behind the ‘Never Say Never’ hitmaker’s vehicle.

Sources have told gossip TMZ that Jeremy has flown over to spend some time with his son after a tough last month in which he axed the remaining 14 dates of his ‘Purpose World Tour’ and accidentally hit a photographer with his car.

It’s not known how much Justin has seen Jeremy this year but his dad is said to be keen to reconnect.

There has been speculation Justin may have dropped the remainder of his tour dates to focus on religion, but Hillsong Church pastor Carl Lentz is not thought to have agreed with the singer’s decision and advised him not to pull out of the gigs.

A source recently said: "The church didn’t tell Justin to cancel the tour."

Justin is thought to have chosen to axe the concerts to focus on "spiritual soul-searching".

The insider added: "He made his decision based on spiritual soul-searching and his own view of the path in life he should be taking."

Last week, Justin accidentally hit photographer Maurice Lamont in his vehicle when he was driving away from a Hillsong religious meeting, but the paparazzo insisted the 23-year-old star is a "good kid".

He said: "Hours before my birthday hits, I get ran over by Justin Bieber. Isn’t that something?

"He’s a good kid though. I think the truck is a little big for him. Cause there is no way he could see over the front."

Justin’s mother is Pattie Mallette, while Jeremy also has two children, Jaxon, and nine-year-old Jazmyn, from his seven-year relationship with Erin Wagner, which ended in 2014.

Louis Tomlinson doesn’t agree with Justin Bieber’s tour cancellation

Louis Tomlinson thinks Justin Bieber should have finished his ‘Purpose World Tour’.

The 23-year-old singer recently announced he was cancelling the final 14 dates on his extensive 18-month tour due to "unforeseen circumstances" which have seen been reportedly linked to "exhaustion", but One Direction hunk Louis believes the star should have "seen it through" to the end out of love for his fans.

Speaking to 92.3 AMP Radio, the 25-year-old ‘Back To You’ hitmaker said: "Obviously, you have to be in a good position mentally, but I also think, to a certain degree, when you’re signing up to something, you should see it through.

"There’s never enough that I can say or do for the fans, and honestly, I think people can forget that to be quite honest. The whole game is so exciting and crazy, but at the end of the day, it’s the people who are buying the records that are putting you where you are."

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker is "truly exhausted" after battling a tough touring schedule.

A source said: "He didn’t feel like he could give the rest of the tour as much energy as his fans deserve. He is a perfectionist and didn’t want to disappoint fans with some half-ass performance. He thinks his fans deserve and should expect the same performance at the end of the tour as in the beginning. He just didn’t have that passion right now. He is truly exhausted."

And whilst the insider insists this cancellation doesn’t mark a permanent end to the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker’s touring days, the star does need time to "focus on [his] own mental health."

They added: "It’s a mental exhaustion that very few people understand. It seems very fair, although understandably disappointing to his fans, that he canceled the rest of the tour. It’s a mature way of saying, ‘Sorry, I need to focus on my own health for a bit.’

"It wasn’t an easy decision for him. He has had this feeling before though and knows he has to just take a break from performing. It doesn’t mean he will never tour again – of course he will. He loves touring. Let the guy rest, and he will come back even better."

Justin Bieber’s tour cancellation ‘doesn’t involve’ Hillsong Church

Justin Bieber’s decision to cancel the remainder of his tour "does not involve" the Hillsong Church.

The 23-year-old singer announced earlier this week he would be cancelling the remaining 14 dates of his ‘Purpose World Tour’ due to "unforeseen circumstances", and after it was reported his decision was influenced by his relationship with the religious movement, a spokesperson for the church has now denied the claims.

The spokesperson told the Daily Mail newspaper: "The recent announcement by Justin Bieber about his tour does not involve Hillsong Church. We wish Justin the best for his future."

The news comes after a Hillsong Church source said the church didn’t "tell" the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker to cancel his tour.

They said: "The church didn’t tell Justin to cancel the tour."

Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that Justin’s decision came as he was "truly exhausted" from an extensive 18 months on the road.

An insider said: "He didn’t feel like he could give the rest of the tour as much energy as his fans deserve. He is a perfectionist and didn’t want to disappoint fans with some half-a** performance.

Fifth Harmony supports Justin Bieber’s decision to cancel his tour

Fifth Harmony "support" Justin Bieber’s decision to cancel the remainder of his tour.

The ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker left his fans devastated when he cancelled the 14 remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour due to "unforeseen circumstances" and the girl group – which includes Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui – have spoken out in support of Justin and have said they fully understand his decision.

Normani shared: "We support him and support happiness. We know what it feels like, especially being on the road, and we’re super family-oriented. Like, for me, I get homesick a lot. He was on tour for about 18 months, so that’s a long time … He needed it."

And Lauren added to Entertainment Tonight: "No one cancels a tour unless it’s damaging for them to continue so he probably had a very good reason."

Justin previously apologised to his fans for cancelling the gigs – which had been due to take place in North America, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines – but insisted everything is "fine".

He said: "Everything’s fine. I’ve been on tour for two years. I love you guys. I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed, it’s not my heart or anything. Have a blessed day."

And his manager Scooter Braun spoke out in support of the decision and insisted his friend’s "soul and wellbeing" mean more to him than anything else.

He wrote at the time: "An incredible run. Congrats to @justinbieber on an incredible tour and thank you to the entire cast and crew for your unending support …

"And to those that won’t be able to see it … on behalf of myself, Justin and the team, we are sorry. That was never our intent. But a man’s soul and wellbeing I truly care about came first and we must all respect and honor that. Justin will be back and I know he looks forward to performing for you and with you all again. Justin Bieber accidentally hits photographer after church

Justin Bieber allegedly accidentally hit a photographer with his huge pickup truck as he left his Hillsong Church group in Los Angeles on Wednesday (07.25.17) night.

The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker got into a fluster earlier this week when he clipped a paparazzo outside the Saban Theater, where he was attending the religious service, and knocked him to the ground as he pulled away in his black Dodge Ram truck.

The incident, which took place at around 9:30pm, was captured on camera and the 23-year-old singer immediately jumped out of his vehicle to help the injured man up.

Photographs, obtained by the New York Post’s Page Six Column, showed the hunk talking to police as the happy-snapper clutched his leg and wriggled around in pain.

Justin agreed to wait with the man until the ambulance arrived to assess his injuries and even managed to squeeze a smile out of him as he joked around with him.

The 57-year-old man – whose identity is not yet known – reportedly told Justin he was "fine" but was later taken to hospital anyway with his non-life threatening injuries.

According to ABC7, Kourney and Khloe Kardashian had also attended the service at the church but were not present when the "low speed" collision took place.

Meanwhile, Justin has had a tough time recently as he announced earlier this week that he had decided to cancel the remaining dates of his ‘Purpose’ World Tour, leaving fans across North America, Japan, Singapore, and The Philippines disappointed.

He said at the time: "Everything’s fine. I’ve been on tour for two years. I love you guys. I think you guys are awesome. Sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed, it’s not my heart or anything. Have a blessed day."

Justin now plans to spend some time resting and relaxing and riding his bike collection.

John Mayer defends Justin Bieber after he cancels tour

John Mayer has defended Justin Bieber after he cancelled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour.

The ‘Free Fallin’ hitmaker has praised the ‘Love Yourself’ singer for knowing it was time to "call it" and pull the remaining 14 dates of the tour including a string of shows in North America as well as gigs in Japan, Singapore and The Philippines.

John wrote on Twitter: "When someone pulls remaining dates of a tour, it means they would have done real damage to themselves if they kept going …

"We’ve lost so many great artists lately. I give Justin [a thumbs up] for realizing it was time to call it. You should too. (sic)"

Justin announced he would be cancelling the dates in a post on his website on Monday (24.07.17).

The statement read: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them.

"He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.

"However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase."

And now it has been claimed that Justin axed the dates because he is "exhausted".

A source said: "This is a guy who has had 150 shows on this tour, on six continents, over the last year and half, and he’s tired. He needed a break and as much as he didn’t want to disappoint his fans, the best decision for him was to cancel the remaining tour dates. The tour was just really long and he was exhausted. He doesn’t want to let his fans down but they have always had his back."
