Helen Mirren praises Kim Kardashian West

Helen Mirren has praised Kim Kardashian West for showing women they can be curvy and sexy.

While the 70-year-old actress is not a fan of the 35-year-old star’s reality TV show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, she admires Kim for promoting body positivity.

She said: "I’m not into the Kardashians, it’s a phenomenon I just don’t find interesting, but – and this is the big word: B-U-T-T – it’s wonderful that you’re allowed to have a butt nowadays! Thanks to Madame Kardashian, and before her, J-Lo. We’re also allowed to have thighs now, which is great too. It’s very positive."

And Helen revealed she has a special admiration for "shameless" women who are pushing boundaries.

She explained: "When I was growing up, it was thought to be unbelievably sluttish to even have a bra strap showing. Everything was about women conforming. I love shameless women. Shameless and proud!

"Women were controlled by being shamed, so I love women who have claimed their own bodies: Madonna, Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett, Bonnie Raitt. I love Pussy Riot more than anything in the world. They all raise their middle fingers to this epithet of ‘sl*t’ They wear what they want to wear, behave as they want to behave."

Meanwhile, Helen – who has been married to Taylor Hackford for 19 years – has no regrets about her life and even has fond memories of all of her past loves.

She said: "I have lived the life I wanted. You never know because it’s all a crap shoot – terrible things can happen to knock you off your perch and make life hard, so I fully understand how fortunate I have been.

"And I have had a series of very, very good men in my life. My husband, obviously, is the uber good man, but all the men I had relationships with brought something positive to my life."

Kim Kardashian West had ‘secret midnight’ dress fittings for Met Gala

Kim Kardashian West had a secret midnight dress fitting ahead of the Met Gala.

The 35-year-old star made sure her preparation for the extravagant event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday evening (05.02.16) was perfect in order to avoid criticism for her fashion choice, just like in 2013 when her Givenchy "couch dress" got people talking for all the wrong reasons.

Kim – who walked the red carpet with her husband Kanye West – travelled to the SoHo Grand hotel in New York on Saturday night (04.30.16) for her hush hush dress fitting.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "Kim flew in for secret midnight fittings at a luxurious penthouse at the SoHo Grand at midnight on Saturday."

The metallic dress Kim decided to wear was actually a combination of two Balmain gowns created by Olivier Rousteing and fitted the party’s Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology theme perfectly.

Her husband Kanye West revealed on Twitter: "Thank you Olivier for making 4 dresses for Kim to choose from which we chopped 2 in half (sic)"

Kim and Kanye – who have two children, daughter North, two and six-month-old son Saint, together – were in New York all weekend gearing up for the Met Ball – which is organized by Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-chief of American Vogue magazine.

Kanye, 38, personally thanked Anna for inviting him and his wife to the Met Gala, which he described as the "Grammys of style".

The rapper – whose outfit was also created by Balmain – wrote in a series of Twitter posts: "Thank you Anna for the invite thank you to the whole Vogue team … This Gala is like the Grammys of style!

"Also (thank you) to Kim’s hair and makeup Lorraine jewelry and the whole style squad at Balmain and the Yeezy team. (sic)"

Kim Kardashian to appear on new game show Big Fan

Kim Kardashian West is to appear on new game show ‘Big Fan’.
The 35-year-old star will be the focus of a forthcoming episode of the ABC series, which will see three of the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star’s biggest fans go up against each other in a test to see who knows more about her life and the winner will get the chance to have a unique experience with their idol.
Kim – who is married to Kanye West – took to her Twitter account to announce the news to her 42.1 million followers and urge them to apply to be on the show.
She tweeted: "I am going to be on a new ABC game show and I need some of my biggest fans to play with! Go to bigfan.castingcrane.com to apply (sic)"
‘Big Fan is based on the ‘Who Knows’ segment of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ and the chat show host will lead the production with Andy Richter set to present.
Applications for contestants will close on April 1, and applicants must explain why Kim, or another celebrity, is their ultimate idol, when they first became a fan, what memorabilia they own of the star and answer other questions.

Kardashian sisters ‘hit with $180m lawsuit’

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are being sued for more than $180 million.
The sisters have reportedly been hit with a lawsuit from investment firm Hillair Capital Management over their cosmetics line, Kardashian Beauty, according to court documents obtained by Radar Online.
Hillair is said to be suing the trio for breach of contract, fraud, deceit and negligent misrepresentation after the company agreed to invest more than $10 million to try to save the siblings’ "struggling" beauty line in July 2014.
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney settled a lawsuit involving former distributor Boldface Licensing and Branding in April 2014 over their Khroma Beauty line, which was rebranded as Kardashian Beauty after Florida-based Kroma Makeup founder Lee Tillett initially filed the lawsuit in 2012.
The court documents for Hillair’s latest lawsuit claim that the reality TV trio "agreed to put up millions of dollars to help the Kardashians salvage their struggling Kardashian Beauty makeup line" in July 2014 "after former distributor, Boldface, went belly up amidst legal and financial troubles.
"The essence of the parties’ bargain was that Hillair would put up millions of dollars to fund the continued distribution of the Kardashians’ line, and the Kardashians would continue to be the faces of the line, and actively promote, market and support the line."
The company claims it upheld its "part of the bargain" but the Kardashian sisters "immediately stopped marketing, promoting, and supporting the line and began courting new potential investors to buy out Hillair’s stake".
As a result, Hillair wants the $10.1 million they invested back as well as what the company estimates they would have made, "between $64 million and $180 million".

Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s new mobile game has gone straight to number one at the Apple Store.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars only released ‘Kendall & Kylie’ yesterday (17.02.16) but it is already proving a hit with fans.

Taking to Instagram with a screengrab of the chart placing, Kylie wrote: ”We are number 1 people!!!!!! #kendallkyliegame !!!!!! (sic)”

And the sisters’ mother and manager, Kris Jenner, was equally delighted with the success of her ”babies”’ new venture.

She wrote: ”Congrats to my 2 babies!! #1!!!! #proudmama!! thanks @glumobile for the amazing partnership! #kendallkyliegame.(sic)”

Similar to their older half-sister Kim Kardashian West’s gaming app, ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’, the two stars’ game is an interactive experience where fans can create their own customised characters and interact with the famous family and their friends.

Users begin with no friends or job, just an iPhone and a tiny Santa Monica apartment and have to build their contacts list, reputation and embark on adventures throughout California.

The sisters are both avid users of social media, and it plays a key role in the game, as each time a player does something of note, they can post a selfie and gain followers within the virtual world’s social media feed.

As more content is posted, users can unlock exclusive messages from Kendall, 20, and Kylie, 18, and gain likes and followers.

Kim Kardashian West to join Snapchat?

Kim Kardashian West is planning to join Snapchat.

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has teased fans she is thinking of signing up for the app, which allows users to send photos, videos and other messages that are deleted after a short space of time.

Kim appeared in a Snapchat video posted to DJ Khaled’s account, in which she laughed and smiled as he sang her praises.

Khaled said: ”Ayo Kim, they don’t want you to wear the Saint Laurent fur. They don’t want you to break the app store.

”They don’t want you to be the biggest boss in the game. So, what we gonna do is we gonna win more.”

The 34-year-old beauty – who has children North, two, and Saint, four weeks, with husband Kanye West – then shared an image from the video on her social media accounts and wrote: ”Should I? #SNAPCHAT.(sic)”

And her fans were clearly excited by the idea, as her Instagram posting – which had ‘Kim Snapchat soon come’ written on the still – has already attracted over 700,000 likes.

Kim’s half-sister, 18-year-old Kylie Jenner, is currently the most viewed person on Snapchat and often makes multiple posts a day.

Kim Kardashian West wants another baby

Kim Kardashian West is already thinking about having another baby with her husband Kanye West.

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star, 35, may be just weeks away from giving birth to her second child but she’s desperate to complete her brood sooner rather than later.

Speaking to her mother Kris Jenner during a sneak preview of their E! reality TV show on Thursday (12.03.15), the brunette beauty said: ”I’m not worried about after [giving birth to my second child] …I’m just worried about number three, that’s when your body really starts to slip.”

Clearly shocked by Kim’s random outburst, Kris, 60, snapped back: ”Number three? Whoa! Can we just slow down and have number two?”

Meanwhile, although her due date isn’t for another couple of weeks, Kanye, 38, recently revealed they’re expecting to welcome their baby son into the world ”any day now.”

The rapper’s revelation comes just days after Kim, who already has two-year-old daughter North with the ‘Only One’ hitmaker, underwent a medical procedure in a bid to turn her breech baby to the head-down position.

But, while the procedure was a success and the tiny tot is now engaged, the beauty admitted it was extremely painful.

She said at the time: ”They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!! (sic)”

Pregnant Kim Kardashian gains 52lbs

Kim Kardashian has gained 52lbs during her pregnancy.

The 35-year-old reality TV star – who has previously called pregnancy the ”worst experience of my life” – admitted she has piled on the pounds while expecting her second child.

She tweeted: ”Ok I’m 52 lbs up today….and I still have 6 weeks to go! I got my work cut out for me!!!!”

Kim – who already has two-year-old daughter North with husband Kanye West – previously admitted she hasn’t enjoyed either of her pregnancies.

Kim wrote on her website: ”I’m gonna keep it real: For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life! LOL! I don’t enjoy one moment of it and I don’t understand people who enjoy it.

”Maybe it’s the swelling, the backaches or just the complete mindf**k of how your body expands and nothing fits. I just always feel like I’m not in my own skin.

”People just don’t tell you all of the gross things that happen during pregnancy or after. Do you know you basically have to wear a diaper for two months afterwards! LOL! No one told me that! #SoSexy.”

However, Kim insisted that it is worth it in the end.

She completed her blog post by writing: ”Really, it is all SO worth it when you have your precious baby in the end! So for all my complaining, it’s 100 percent worth it and more!!!”

Kendall Jenner flashes nipple to celebrate 20th birthday

Kendall Jenner flashed her nipple to mark her 20th birthday and to honour reaching 40 million followers on Instagram.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star celebrated the two milestones by treating her fans to a very revealing snap shot of her bosom escaping from her black spaghetti top.

Uploading the raunchy image onto her social networking sites, the model wrote: ”My favorite photo for all 40 mill of you. genuine happiness… (sic).”

With her chocolate locks cascading down her back, the stunner oozed confidence as she giggled away while the risqué image was taken by her pal Moises Arias, 21.

It’s certainly been a special and extravagant birthday for the brunette beauty – who turned 20 on November 3 – as she splashed out $100,000 on a classic 1957 Corvette Stingray car as a birthday gift to herself.

Alex Manos, owner of the Beverly Hills Car Club, described the highly-coveted vehicle as a ”great example” of its era, noting it was in good condition and hasn’t been customised.

He said previously: ”This particular model 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible comes in a Cascade Green with beige coves and white shoreline beige interior and Beige soft top.”

He added: ”It’s a 4-speed car and should come with the spare tire, jack, jack tools and trunk mat. The tires are the original white walls. This is a great example of the first generation Corvette.”

Kendall celebrated her milestone on Monday (11.02.15) at the Nice Guy Club in West Hollywood, with her mother Kris Jenner and half-sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West among those in attendance.

Kris and Caitlyn Jenner ‘forced children to take sides’

Kris and Caitlyn Jenner forced their children to choose between them when they split.

The former couple – who were married for almost 24 years – officially divorced in March, just before Caitlyn came out as a transgender woman and their 19-year-old daughter Kendall claims they made her and her sister Kylie, 18, take sides.

In a teaser for the upcoming series of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, she said: ”Dad and mom put me and Kylie into choosing between them.”

Kris previously lashed out at Caitlyn, telling her to ”go f**k himself”.

She was furious with her ex-husband – who was known as Bruce before he transitioned – after she accused her of bullying her during their 24 years of marriage in her first interview as a woman.

Speaking about the July issue of Vanity Fair magazine, Kris fumed: ”It just sums up that I’m this piece of s**t person who was mean. He can go f**k himself. I honestly wish I never met this man.”

And Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian West, 35, wasn’t happy with her step-father’s comments in the interview.

She said: ”All Caitlyn can talk about is that my mom mistreated her and was awful, and just all these really rude things when there’s no reason to bash my mom”

Younger sister Khloe, 31, agreed.

She chipped in: ”Don’t discredit all these children that you guys brought into the mix. We don’t believe in bashing anybody. We don’t bash any parents. I expect her to do the same.”
