Taylor Swift celebrates 50m Instagram followers

Taylor Swift is celebrating 50 million Instagram followers.

The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker is the first person to reach the milestone, with Kim Kardashian West and Beyoncé following close behind with 48.4 million and 47.5 million followers respectively.

However, Taylor claims she only got the accolade because she has ”cute cats”.

Sharing a screenshot of her profile, she wrote: ”50 million followers! Thanks so much guys. I’m pretty sure this is just because I have cute cats though. (sic)”

And despite her 50 million followers not being able to get enough of her, the 25-year-old beauty recently admitted she feels as though people ”need a break” from her.

She shared: ”I think I should take some time off. People might need a break from me. I’m going to hang out with friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don’t know.

”If you let your anxiety get the better of you, like everybody’s waiting for you to really mess up, then you’ll be done. A lot of the time I call my mom and talk for a really long time, just to remind myself of all the things that are great and that matter.”

Kim Kardashian West due to give birth on Christmas Day

Kim Kardashian West is reportedly due to give birth to her baby son on Christmas Day (12.25.15).

The 34-year-old reality star and her husband Kanye West, 38, have been told by doctors their second child is likely to make his arrival into the world around the festive season.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com: ”Doctors have back timed the date of conception and they’ve been told their son will be born on Christmas day.”

The insider went on to explain that although doctors are hopeful Kim will have a natural birth, a Caesarian section may need to take place because she reportedly suffers with the serious condition placenta accreta, which means the placenta attaches itself too deeply into the uterine wall.

The couple – who already have two-year-old daughter North together – are believed to have already booked out a Deluxe Maternity Suite at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles for the birth.

Meanwhile, the raven-haired beauty is trying to stay in shape during her second pregnancy, and her favorite way to do so is to walk at least 10,000 steps a day.

Her trainer, Harley Pasternak, said previously: ”She likes to walk while on phone calls; she likes to walk to her sisters in the gated community; and she walks with North.”

Kim is also taking care with her diet to ensure she is getting all the vital nutrients she and her baby need.

Kim Kardashian wants to ”pass on the baton” to Kylie Jenner.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was responding to rumours she had been ”dethroned” by her 18-year-old stepsister and whilst she joked it would still be a few more years until Kylie took charge of their family, she thinks she’s really ”deserving” of the title.

Speaking in a video released on Kylie’s website, Kim says: ”I mean honey, let’s be real you got to put in a few years before you actually dethrone me. But I want to pass on the baton to you.

”Who better to pass on the knowledge to? You guys I give her all the tricks. She is so like deserving. If I want to share my clothes, my tips, my glam squad it is to King Kylie.”

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old television personality recently referred to Kylie as her ”little twin”.

When asked about their similar styles, she shared: ”I love that. She is the best, you know? She’s my little twin soul. She’s such a free spirit, and I love that. She’s the sweetest.”

And Kylie previously admitted she looks to Kim and her husband Kanye West for style inspiration.

She shared: ”The people who really inspire my style-wise are obviously Kim and Kanye.”

Kanye West threatens to sue models if they talk about him or family

Kanye West has threatened to sue his fashion week models if they’re caught talking about him or his family.

The 38-year-old rapper has banned everyone involved in his show at New York Fashion Week from discussing him, his wife Kim Kardashian West, 34, and his daughter North, two, or risk being slapped with a £6.5 million fine after they put pen to paper signed his non-disclosure forms.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ”Kanye’s hacked off some really high-profile models by asking them to sign the agreement, particularly because it stated that he could sue them for up to $10million if they spoke out about him.”

The source added: ”It’s a ridiculous amount and some models flat out refused. He’s not considered a great talent – everyone knows his show is just a media frenzy, so some girls would rather not be associated with him.”

However, it’s not just his models Kanye has angered as he’s also rattled fellow designer Anne Bowen by announcing at the last minute that he wants to showcase the second season of his Kanye West X Adidas Originals Collection.

The streetwear designer has now been forced to reschedule the date of her show in order to stop it from clashing with the ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker’s.

She said recently: ”Kanye knows he is a media sensation and it is just not ethical to do this. It’s like we are David and he is Goliath. We have put our heart and soul into our show, and should not be stepped on like this​.”

Kris Jenner finds Caitlyn gender swap ’embarrassing, sister claims’

Kris Jenner is embarrassed by her ex-husband’s gender transition, her sister Karen has claimed.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is still coming to terms with the fact her marriage ended when Bruce Jenner – who is now living as a woman called Caitlyn – decided to change sex but despite her inner turmoil, the showbiz matriarch is putting on a brave face and dealing with it as best she can.

Kris’ younger sibling Karen told the new issue of Heat magazine: ”It’s still so strange, all of us are trying to adjust to things because it was such a shock. I don’t think anyone is used to the fact that this is Bruce. Of course, we all love Caitlyn but I felt so bad for Kris, she was so hurt and is still coming to terms with it. Kris doesn’t talk about it much because she finds it embarrassing – I think she’s hurt more than anything.

”But my sister is a genius at marketing so she’s very good at hiding her feelings. Kris doesn’t want the world to think her life is falling apart.”

Despite her current struggles, Karen believes Kris – who had two daughters, Kylie and Kendall, with Bruce – will go on to forge a strong friendship with Caitlyn once she has accepted his decision to become a woman had nothing to do with their life together.

Karen added: ”We love Bruce so much. He did a very brave thing. If it makes him happy, then it’s good.

”It hasn’t been fun for Kris – the whole world has seen this played out, but I think her and Caitlyn will end up as friends. This is something none of us dreamed would happen, but now only time will tell what happens next.”

Rihanna would vote for Kanye West to be President

Rihanna would vote for Kanye West to become President of the United States.

During his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard prize speech at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (30.08.15), Kanye joked that he wanted to run to be leader of America in 2020 and if he did Rihanna insists he would get her vote.

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Rihanna – who did not attend the VMAs – said: ”I mean people are voting for [Donald] Trump. Who wouldn’t vote for Kanye? I got to see his speech and I’m really, really elated with it. His speech was incredible.”

Kanye’s bid for the presidency came at the end of his speech, when he said: ”If my grandfather was here right now he would not let me back down! I don’t know I’m fittin’ to lose after this. It don’t matter though, cuz it ain’t about me.

”It’s about ideas, bro. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth. And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president! (sic)”

His announcement prompted host Miley Cyrus to quip: ”Woah, now we all know what happens to Kanye West when he smokes weed.”

Kim Kardashian West wins proposal settlement

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are to receive $440,000 damages from YouTube’s co-founder.

The couple sued executive Chad Hurley after he defied a confidentiality agreement and leaked footage of the rapper’s lavish 2013 marriage proposal to the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star onto his site MixBit and he has now agreed to settle the dispute with the six-figure payout.

According to TMZ, Hurley – who sold YouTube for $1.6 billion – must pay up within the next few days and then the lawsuit will be dismissed.

Hurley’s legal team had previously argued that a loophole meant posting the video on MixBit didn’t violate the confidentiality agreement, but Kim and Kanye insisted he had snuck into San Francisco’s AT&T Park – the site of the proposal – with the intention to film and they only allowed him to stay on the property after he agreed to sign the non-disclosure document.

The couple – who have two-year-old daughter North together and are expecting their second child – went on to state in their suit: ”Hurley proceeded to try to turn the event into one starring himself, broadcasting the images he knew were the exclusive property rights of someone else.”

The tech executive previously appealed the legitimacy of the lawsuit, but a hearing in April upheld the previous ruling, allowing the couple to go ahead with their bid for damages.

Scott Disick: I’m ‘getting used’ to Caitlyn Jenner

Scott Disick still needs to ”get used” to Caitlyn Jenner.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star admitted to the 65-year-old former Olympian – who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition – that he found it ”interesting” to look at her.

Speaking on a new episode of ‘I Am Cait’, Scott shared: ”It’s gonna take some getting used to, I think, for everybody.

”But obviously, it’s interesting to look at you… it’s still you, so it’s not like, who is this person? Obviously I’m just excited for you to have all the weight lifted off of you. You look great, you seem happy, that’s all that matters.”

And when Caitlyn brought up Kris Humphries’ ”transphobic” tweet, Scott said: ”To be honest, I don’t know if every man in the world is going to be as comfortable as I am.”

Meanwhile, Kris – who was married to Caitlyn’s stepdaughter Kim Kardashian West for just 72 days in 2011 – reportedly felt ”sad” for the television personality as she had to face such an ”internal struggle”.

A source said: ”He felt sad for Caitlyn after watching the 20/20 interview because she had to live her life as a man for so many years, even though Kris Jenner was fully aware of the internal struggle her spouse was dealing with … Kris is happy that Caitlyn is living the life she wants to, out in the open.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West eye UK home

Kanye and Kim Kardashian West are eyeing a £10 million home in Britain.

The superstar couple have reportedly set their sights on a 13-bedroom mansion in Hampstead, North London, in an effort to give their children a British education.

The luxurious home was previously owned by Prince William’s godfather Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ”This is more about Kim who has a secret obsession with William and Kate and wants to give her children an English home as well as their one in LA – and an English education.

”When Kim heard there were connections with Prince William, the house was of real interest.

”She follows the couple religiously and now buys clothes from whichever designers Kate follows.”

Hampstead is home to many A-list celebrities including Kate Moss, Ricky Gervais and Liam Gallagher.

Kim, 34, is currently expecting her second child with Kanye, 38. The couple already have two-year-old daughter North West.

North West is Olivier Rousteing’s ”muse”.

The two-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West has inspired the 29-year-old creative director of Balmain according to the tot’s mother, who received three customized jackets especially for the toddler from the designer.

She wrote on Instagram: ”Baby Balmain!!! Thank you so much @olivier_rousteing &@balmainparis for making North these one of a kind jackets!!! I’m so honored that Northie is your little muse! Can’t wait for her to wear them!!! (sic)”

Olivier – who chose Kim and Kanye to star in Balmain’s spring/summer 2015 men’s campaign – has previously gushed about the adorable child and said he sees the West family as representing a ”new world”.

Speaking about the family in March, he said: ”I don’t think about them as big stars. Whether people like them or not, it’s a new world and people need to embrace it. I think Kim is one of the most impressive business women I’ve ever met. She’s got an amazing career, husband and beautiful kid. She’s so powerful, but at the same time really humble with good values. But it’s more than that. When I was a teenager I had no reference of any mixed race couples. Kim and Kanye are one of the most famous couples in the world and the fact that Kanye is black American and Kim is white Armenian-American mix offers a great example of diversity. They are what I guess a modern couple looks like today.”

And in a later interview, he added: ”Today they are among the most talked-about people, and North is one of the most beautiful babies on the planet.”
