Kim Kardashian West insists naming her son South is the ”stupidest” idea.

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star and her husband Kanye West are expecting their second child, a boy, but she won’t be giving the tot a moniker that is a ”lower direction” than her two-year-old daughter’s name, North.

Asked on Shaquille O’Neal’s ‘Big Podcast’ how many times she has been asked if she will name the baby South West, she said: ”I’ve been asked hundreds of times. And I think it’s the stupidest question, no disrespect to you.

”Why just add another direction? We’re good. North is the best. I don’t want to try and duplicate that with like a lower direction, you know?”

Kanye recently spoke out to defend his daughter’s ”innovative” name.

He said: ”Ya’ll be calling my daughter’s name weird, like, her name should be like some name that you’ve heard before and all that. I don’t like to say that it’s weird when it’s innovative and fresh.

”Like I hate that, like, creatives are beat down so much and are put in a position where they can’t even speak out loud, that’s the reason why the world be ugly, because there’s millions of beautiful colors in the world but the world is only controlled by one color.”

Kim Kardashian West believes she’s a feminist.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has insisted she doesn’t like ”labelling” herself but considers herself to be an advocate for women’s rights.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: ”I’ve never really been one on labels, and I don’t like to push my view. If I feel something, it’s how I feel. I never say, ‘I feel this way, so you should feel that way.’

”Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but I just am who I am. But, yeah. I think you would call me a feminist.”

Despite being happy to be labelled a feminist, the 34-year-old beauty has no problems with her husband Kanye West – with whom she has two-year-old daughter North – selecting clothes for her to wear, admitting at the beginning of their relationship he threw all her clothes out.

She said previously: ”I was obsessed with glitter, rhinestone heels and the kind of clothes I now laugh at, and he threw them all out. I said, ‘Well I’m going to save them for my daughter one day.’ And he said, ‘Well if it’s going to be our daughter, she’s never going to wear those!’

”I think he probably thought they were a bit cheesy. I’d never spent time in London or Paris or seen what style was like around the world, so he wanted to bring in stylists from all over the world to just update my look. And they brought in things like snakeskin that I’d never seen before.”

Kim Kardashian West will adopt a child in the future, her friend believes.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is currently pregnant with her second child but made no secret of the fact she struggled to conceive and her pal Mayte Garcia admits the brunette beauty and her husband Kanye West – who already have two-year-old daughter North together- were exploring other options to expand their family.

Speaking to the new issue of Britain’s Heat magazine, Mayte said: ”I think she might adopt in the future. I think Kim is very headstrong and her goal was to get pregnant and she did. But I know she had adoption in the back of her mind absolutely.

”It’s great that she and Kanye are having another baby because she’s always wanted that.”

And Mayte doesn’t expect her friend will be too worried about getting back into shape once she’s given birth to her son in December.

She said: ”When Kim first had North, she stopped everything.

”She stayed in her pajamas for weeks, taking care of the baby.

”We used to work out before we both had children and she’d text me at night like, ‘OK, tomorrow, 5am … I have a crazy day.’

”She’s very, very into her physique but of course, now she’s a mother you have to make time for it, as you want to enjoy living rather than being a slave to working out.”

Kim Kardashian West is expecting a baby boy.

The 34-year-old reality TV star – who already has two-year-old daughter North with her husband Kanye West – took to Twitter on Sunday (06.21.15) to reveal they are preparing to welcome a son.

Addressing her message to Kanye, she wrote: ”You’re such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!”

Meanwhile, Kim had earlier posted a glowing tribute to her husband to mark Father’s Day.

She tweeted: ”I’m so lucky to be married to a man who is so in love with his daughter, your bond is so irreplaceable! Thank you for being such a good dad! We love and appreciate you so much! We’re so blessed to have you!”

Kim’s tweets come shortly after she rubbished speculation surrounding the sex of the baby, insisting that she and her 38-year-old husband had refused to reveal details regarding the birth.

Speaking earlier this month, she said: ”We actually haven’t told anyone the sex. So I heard that we’re having a boy. I heard that we’re having twins. I heard that I’m not even carrying my own baby. I’ve heard so many things and most of that information is not true.”

Kanye West believes his daughter’s name is ”innovative and fresh”.

The ‘All Day’ rapper – who is expecting his second child with wife Kim Kardashian West – hates it when people describe 23-month-old North’s moniker as ”weird” and thinks the world is ”ugly” because there is so much criticism of those that don’t conform.

He said: ”Ya’ll be calling my daughter’s name weird, like, her name should be like some name that you’ve heard before and all that. I don’t like to say that it’s weird when it’s innovative and fresh.

Though the 37-year-old rapper says he can’t defend himself against all criticism, he insists he is ”brave” enough to take the ”hit” on behalf of all creatives but thinks he is attacked unfairly as he gives so much to the world.

Speaking to Hot 97fm, he said: ”I’m in my own zone. I can’t walk around trying to defend myself, chime in on everything.

”I fight for the people who see those colors, who understand it, and I take the hit constantly. I have the bravery to take the hit, people to call me names, call wife names, call my daughter …

”We take the hit, but when it’s said and done if you look at the past 10 years, have I contributed more or took away more from the world? From music, from stage design, or just from wearing dope a*s coats at the airport?”

And though he is a regular feature in the media for more than just his music, Kanye insists he actually leads a very ”boring” life.

He said: ”I’m completely boring, actually. I don’t want to kill the blogs and media stakeout and stuff, but I’m so boring. All I do is go to the studio everyday.”

The ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker is ready to take a break from the spotlight to focus on his family and ”recharge” before he makes new music.

He said: ”I gotta focus on the kids, I gotta take them to tap class and all types of gym class.

”I really wanna go away, like I been doing a lot of features, right now I just want to take some time to focus on my album, my next collection and North’s birthday.

”Just focus on my family and then be able to recharge and reenergize and bring something of value.”

Kim Kardashian West wants ‘traditional’ baby name

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West want their baby to have a ”traditional” name influenced by their late parents.

The couple – who already have 23-month-old daughter North together – are expecting their second child but insiders have dismissed speculation the new arrival will also have a directional moniker, such as South, East or Easton.

A source explained to TMZ that the couple opted for North because of a power element; that it is always on top or pointing up, and other points can’t match that.

Instead, the insider claims the 34-year-old reality star and her 37-year-old husband would prefer something more traditional, with a family-related influence, likely connected to Kim’s late father Robert or Kanye’s deceased mother Donda.

Though the couple don’t yet know the gender of their unborn tot, which is due in December, it was recently claimed the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star and the ‘All Day’ rapper are hoping for a little boy and are planning a blue nursery for the youngster.

A source said: ”They want a son.”

Meanwhile, Kim, who felt bullied about her weight gain while she was expecting North, is already bracing herself for criticism about her pregnant figure.

The insider said: ”She doesn’t want to be ripped apart again.”

Kim Kardashian West gets ”a little feisty” when she’s pregnant.

The 34-year-old reality TV star, who is expecting her second child with husband Kanye West, lashed out critics from spreading false rumors about her unborn baby on Twitter earlier this week, but admits she was ”just bored.”

She said: ”I guess I get a little feisty when I’m pregnant. So I was just responding to people that come up with the most ridiculous things as if they’re facts. So I was like, I might as well just say whatever I want.”

Asked about speculation she is carrying twins, she added: ”It’s ridiculous rumors. I can’t wait till my website’s up so I can just say whatever I want, when I want.”

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star, who already has 23-month-old daughter North, is currently battling laryngitis and morning sickness.

She told E! News: ”I have laryngitis, so I’m a little under the weather. I lost my voice.”

Kim is planning to ”slow down” in the coming months, but is still feeling energetic enough to travel a lot for work.

She said: ”You know, I’m definitely going to slow down a lot after this. You know, I have a couple more months at least that I think I’m good to travel.”

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star – who announced she was pregnant with husband Kanye West’s baby yesterday (06.01.15) is believed to have had two eggs fertilised.

A source shared: ”Kim has told a handful of people that she had in vitro and that two eggs were fertilized. She is waiting to see if they both ‘stick’ before she makes any kind of announcement.

”She has to wait and see if they are both OK. And she is waiting to get an OK from her doctor that both the fertilized eggs are healthy.”

The 34-year-old television personality – who has 23-month-old daughter North with the ‘Bound 2’ rapper – is also said to be keeping a low profile about her happy news – with only her mother, sisters and husband knowing about the twins – so she does not upstage her stepmother Caitlyn Jenner, who was previously known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition, who revealed her new name and the first photographs yesterday (06.01.15).

Meanwhile, the family are said to be planning an outing together with Caitlyn so they can show their support for the 65-year-old former Olympian.

Another insider added to NYDailyNews.com: ”They’re planning a family outing that’s going to be ‘accidentally’ filmed by the paparazzi. It’s going to be Kim, Kanye and maybe others, going out with Caitlyn to show their support.

”They’re talking about doing it in New York and not L.A. Kris is reluctant to take part in it. It would happen sooner than later.”

Caitlyn Jenner: I was ‘mistreated’ by Kris Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner has claimed she was ”mistreated” by Kris Jenner.

The 65-year-old former Olympian – who was previously known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition – says she chose to end her relationship with the 59-year-old television personality because of the way she was treated.

She said: ”Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated …

”A lot of times she wasn’t very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money … all that kind of stuff.”

Caitlyn also admitted things changed when the pair secured a contract for ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

She added: ”The first 15 years I felt she needed me more because I was the breadwinner … Then really around the show, when that hit and she was running this whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint.

”The relationship was different. I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. Then I’d get upset and the whole relationship kind of fizzled.”

However, Kris refutes this and says the pair split because of Bruce’s ”social anxiety”.

Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine as part of Caitlyn’s cover shoot, she said: ”He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable … All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off.

”At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety … That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end. We fought a lot because we would go out together and before we got to the end of the block we were in a fight because he started saying, ‘When can we go home?”’
