Kanye West Is A ‘Blowfish’

Kanye West claims he’s a ”blowfish”.

The 37-year-old rapper – who has hit the headlines on numerous occasions for allegedly attacking paparazzi – claims he’s not as bad as people make out and he only attacks when he feels threatened by something.

Speaking in the new issue of GQ magazine, he said: ”I don’t have fangs. I’m a porcupine. I’m a blowfish. Like, I’m a — what’s that fish that blows up? Yeah, I’m a blowfish. I’m not a shark, I’m a blowfish … I’m defending my name as someone’s screaming something negative at me. That’s a blowfish. People have me pinned as a shark or a predator in some way, and in no way am I that. I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone. I want to defend people. I want to help people.”

The hunky star – who has 13-month-old daughter North with his wife Kim Kardashian – admits he felt the need to defend himself in order to gain respect from others.

He explained: ”My goal is just to be respected as a man when I walk down the street with my family.

”I don’t care what your job is, you’re not gonna talk down to me, you’re not gonna try to get a rise out of me. I’m a man first. And in establishing that, some interesting things have happened.”

La Toya Jackson wants ‘huge’ wedding

La Toya Jackson says her wedding will be ”bigger than anything”.

The 58-year-old star is planning her nuptials to her fiancé and business manager Jeffré Phillips and insists it’s going to be bigger than Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s big day which saw the reality star and rapper wed in a lavish ceremony in Italy last month.

She told the New York Daily News newspaper: ”It’s going to be bigger than Kim’s.

”It’ll be bigger than anything, huge. Lots of people, all of it.”

The pair got engaged while they were on vacation in Hawaii last August. Jeffré had La Toya follow a path of white rose petals and gardenias to their hotel balcony, where he had arranged a romantic dinner of her favourite foods, before surprising her with a 17.5 carat diamond ring, which had been hidden under a dessert tray.

La Toya is the sister of late pop legend Michael Jackson – who died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009 – and she still finds it difficult to talk her sibling.

A source said: ”La Toya just gets very emotional, and that’s the topic that can make her cry. It’s a hard topic and it hasn’t gotten any better. She is a sensitive soul and just wants to focus on herself and her career.”

Jay Z won’t attend Kanye West’s wedding

Jay Z won’t be attending Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding.

The rap mogul has reportedly told his close friend that he, wife Beyonce Knowles, and their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy will miss the nuptials – which are expected to take place in Paris next month – because they are uneasy about the fact the celebrations will be filmed for the brunette beauty’s reality show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.

However, to make things up to the ‘Bound 2’ star – who has 10-month-old daughter North with Kim – Jay will throw him a lavish bachelor party at his New York club 40/40, and is also planning to spend £100,000 on the couple’s honeymoon as a wedding gift.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ”Jay Z would be there if it wasn’t going to be such a public event.

”Instead he’s making it up to his mate by throwing him the most extravagant bachelor party known to man.

”It will cost a small fortune – and to top it all off, he’s chucked a £100,000 yacht rental in there as a wedding gift as well.”

It was previously claimed that Kim and Kanye were so keen for Jay and Beyonce to be at their wedding, they had agreed to exempt the couple from their strict security arrangements.

A source previously said: ”There is no way Kanye would ever even dare to ask Jay or Beyonce to sign a non-disclosure agreement, or take away their cell phones. He knows that neither one of them would betray his trust.”

Kanye West settles assault lawsuit

Kanye West has reportedly settled a lawsuit with a teenager for more than $250,000.

The ‘New Slaves’ rapper, 36, was accused of attacking an unidentified 18-year-old man in the waiting room of a chiropractor’s office in Los Angeles earlier this month after the youth hurled racial slurs at his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, and has now settled the case out of court.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the alleged victim has agreed to the civil settlement despite initially demanding a much larger six-figure sum and no longer wants to move forward with a criminal prosecution.

Law enforcement sources said the District Attorney in L.A. hasn’t decided whether to charge Kanye, 36, with battery but it is now very unlikely he will be prosecuted.

Kanye’s lawyer, Shawn Holley would not comment on the settlement.

The teen is said to have triggered the altercation after he met Kim – who was alone – on the streets of Beverly Hills and called her a ”n****r lover” and a ”stupid sl*t”. She then tried to walk away, but the man pursued her, and she called Kanye, who raced to the scene.

A source claimed at the time: ”He threatened to hit her. He said, ‘I bet I could beat you’.

”She’s tiny, and if someone is following you screaming, ‘Slut! n****r lover! ****,’ you don’t know if you’re dealing with an insane person who will go postal and hurt you. She was so upset, she was crying.”

Kanye West’s alleged altercation with abusive man

Kanye West allegedly hit a man who shouted abuse at Kim Kardashian earlier today (13.01.14).

The ‘New Slaves’ rapper’s fiancee was swamped by paparazzi in Beverly Hills this morning but things turned nasty when an 18-year-old man – who initially appeared to be helping her – reportedly started screaming abuse.

The unknown man is said to have first talked about the photographers, saying: ”F**k these fa***t-ass n*****s,” as he helped Kim into a building.

When she told him it was inappropriate to use the N-word, he turned on her and, according to TMZ.com, shouted: ”F**k you bitch. Just trying to help you. Shut up n****r lover, stupid sl*t.”

Kim then watched the man walk into a chiropractor’s office, before calling Kanye. When the man realized who she was on the phone to, he reportedly shouted: ”F**k you n****r”.

Kanye appeared a short time later and went into the chiropractor’s waiting room, where the alleged altercation took place. Witnesses claim Kanye punched the 18-year-old while Kim told him: ”We have it all on tape.”

A massage therapist at the practice then broke up the two men and the police were called. The man said he wanted to press charges against Kanye.

A police spokesperson has confirmed the ‘Stronger’ star is now a suspect in a battery investigation and wanted for interview. The incident may also be referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney for prosecution.

Kanye is already in trouble for allegedly assaulting a photographer at a Los Angeles airport in July last year. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal battery and attempted grand theft, but the case is yet to be resolved.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to move to UK?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to move to London.

The couple are planning to settle down in an up market area of the UK capital in a bid to give their five-month-old daughter North an ”elite” education and social circle.

A source said: ”Kanye talks a lot about how he wants his kids to attend the same boarding schools as Kate Middleton and Prince William did. He wants them to go to Oxford, grow up alongside royalty and be part of the elite.

”They’ll be buying a place and love the idea of Chelsea or Kensington.”

The couple also see the move as a good chance to broaden their respective careers.

The source told heat magazine: ”Kim and Kanye see London as the next phase of their empire growth. The US is pretty much a saturated market for them now, but their business people reckon that London could be their new LA.”

Meanwhile, Kim’s mother-and-manager Kris Jenner is said to see the move as a good idea and is considering persuading more of her family to join the pair.

The source said: ”Kris is in, hook, line and sinker. She looks at London, sees all the power players of the world and wants to be moving in those circles.

”She wants Kendall to sign to a European modeling agency for luxury label work and Kris is pushing for Khloe to be their UK brand ambassador, giving her time and space away from her marital problems with Lamar Odom.

”Kourtney is settled in New York, but it’s only a six-hour flight away and Scott loves the whole Brit thing.”

Kim Kardashian engaged to Kanye West?

Kim Kardashian is reportedly engaged to Kanye West.

The rapper proposed to his ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ girlfriend in front of their friends and family at AT&T Park stadium in San Francisco.

According to E! News the 36-year-old star rented out the stadium for the occasion.

Earlier this week it was said that Kanye had plans propose to Kim – whom he has three-month-old daughter North with – in celebration of her 33rd birthday which she celebrated on October 21, and has even picked out the perfect ring to get down on one knee with.

A source previously said: ”Kim turns 33 today. Kanye had planned to propose for her birthday.

”He chose the ring from exclusive jewellers Boucheron on a recent trip to Paris. But everything else is top secret.”

Kanye was going to share the engagement news at one of his shows in California as part of his ‘Yeezus’ tour next week, when Kim is expected to be in the audience.

The source explained: ”On the Friday when Kanye performs in Las Vegas, Kim has a birthday celebration planned at Tao nightclub.

”Now it’s beginning to look like it could also be an engagement party. Other members of the Kardashian clan are scheduled to be there so it will be a family occasion.”

Kanye West wants another baby

Kanye West wants Kim Kardashian to get pregnant again.

The 36-year-old rapper, whose girlfriend gave birth to their daughter, North West, in June, is trying to convince the reality TV star to expand their family in the near future but she wants to focus on getting her body back in shape.

A source told Britain’s Closer magazine: ”Kim’s really focused on getting back her size 8 figure.

”But Kanye recently suggested they start trying for another baby as he doesn’t want a big gap between their children’s ages.

”Kim, however, doesn’t even want to think about another hellish nine months right now and told Kanye she wants her body back – not another baby.”

The insider claims that Kim is considering going under the knife to slim down but Kanye, whose mother, Donda West, died after complications during surgery, doesn’t want her to take any drastic measures.

The source said: ”Kim’s main concern is her boobs. They went up to an F-cup during her pregnancy, which is twice the size they were before, and she thinks they look droopy. She’s already set up a few consultations and is looking into non-invasive lipo on her tummy and love handles.

”Kanye freaks out about plastic surgery, he told her she’s beautiful and doesn’t need anything done.”

Kim Kardashian names baby Kaidence Donda West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly named their daughter Kaidence Donda West.

The reality TV star gave birth to the couple’s first child on Saturday (06.15.13) in Los Angeles, California, and a loose-lipped nurse at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the hospital where she had her baby, has allegedly revealed their new arrival’s name.

According to gossip website MediaTakeOut.com, Kim and Kanye have settled on calling their daughter Kaidence, which would follow the Kardashian family tradition of naming daughters with the letter ‘K’.

Meanwhile, the newborn’s middle name is a tribute to the ‘All of the Lights’ rapper’s late mother Donda West, who died in November 2007.

Kanye, 36, was incredibly close to his mother and even penned a tribute song about her, titled ‘Hey Mama’, for his 2005 album ‘Late Registration’.

Kim, 32, was due to give birth in mid-July but had her baby five weeks early after experiencing an early onset of labour pains on Friday evening (06.14.13).

The star’s sister Khloe Kardashian-Odom said both mother and baby are doing well.

She wrote on Twitter: "I can not even begin 2 describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all of the love.

"More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now. (sic)"

Kim Kardashian’s $1m birth

Kim Kardashian’s birth looks set to cost more than $1 million.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West in July, and the couple are splashing out more than $4,000 per day on a deluxe birthing suite at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where the 32-year-old star is expected to spend at least three days.

A source said: "This is not going to be just any delivery, even by celebrity standards.

"Kim has already spent tens of thousands of dollars to make sure things go down without a glitch."

Kim and Kanye have splashed out thousands to ensure the maternity suite, which features a full-size bath tub, two beds, a flat-screen TV, as well as a separate sitting room with a sofa and a dining table, will be decorated with dozens of white roses.

In case the couple don’t enjoy the three gourmet meals they will get each day, the reality star has also made sure several of her favorite restaurants are on call for the duration of her stay.

Kim is splashing out $1,000 a day on a photographer to capture her first week as a mother and the delivery, during which she will be wearing top of the range clothing after the couple spent $25,000 on luxury lingerie in Paris last month to ensure she will look the part while giving birth.

The source told National Enquirer magazine: "[Kim] had no intention of wearing a plain old hospital gown that’s been worn by other women."

And Kim’s push present – a gift traditionally given to a mother from her partner after she has the baby – is expected to send the total cost of her birth into the seven-figure mark.

The source added: "Kanye better have done his shopping. Kim is expecting a huge reward for all the months she’s spent with swollen feet, a big weight gain, morning sickness and a massive baby belly."
